The staff was friendly and responsive. The only disappointment was there was hardly any water pressure in the showers. It was easier for those of us with lots of hair to wash our hair in the bathroom sink as the pressure there was sufficient. Just not the ideal method for long hair washing.

Beautiful cared for three bedroom bungalow. Close to restaurants, town, and market. Just steps away from beachfront, pool, hammock, kayaks, and dock. Caretakers so friendly and will take care of any requests. Love it!

We had a great time at Barbara’s Beach house. Watching the sunset on the Pier in the morning was awesome. We enjoyed the pool daily. Our only complaint was how warm the upstairs bathroom was, not sure if a fan would help out not. Would sweat as soon as you got out of the shower. Love the location.

This was a beautiful location with a nice dock with chairs to relax on. It was away from the busy part of the island. If you fly in, you can walk to it easily. We took the water taxi and then there are golf cart taxis ready to take you to the location. We really appreciated the kayak and paddle boards available and the attentive staff was very helpful.

Beautiful accommodations the perfect distance from the hustle and bustle on Front St. Caye Caulker. Spotless home, extraordinary staff and property manager, ocean views and a pool. We couldn't ask for more. The only thing we need to ask is when can we go back!

We stayed at Barbaras’s Beach House for our (mostly) adult family Christmas vacation. It was the perfect place for our group of five. The house had everything we needed for our week long stay. The pool is shared with another house managed by the property. We spent a bit of time around the pool had a good time chatting with the other family, sharing our adventures and dining experiences. The three bedrooms had four beds, a queen, a double and two twins. The location is towards the south end of Caye Caulker, pretty close to the airport. We liked being away from the center of town and we were only a few minutes from the closest grocery store, probably 10-15 minute walk from the town center. For transportation we did a combination of walking, renting bicycles and taking the golf cart taxis. A taxi ride to the restaurant Swings was BZ $20 and to the Split was BZ $25. We got the WhatsApp numbers for a couple cab drivers and would text them for rides when we needed them. The sand fleas were attracted to a few of us, I’d recommend bringing bug spray with at least 25% deet, however you can easily find it in the grocery stores.

Third time staying with VeLento properties. Barbara’s Beach House was perfect for our last minute family getaway.

The highlight of this house for my kids was the pier with the lounge chairs on it. My teenagers enjoyed lounging in the sun and taking quick dips in the ocean and my 10 year old son spent the entirety of our time here fishing off the pier. Helpful hint, buy bait fish at the place you can feed the tarpon. He caught so many fish, and it really made his vacation! The pool is nice as is the deck in front of the house with the chairs and hammocks. The house in comfortable and big enough for a family of 5 to spread out. It was clean and quiet. Weezie's next door is super convenient for a quick lunch or breakfast if you don't feel like cooking, but it would be easy enough to cook in the well stocked kitchen. Great place to stay, would stay again and would recommend.

The original location had gorgeous wood throughout, pool, nice porch , but the second location had spectacular porch with wide open views of the ocean and was even more spacious, so I'd say that was hard to beat. Both places were wonderful. Will come again. Hard part was figuring out who to leave the tips with, as I left before the office was open, so I hope they got to the right people.

randy was very accomodating and friendly. the location was great; close to town via the beach bike path but far enough out to be very quiet. the kids loved having a pool right out the front door. the home was very clean and the hardwoods were beautiful. don't forget to grab some cooking oil, we found that was about the only thing we were missing.

The pool and porch are just outside of Weezies which is convenient to grab a beer or eat at their cafe. The house looks just like the photos, the layout is good for groups and the interior is clean and comfortable with air conditioning in each space. The pool is wonderful to have right out the front door, it is shared with the neighboring house but there is plenty of room to feel private. We spent our evenings and mornings on the front deck and jumped off the beautiful palapa while star gazing at night. We suggest grabbing a bike from the manager when you arrive, we biked around the whole island a few times, its the best way to experience Caye Caulker. The location is outside the main strip so it feels quiet yet the island is so small you have everything easily accessible. We will be back!

We had a good time! The house was nice and peaceful! The only downside is internet went down but they were trying to fix it! Over all a good trip!

The entire Belize experience was amazing. Barbara’s beach house on Caye Caulker was amazing. The property manager took great care of us and made some great recommendations of activities and restaurants. They went as far as to set up the activities for us which made our visit that more enjoyable without the stress planning. This will definitely be a return destination.
