This place is everything advertised. Home is clean, pool area is very nice. All the bedrooms have a full size connected bathroom. Well stocked for cooking at home. Great location for walking to shopping and resort area. Walk to the beach. Owners are excellent to work with and the communications are second to none. Will stay again

Nice property

We traveled with our family of 5 and another family of 5 - 6 teenage kids. This property was outstanding. Perfect location and the perfect size for all of us! The pool and outside area exceeded expectations and everything was well stocked. It was so nice to have beach chairs and coolers as well. The owners were so lovely and met us there upon check in. It was an incredible week!

This is a beautiful 4 bedroom w/ 4 en-suite bathroom home which was perfect for our group. Extremely clean, with great amenities. There is a gorgeous patio pool and a large palapa with large table to enjoy meals outside. Peter and Maria are very nice Hosts and met us on arrival. If I had to “complain” about one little thing it would be, there are only one set of towels (bath towel, hand towel and wash cloth) per person available. We were there for a week. I was not willing to spend one minute washing/drying laundry, although there is a washer/dryer on site. I did bring extra of my own, but other group members did not. I will not hesitate to come back to this property. I would rate a 10 out of 10 for sure!

We had a wonderful time. The property owners were very accommodating. This property was perfect for my husband's 60th birthday celebration with family. Great location.

We just returned from a week at Bakval. The house is exactly as pictured and had everything that we needed. It was close to beaches and restaurants. We rented a car which in my opinion is necessary in order to explore the island freely. Check in was simple and Maria was very responsive when we asked questions. The property is great for couples and families. We were 3 couples traveling together and each bedroom had its own private bath. Pool area was great for hanging out after a long day at the beach. We didn't cook in much but everything you need is there. Loved Bakval and would stay there again!

Great experience - great house - great island Maria + Peter’s house was the perfect setting for our family vacation. Meticulously clean. Very Spacious with every amenity need for a week’s stay.. It was exactly as the described and pictured. Some minor glitches (as expected for a home of this size) but Maria was extremely responsive and fixed everything very quickly. Loved every minute at this property! Peter and Maria went above and beyond building and outfitting a perfect getaway while still being close to anything you could ever want to do in Aruba. The house was perfect for our family of 5, everyone had their own room and separate bath. The layout was wonderful and the home was perfectly supplied. The pool was amazing and we enjoyed the outdoor seating for meals and games daily. The location is within walking distance of great restaurants and beaches while also being a short drive to most other attractions. We loved this home and our week in Aruba!

Good location

The location, pool, outdoor space, layout of the house and amenities were fantastic. Very convenient to several beaches, dining and shopping. We had everything we needed and more. The large outdoor table and chairs under a large palapa by the pool made our breakfasts and dinners at the house very enjoyable. The 4 children in our group (ages 9-13) loved the pool. Peter and Maria were great. We would love to stay here again!

Great location, layout and space for a large group. Communication with Maria was easy as she was very responsive. We hope to stay here again in the future.

We stayed with another family of 4 and the accommodations were perfect. House is stocked with anything you might need to cook meals there or go to the beach. Hosts were great to work with and so helpful to anything you might need. We will definitely go back!

This beautiful property suited our group of 10 perfectly, with each couple having their own bedroom & bathroom with the wonderful guest house. Notes from our stay: House is immaculate & fully stocked with kitchen essentials. Both bath & beach towels provided for each bedroom are large & thick. Having 10 Tommy Bahama beach chairs was a fantastic bonus to our group. There were a few pool/ocean noodles, which were appreciated. Pack throw away floats if you like to float, very calm water! Can also rent floats at the hotels on beach. P towels, trash bags, dishw tabs, coffee filters, T paper, hand & dish soap all provided. Ice maker not working, but we bought large bags of ice for freezer, which we would have needed anyway. Water is filtered & drinkable from sink. A/C works well. Selection of spices provided for cooking, although we only ate breakfast & lunch there. We never turned on any of the TVs (wanted to escape from the news!). Outside pool and palapa area was enjoyed frequently. Beds & pillows were all comfortable. Our only negative was the occasional cold showers, which would be expected for 10 people in one home if we didn't time it right. We got our groceries from Super Foods, which also delivers but must plan ahead. We ordered online before the trip & picked up when we arrived. Not seamless upon arrival, but worked ok. We rented a 10 passenger minivan for our group, which for us was a critical item. Walk to Palm Beach is very short, flat & easy...& a lot of our group did it daily, while others drove and parked at the Ritz Carlton (free parking everywhere) However to get to the other beaches you need to drive or call a taxi. Visited Arashi & Eagle beaches- all 3 of these beaches were gorgeous & had lounge & umbrella rentals if desired, plus beach bars w/ food options. Plenty of watersport rentals everywhere. The ocean is pristine w/ zero seaweed and bright blue, clear ocean water. We enjoyed a catamaran trip & an ATV excursion. The ATV/jeep excursion was our group's fave activity of the week, seeing the other side of the island with it's gorgeous water on the cliffs & other fun activities. Ate at Flying Fish which came highly recommended by friends & did not disappoint! Gorgeous setting on water, beautiful at night, fantastic food. Other meals were at beach bars on the water, which were fun & lively for our 8 kids, aged 19-28. Airport is small & very easy to navigate, quick in & out. We loved everything about Aruba & this VRBO property!

Had a wonderful vacation in Bakval. House was as lovely as the pictures. Lots of little extras like beach chairs and coolers that made it so easy . Maria was very responsive to all my questions and never steered us wrong with recommendations Wish we could have stayed longer Can't wait to return.

My family and I had the most beautiful and comfortable stay at this gorgeous, modern villa. We were a family of nine and it was spacious and airy, clean and well equipped for us all. The villa is far more beautiful in person and within close proximity of hotels and beaches. Our host, Maria, was very attentive and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. The pool is spectacular and beautifully lit at night. The palapa is fantastic, well lit and holds a large amount of people for outdoor eating and late night games. We felt very safe and loved our time in Aruba. We enjoyed every inch of this villa and would definitely book it again for a family vacation.

We heard great things from friends and family members about the island of Aruba... the accommodation and the location couldn't have been better, the perfect amount of space and not too close to all of the hotels and not too far from several beaches. Maria and Peter, the owners were outstanding!!

Perfect location; just a short walk to shopping, restaurants and beach. Nice, very clean and well maintained private villa with pool to relax, but close enough to tourist area if you want to get out. We had everything we needed.

Maria & Peter were great host before & during our stay. Maria would reply to messages quickly & helped us with vehicle rentals. She offered to help with more but I couldn’t herd the cats to book more. Peter was very generous with his time helping us get our bearings. Every time we reached out the response was quick & helpful. Other than that we didn’t see them. The privacy was great. Kitchen has everything you generally would need (I wish I had a muddler). House is a great room with 4 suites & a separate stand alone suite (I stayed here & loved the separation). Location is 10-15 walk to some of the best beaches I’ve ever seen (I’ve seen a lot). We had Jeep’s but also rented mountain bikes. We rented for 24 hours (next trip will be all week). We enjoyed cycling to the beach & up to California Lighthouse & the backcountry around it. If you’re more interested in nightlife maybe you would prefer a little farther south. 5 en-suite bedrooms fit our group perfectly. It’s nice at our ages ~35-51 to not have to sleep in a room set up for kids. Pool is an oasis with a lot of plants & a great covered area with a large table. The roof kept us all dry in what seemed to be daily 10 minute occurrences (apparently not the norm). Great hosts, great house, great area. Loved it

This home met our expectations and then some. New home that was designed with great ideas to make our 5 couple stay both relaxing and comfortable. Enjoyed spending time outdoors with large covered area and pool. Faux turf area in the back was perfect for daily yoga. Would love to return to this retreat.

We were a family of 5 and we really enjoyed the villa. It is very Well laid out with a beautiful pool and outdoor space. Our one suggestion is to have an indoor and outdoor sound system to enjoy music both inside and out.

Amazing property with pool and large outdoor gathering area. Lots if towels and amenities. Kitchen was well stocked. 5 queen beds with all bathrooms make large groups easy and fun. Internet and TV works great. A/C works great. Easy access with car to all the beaches. Easy cab pick up location for ride to local night spots. We can’t wait to go back to Aruba!

Getting there at first was a little difficult only because we did not understand the direction but we made it. The house was beautiful and we truly enjoyed it. House was large and very clean it is closely located to any activity that you seek. If you are a walker just be ware to wear proper shoes, sidewalks are a little rough. but the house is close to dining, shopping and beaches. You will truly enjoy this house, pool is great.

We just finished up our stay at Bakval2 and had a blast. This was our first trip to Aruba and will come back for sure. The house is in a prime location at the north side of the island close to the Marriott and Ritz. Lots of space inside with the 4 bedrooms and large open living, kitchen and dining area. The backyard is big and well maintained. The pool was very clean and well maintained. Peter and Maria live close and were available any time of day for questions or help navigating around the island looking for fun or great food. Peter was kind enough to give us a fast tour of the hotel zone where most of the food and entertainment is. The house includes two coolers and beach chairs where you can hop in a car and visit multiple public beaches. We left some snorkel gear and two durable beach umbrellas for guests to enjoy. We highly suggest doing the UTV tour around the island and arrive early because it will take an entire day to see most things. Maria helped us coordinate a Jeep rental for our week there and it was a necessity because we were constantly going around the island visiting new places and trying all the food we could eat. Thank you Maria and Peter for a great time and we will see you again in 2020. We might even become neighbors at some point :) Thanks again, Jeff & Heidi

We arrived and from that moment on we felt right at home . Peter and Maria are so accommodating and nice . The house is spacious with all the comforts of home . The 4 bedrooms in the main house are spacious and simply beautiful . The bedroom off the pool was perfect . The house came with magnificent pool and waterfall and a grill off the side which we used numerous times . Palm Beach Noord is easily accessible to all the islands attractions but away from the hustle and bustle . We did the atv tour and the catamaran afternoon snorkeling trip and were very pleased . There were 10 of us and we had plenty of room and would definitely rent from Maria and Peter again . If you are planning a trip to Aruba I would highly recommend Bakval 2 , the mansion that Peter and Maria built . Thanks so much for a wonderful week .

This house has everything that you could possibly need and more! There were four couples in our group and we stayed for six nights. The house provided privacy if anyone wanted to chill out on their own. We spent many hours chatting, eating and drinking lots of wine under the palapa. Pete and Maria were great giving us suggestions on restaurants and even arranged our rental cars and UTVs. There were lots of beach chairs and coolers to use to take to the beach. The location was great but you should rent a car to get to the beaches and grocery stores. I highly recommend this villa and have already passed the link onto friends that are looking to go to Aruba!

This home instantly makes you feel at home. It’s beautiful, new, clean, has an amazing atmosphere. The location is very convenient, close to beach, Casinos, bars, restaurants and supermarkets. The inside kitchen will make you think twice about going out for dinner. The outside pool and seating areas are so pretty and relaxing. My wife and our family can’t wait to go back again in 2019.
