Jen and all of the crew were amazing. Mar(housekeeper) and Pablo (security guard) were always there to help with anything we needed! Diego(chef) came to the house and cooked the best meals!!! Fabian(property manager) booked all excursions & transportation. We were spoiled this whole week! I can’t thank Jen and the crew enough! This is a definite MUST book! We were truly spoiled this whole vacation !!

This beautiful property right on the south end of the beach in Jaco is immaculately maintained and provides many excellent features to make your vacation stay unique and enjoyable. The lovely covered patio overlooking the ocean, the sun deck, the pool which although small has a very fun waterfall feature, and the ability to literally walk out of the gate and be on the beach are all fantastic. Our group was made up of my four siblings and spouses (ages 56 to 73) and although we are veterans of VRBO locations across the US, this was our first time internationally. It was also our first time with a housekeeper, security guard, and access to a chef for meals if desired--these were luxuries that were greatly appreciated!! Jen, the property manager we worked with mainly, was fantastic! She helped us with making all of our transportation arrangements, both to and from the airport and for local sightseeing trips, and worked with Chef Diego to plan a first-morning brunch and last-evening dinner which were both incredible. Marta and Pablo, the housekeeper and night guard, were always willing to assist with locating a cab, ordering from a restaurant, suggestions for stores or finding ATM's to replenish our CASH needs for excursions, etc. Some notes for future guests: The surf here makes for a great intro to surfing, but if you are looking for white sandy beaches, this is not it. Unexpectedly made up of volcanic silt, the surface created a muddy mess after each high tide so we never actually went to sit out on the beach. We were surprised by the level of security (gated enclosures, high fences, guards) both at the property and in nearby Jaco--we felt safe but are not used to operating in that kind of environment--perhaps just our novice status in travelling to CR. And finally, as stated in the property description, the kitchen and living room area are not air conditioned, so be prepared for humid, warm conditions outside of your bedrooms (which are cooled.) None of these items kept our time at Joya del Pacifico from being an amazing and memorable time together! Pura Vida!

This place was much better than we imagined. The location is the absolute best. You walk to the beach. And the beach is one of the best beaches I have ever seen; warm water, shallow sand beach—the perfect place for our family to get their first surfing lessons. The property manager arranged for all of our activities. that was another added benefit. You can talk to him when you check-in, and he can arrange everything for you. I recommend hiring Chef Diego for private dining. He is a top-notch chef. Communication with the owner and property manager was seamless. we also had daily, on demand cleaning which was great.

The house is beautiful and the location (to the beach) is unbeatable. Bedrooms are luxurious & comfortable and kept clean by the staff. The owners were fabulous in helping us to get excursions booked and made great recommendations for restaurants and places to see. It was fun to go out and walk on the beach each morning. I was very happy with the trip. Note for those with large groups that there isn't a whole lot of parking (maybe 3 cars +/- ?) and the house is adjacent to Hwy 34 (which gets a lot of traffic - but much of Jaco is situated along there as well). The bedrooms are kept cool; however, the main (common area) is not airconditioned, so if someone has a hard time with the humidity & heat then keep that in mind. The home is adjacent to Club Del Mar - a Great Place to eat, whenever you feel like dining out! We were very happy with our stay and would recommend this home and its owners.

The house was great, the owners were thoughtful and helpful and patient with all our questions, the staff onsite was so helpful, the tours were fun, the ocean was incredible—we had the best time. Highly recommend the monkey tour, and the ATV tour. And really really recommend having the chefs/cooks come prepare meals for your group - it allowed us to relax and enjoy ourselves and the food was amazing. Ask Marta to help you spot the sloth that lives on the property! We had a group of 7 and all 7 of us had the time of our lives.

Joya del Pacifica is the perfect house for large groups. It has an amazing ability to sleep 14 comfortably, yet with an unusual amount of privacy. Plus there are multiple areas outside where one can find a quiet place to read, etc. Only inches away, the ocean provides a steady soundtrack keeping any stress at bay. The staff is wonderful, and spoiled us rotten. Marta, Pablo and Fabian took care of every detail happily. Jen and Mike Wycocki are a pleasure to work with. Our gang was all ages and sizes but everyone totally enjoyed themselves, and loved their stays.

Perfect House! Perfect view! Perfect soft sandy beach right out the back gate! We could not have asked for a more perfect house and location for our whole family to fall in love with Costa🌴Rica🐒. Our family was 9 in all (2-Parents, 5-Adult Sons & Daughters and 2-young Grandsons) but house can easily accommodate more. The staff, housekeeping and security were phenomenal!! They are eager to help in any way possible!! Brush up on your Spanish and get a Translator app before you go to make life a little easier. Cali, their local surf instructor is Amazing! He’s fabulous with kids! We all Loved him! Our grandsons (ages: 5 & 7) got up on boards right away and surfed for hours!! The Property Manager was very accommodating!! He booked our tours; Monkey Tour and Fishing Tour, along with transportation, and our magnificent massages!! So nice that we got them twice!! The Only critique: all porcelain tile floors (normal for tropics) throughout the house, showers, patio and lanai are extremely slippery. We had several falls - one concussion - No joke - You have to be extremely careful. We took a vote and it is our Favorite Family Vacation by far!! Can’t wait to go back!!!

This 5BR Jaco beach front property has it all, great location with full feature quality home that has around the clock caretaker and offsite manager that help with daily requests for taxis and event planning such as fishing tours, horseback riding, rain forest tours, zip lining etc…

Such an AMAZING property! Great fun for bachelor parties. Everything was super clean and safe. The property owner was very nice and informative. El Tigre is the man! Truly had a great time and would absolutely go back.

Dealing w Jen was easy and between her and her house manager Fabian everything was taken care of and all questions were answered. The house was in an incredible location. And I highly recommend asking Jen about getting Marisol and her daughter Flor to cook for you - if not all then definitely some of your meals.

Excellent communication with the owner who helped us to navigate all the finer points of traveling during COVID and with a list of activities, restaurants and chefs. Fabian is your transport guy and having Marisol cook on arrival day is key! She also cooked us a great brunch for after surfing! If you are wanting to learn to surf, this is the place! Tigre and Gilbert of Tigre's Bob Marley Surf School is The Best! They began instruction on our back patio and we walked right out the back gate to the ocean and ages 17 to 50+ were all successful! The only negative is that a lot of loud trucks pass on the road on the back side of the house and the appliances are needing updated. - the dishwasher doesn't work, stovetop heats wonky, grill overheats and only the top coil heats on the countertop oven. Fortunately Marta is there daily to help keep all clean! Also most want to be paid in cash/dollars so bring a lot more than you think you need (plus tips for many). There is an ATM in Mas por Menos grocery (excellent place to shop) that gives you dollars but that was $10 in fees per several chunks of money withdrawn. Downtown Jaco is easy to get to with many great restaurants! You will love it!

Jen, my only complaint was the refrigerator/freezer in the kitchen wasn't working properly. The ice-maker never seemed to produce ice like should, and the refrigerator portion didn't keep the beverages very cold. We did notice on the freezer side, that isn't wasn't sealing properly when the door was shut, so water was leaking out of the bottom. I would definitely look into getting someone out there to do a routine maintenance and look over the entire unit. Other than that, we had a great time. The on-site staff were very accommodating when we needed something, and the location was perfect! The general consensus from all the guys, is they would definitely come back. We had great time! We were a family of 10, ranging in age from 72 to 2 and stayed November 23-30, 2019. This is a beautiful property exactly as described and even more impressive when you actually are there. Marta and Pablo were wonderful, especially to my grandchildren. We had Marisol prepare two dinners, our first night and after a long day at Manuel Antonio park. Both meals were exceptional, especially the salad the first night, and it was great to arrive tired and not have to worry about meal preparation. Having the ocean steps from the house made it easy to swim every day! I would highly recommend Joya de Pacifico for any large group and especially for families.

House is great. Bathrooms are all updated, beds are comfortable, and kitchen is well equipped. So well equipped we actually choose to prepare our dinners at the house as opposed to going out. Wonderful view of Jaco Beach. Will stay here again.

Our experience was nothing short of absolute perfection while staying in Jaco! The house, staff, amenities, and extras were everything and more than we could have ever wanted. We had surfboard brought strait to the house, excursions arranged with ease, and were able to enjoy a stress free and wonderful vacation every minute of the trip! Every single detail was taken care of with extreme professionalism and kindness. Having stayed in MANY luxury vacation homes around the world, this location has easily placed itself among the best options out there! Jen and Mike are the PERFECT people to book your trip with. Every detail and service they offered was nothing short of top quality and we’ve never felt soo at home in a place so far from London. Pablo, Martha, Fabian And Vlad we’re superstars and looked after us like one of their own. Chef Pablo provided us with a wonderful meal and the villa was nothing short of spectacular! I stayed here with my family of 9 for Christmas 2018. I cannot recommend this enough! Jen was fabulous! She was like our own private concierge! She really went over and above to make sure we had a wonderful time. She helped with planning all our activities, I feel like she knows everyone in Jaco! And they all love her! The staff was wonderful. The house is literally right on the beach! The bedrooms were spacious and all air conditioned. Jen also hooked us up with a private chef, Jimmy T., we loved him! And would highly recommend. For the activities we did: my niece took surfing lessons and loved it, the waves are no joke! She came back exhausted! Massages at the house were heavenly! The whole family went zip lining! White water rafting was incredible, definitely a must! Horseback riding that ended at Backyard Bar to watch a surf contest. The monkey farm was awesome, amazing to have them come right up to you and jump on your shoulder! Love! We even went to the casino and into town for some shopping. The house staff was great about calling taxis for us. We always felt very safe, especially with Paolo there keeping watch over the property. Jen, my sincere thanks for everything! It’s so wonderful to arrive at a someplace you booked online and have it be exactly as advertised!

Amazing property. Last house on the beach. Impeccably maintained. Staff very courteous and helpful. Close a couple restaurants and bars. 5 minutes away via taxi to downtown area. Rooms are very spacious. Facilities all work. Pictures are accurate. Would stay again.

We are returning guests. We loved it so much last time that we had to return and it was just as amazing if not better this time around! This place is the ultimate private beach house with amazing views. The house is very spacious with beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms. The outside pool and lounging areas are ideal for relaxation and catching some rays. I loved that the beach is footsteps away Literally! Perfect for groups of friends or families. Many amenetities and so many adventures and fun things to do in Jaco! The host and staff are extremely accommodating and friendly and make your trip stress free! Will definitely be back AGAIN!

We stayed at this beautiful house for a week and we don't have enough words to describe how amazing and incredible it was, beginning with the owner Jen who was very generous, helpful and accommodating and ending with the house staff whom are very kind and lovely people. The house is extremely beautiful and well kept, with and amazing view of the whole Jaco Beach Bay that included a breath taking view of the sunset. The location couldn't be any more perfect since you are literally on the sand, just step out of the back gate and take 20 steps and your feet are wet. We could't be happier with our stay and would very much recommend this house over any other property I've ever stayed in.

This house offers all that you could ever want from spacious bedrooms, to a 24hr staff that will help make your stay more enjoyable, worry free and overall one of the best experiences available in CR. Pura Vida...we'll be back!

I organized a “guys” trip this fall. We had 9 males total. The location is perfect. As close to the ocean as you can get. The town of Jaco is close, but not too close. A 5 minute taxi ride away. The house had plenty of room and was well appointed. Open floor plan and you can see the ocean from everywhere. There’s lots to do or not do, depending on your preference. I wanted to surf and the owners arranged to have surf boards delivered to and from the house. Some in our group did an ATV tour and went fishing. Some stayed and relaxed at the house, since sitting on the patio is like being at the beach. We stayed four nights. Through the owners, we arranged to have a chef prepare our meals for three of the nights. The food was outstanding. They bring the food, set up, prepare, serve and clean up. It includes appetizers, main course, sides and dessert. Ended up costing $200 per person but soooo worth it. A maid and night security guard come with the house. They were very nice and helpful, but not instrusive at all. Great place to spend time with friends. Would definitely go back!

Where to start with this place. First the property owners are the very best you will find. Jen was always available and helped with everything we needed. The house was by far the most beautiful on the entire beach. We had 9 guys for a bachelor party and every single guy left saying it was the trip of a lifetime. If you are thinking about booking a place in Jaco do yourself a favor and go with this place. You will not be disappointed!

The listing description was accurate. Everything stated about this awesome place was understated. The place was gorgeous with a small swimming pool, but deep in the middle. My grandchildren enjoyed jumping from waterfall into the pool. They spent most of day in the pool. The owner set us up for excursions. The people were so nice and came to house to discuss excursion or we were given name of person to call. We were right on beach. almost in ocean. Marta and Pablo were wonderful. The house was always clean and Pablo was there at night. I felt right at home. I would tell anyone if they are going to Jaco they could not find a more awesome place to stay. I hope I will be able to go back next year and I would never stay anywhere else than there. The owners are so nice and very patient with me concerning the questions I ask and Jan was quick to answer them. I just cannot say enough about where we stayed. I would recommend it to anyone and they would have a beautiful home right there on the beach. There were 12 of us and we were very comfortable with more than enough room. There is a fitness room, but you will want to be outside having a great time.

Great location for our extended family. Enough personal space for everyone and a large central gathering area for the whole family. Something for everyone in our group of 6 adults and 6 children ages 9 to 70. Booking of excursions with Jen and Mikes friend Vlad is a must. Super easy and the service was excellent. The views of the beach and bay were quite rewarding and the waves were always a blast for all. Pura Vida
