Beautiful home with unparalleled view of Lake Superior! So spacious and lots of clean bedrooms and bathrooms. Amazing outdoor space to enjoy the weather and the view. The host is so friendly, helpful and responsive. Hope to stay again someday!

Beautiful home! Sunrises, porch time, relaxation, perfect family getaway. Location is excellent. Very clean, spacious, all the essentials were provided, easy to arrive and do nothing more. We loved walking down by the water and getting our toes wet in the water. The weather was VERY hot when we visited, it was our fault for not realizing there was no AC. But there are a couple fans. We won’t hesitate to stay here again, everything was excellent! Owner was very responsive, excellent communication .

My family stayed at this property for the 4th of July 2024. We were able to enjoy a lot of family time. From smores on the campfire, puzzles at the table, meals cooked in the kitchen and game night around the table, my family enjoyed their time together. The house was easily large enough to house the 6 adults that attended, and we are talking about doing this again next year.

The house is BEAUTIFUL! The view of Lake Superior is SPECTACULAR!! That said, the living room sectional needs replacing BADLY!!! The mattresses is all the bedrooms are getting very soft & worn out. There are several spots on the hardwood floor by the half bath that needs serious attention. Those spots have gotten worse in the 5 times we've rented this home. I can't believe they haven't been repaired. A serious tripping hazard.

Our family of seven stayed at the property on the north shore for a week. We found the property to be as shown in the photos - beautiful, comfortable and inviting. The highlight for us was the screened in porch. We were able to sit outside and enjoy the spectacular view without the mosquitos. Everything was clean and in working order. The owner was very helpful and responsive. In short, a wonderful vacation!

This was a second stay for us at this lovely home: 5 adults and 2 kids 6 and 4 years. They loved their own special kid bed and futon bed upstairs. Plenty of space for all with thoughtful layout. We ate all meals in and the kitchen is well equipped. The big draw of course is the view from the home and decks. Spectacular!! Great for bird watching too. We hope to return to this rental again.

Idyllic property on idyllic Lake Superior. Unfortunately did not get to take advantage of the property as much as I’d like! We will be back!

This house is perfect! Everything was clean and orderly! We thoroughly enjoyed the views throughout the house! We loved the screened in porch and decks as well as the fire pit and shoreline! We look forward to our next stay😊

Perfect long weekend with extended family!

Perfect home and location for a family holiday gathering (we had 8 adults). Interior is spacious, and the kitchen worked well for making the big meal. Beautiful view right on the lake. The outside deck and 3 season porch looked like they would be great for a warm weather trip. Great hiking/walking right from the house, with Split Rock and Gooseberry a few minutes way. Joe (host) was very responsive and helpful. A great place!

The home was as we expected, spacious and, comfortable. The location was perfect with a trail to the water and firepit. The view was amazing. The host responded quickly. There was some water issues the host was not aware of and will be addressed. We hope to come back.

The house is large enough to accommodate eight adults with common spaces that encourage conversation. The views of the Lake are breathtaking and the porches get you close to the Lake’s action. Overall, the house is well-equipped in terms of linens, kitchen, and amenities. The hosts are amazingly responsive and helpful.

This was our 3rd stay at On The Waters Inn in 5 years. It’s a great property. Flawless experience every time. I would recommend as a basecamp for exploring the N Shore. We will be back!

My group of friends has stayed at this beautiful property for several years now, and continue to enjoy it. Comfortable beds, lovely setting, well-stocked kitchen, and excellent communications with the owner made for a hassle-free getaway. We're already looking firward to returning next year.

This is the perfect spot for a reunion. The house is large. It can accommodate a large number of people. There are several areas where you can sit to enjoy smaller conversations, and a large room where you can visit. Oh, the view is spectacular. The house is about 15 miles north of Two Harbors making for a quiet spot away from any towns. Betty’s Pies is about 10 miles away. It is a must lunch and pie spot.

We are a group of five friends who vacation together every year. This is one of the best places we’ve stayed. It’s spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and well appointed with everything we needed. We loved the location. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home. We look forward to staying again!

We absolutely adored staying at this house! It was right on the gitchi gami trail and loved biking from there everyday. I would highly recommend this house and location as it's about 20 minutes away from Two Harbors and convenient to so many North Shore attractions.

Great stay, the space in the house was perfect for our large group. Beautiful property and close to many things. Was expecting more yard space based on the pictures but the driveway and front yard had plenty of space for the kids to play catch with a football and to play some corn hole. Great host too. Fun time!

We loved the location of this home. Great state parks within a few miles. The paved trail at the end of the driveway was a plus for bike rides and stroller walks. It was the perfect place for our growing family to hang out and enjoy the best that the north shore has to offer. A wonderful property that included everything we were looking for.

Beautiful location & views. Somewhat dated house. Living room features one sectional sofa that’s fairly worn out and difficult to get out of. There’s no coffee table to put drinks or books etc upon. We had the unfortunate experience of having the central smoke alarms all go off in the middle of our last night for no apparent reason which really impeded everyone’s sleep. We appreciated the hybrid grill and overall a very nice rental.

Clean, very well laid out perfect for our family. Two families of 4& Gram & Gramps! Lots of activities nearby, hiking, biking & nature areas.

We came for a family vacation. The home was perfect for us. Perfect distance to Gooseberry Falls, Split Rock Light House and Northshore Adventure. Appreciated the privacy and beauty of the home.

The location is ideal. Situated between Gooseberry Falls and Split Rock Lighthouse, while being close to two harbors. We were a group of 8 college friends in our 60s. So having the two king size beds and the two queens were perfect. Everyone had privacy, yet the common areas are large and spacious. Top end appliances and the kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed as we cooked every meal at the house. Our only minor disappointment was that the firepit area has been taken over by the foliage so it wasn't as inviting as the pictures portray it to be. But again, this is VERY MINOR and my rating is 6 stars out of 5!!!!

Woke up to the vast beauty of Lake Superior each day. Close to Gooseberry and Split Rock. Walked to the Pink Beach. The house accommodated all 8 of us plus a baby. Fully equipped and comfortable with cool fire pit.

Bachelor party with old friends from college. The house is beautiful and view of the lake is spectacular. A very short drive to Split Rock lighthouse and Gooseberry Falls. Everything was lovely!

Absolutely perfect for our spring family trip with 6 adults and 2 very young kids. Cabin was loaded with everything we needed and was gorgeous and well kept. Beautiful location on the lake and great communication. Could not have been any better!

The pictures did not do this listing justice. It was beautiful and well maintained. We loved the openness of the main living area. Perfect for a gathering of people to hang out, talk and play games. Hoping we can go back and use the outdoor areas when it is warmer!

We had a wonderful 8 days at this North Shore gem. House is great, very clean, well supplied with everything you need. It is a great home for families and groups. We biked the trail, hiked the many state parks nearby, visited the nearby restaurants and enjoyed the large deck and views of the lake. It’s a perfect location along the shore. Joe was very accommodating. We look forward to another stay at this wonderful house.
