Had a great stay at this spacious apartment. All spotless and accurate to the listing. We were in Madrid during a heatwave so the air conditioning was much appreciated. We didn’t use the kitchen much as we ate out as there are some great restaurants nearby. Although the apartment is on a busy street, all the rooms are at the rear so are quiet. The exterior blinds give total blackout for sleeping at night. The security in the building, especially at night, is excellent. We were really pleased we chose this apartment for our stay and we would recommend it.

Lovely and well appointed flat.

We loved our stay in Carlos' apartment for all of the reasons listed in other reviews. Especially loved the central location on Gran Via and the fact that the apartment backs up to a quiet street so doesn't have the street noise of Gran Via. Carlos was an incredibly responsive and flexible host -- really appreciated that he allowed us to check in early and check out late. The apartment itself is spacious -- we loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom to use (one not ensuite). One thing to note -- although the terrace is lovely, it's south-facing and bakes in the afternoon sun even with the shade open. It's not really usable in the summer months except maybe for a morning coffee. We also would've liked the kitchen to be a little better stocked -- it has limited bowls, cutting boards, serving dishes, small glasses -- esp for two families. Otherwise this is a perfect base in Madrid!

Really nice place in a great location. Blackout shutters in the rooms and comfortable beds. Easy to talk to the host.

Great property amazing apartment a perfect location

We had five days and four nights to explore the sights and culture of Madrid in convenience and comfort. Apt was well appointed and convenient to everything City Center. We were surprised at how quiet it was in the heart of the city. Carlos was an exceptional host! Great communication and addressed all questions and needs in a timely manner. Would choose this property again.

We booked this for our family of 4 and there was plenty of room for everyone. The place was clean, east to check in and was in walking distance to all the tourist sights. Plenty of supermarkets and food and shopping were all in walking distance.
