The woman in charge of this BandB refused me entry on the second day of my stay because of a coffee stain on the carpet in my bedroom of which I was totally unaware. I had no other place to stay and ended up sleeping in my car. To be avoided like the plague.

The location was superb. I was going to an event at Audley End and it was only a short drive away. The journey to and from the accommodation was scenic countryside all around and very quiet. The occasional plane going overhead did not disturb my sleep at all. Juliette is an absolutely delightful host and did everything she could to make my stay comfortable and welcoming. My breakfast was absolutely delicious and I’m not sure how she managed such tasty scrambled eggs, but mine never taste as good as that! I would not hesitate to stay here again, should the need arise.

The host was amazing, thank you Juliet for a great breakfast and help with accommodation, definitely visit this fabulous place again! Breakfast from 6:00am! Excellent place with double and single rooms where mainly you have all the floor for yourself and no need to share the bathroom.

It is hard to find anything, maybe that check in is until 8:30 and showers by 10pm, but it is understandable and actually I like it.

A warm welcome from a very friendly host. Lovely quiet countryside location. My room was very pleasant , en suite all worked very well. Delicious breakfast with pleasant chats to Juliette. Loved the handmade soaps. The location was ideal as a starting point to fly from Stansted - only 20 minutes from the airport so perfect for an early flight. I shall recommend 1 pelham grove to any of my family and friends flying from Stansted!!

Juliette is the perfect hostess and will do her upmost to make sure your stay is comfortable. Her house is exceptionally clean and the beds are very comfortable. I will definitely be booking again and will definitely make it my place to stay when I'm working in that area. I also felt I've made a new friend in Juliette whilst staying with her, I enjoyed our chats over a coffee once I'd finished my days work. Looking forward to my return.

Juliette was very friendly and and went out of her way to make me feel welcome in her lovely home. The bed was really comfortable and I really enjoyed using her beautiful hand-made soap.

A bedside lamp could have been useful, but the fact that there wasn't one didn't significantly affect the enjoyment of my stay.

Absolutely wonderful place. Juliette is a friendly, polite and hardworking person. It was very clean, spotless and I felt very comfortable. I am amazed with how clean the place was. I really enjoyed the breakfast. I highly recommend.

All very new furnishings and decorations. Spotlessly clean. Luxurious bed linen and mattress. Excellent home cooked breakfast.

Room was not en-suite, however this was reflected in the price and not in any way inconvenient.

Clean, well presented, quiet! Lovely room with a bed so comfortable that I was asleep so quickly don’t remember even getting into it! Breakfast was served by the owner who was a delight to talk to, I wish I could have stayed longer to chat but maybe another time…
