I had missed an email. But I followed the Booking.com email I had earlier received. This was responded to by Simone (not Deborah as Booking.com said - maybe needs to be updated). He gave me a link to the instructions to get into the apartment, and retrieve the keys. This was easy as we also arrived earlier than the standard times set. So the automatic access to access the keys was set for the arrival time w indicated.

There are a lot of facilities in the apartment - wifi, with Netflix access, washing machine, and induction hob. The service to clients could be improved by an information booklet on the use of some of the facilities. For example, not used to an induction hob our use of it was trial and error. There was a useful shopping trolly which we found accidentally. We use the washing machine but the position of it makes access to the draw to put washing powder in very difficult. Condensers had not been added to the aircon so we were asked to empty the buckets so that they did not overflow onto the flat below. We understand that there had been legal action between the company and the occupants below. We arrived back one night around 1000 to find no power. I had to send a text to Simone on a Friday night. The trips switches in the apartment were in the correct position, but he had to advise us to find the master trip switch in the basement. A neighbour noticed us there and assisted us to sort this out. If the flat had an information leaflet that included pictures of the trip switches, and the set in the basement, like the pictures sent on how to access the keys, it would improve information and ease of sorting out problems for future clients.
