Really enjoyed the house and location to the beach and shops/restaurants. Victoria made everything very easy and the house was delightfully decorated in an upscale Beachy vibe. Very spacious and cozy at the same time. I would definitely go back again to stay.

We absolutely loved spending Christmas week at this lovely home. Victoria was very accommodating and even decorated the home for us! She also created a lovely little area for my mother to stay, who's 85 years old and could not walk up the steps. Yes...this was a wonderful Christmas for our entire family… thank you!

My family- my husband, my mom, 7 year old, and 1 year old- stayed at the house for the week of Thanksgiving and had an excellent stay. We have rented a number of houses in this particular neighborhood because we love the proximity to West Cliff Drive, Natural Bridges and Wilder Ranch, the beaches, and West Cliff neighborhood dining. The outdoor spaces at the house are really wonderful and my older son loved the swim spa and hot tub. While there is no access to the garage, there was plenty of side yard space for us to safely store our bikes and beach equipment. We would love to return to this property, but with a couple things in mind: 1) the kitchen knives were incredibly dull. We’ll pack a knife or two next time. 2) we’ll bring any spices we think we might use. While the kitchen is stocked with the family’s items, we found ourselves missing some basics like sugar, cinnamon, rosemary, etc. 2) the linens have a strong detergent smell. I ended up buying scent-free detergent to launder the linens because the smell was bothering us. For many people, this will be no big deal. My sister-in-law uses the same detergent and the same smell exists at her house. But for me, it was giving me a headache. If you’re sensitive to smells, I would consider bringing your own linens and pillows. 3) not a big deal for us because we brought all of our own stuff, but don’t count on random beach equipment to use. A lot of rental properties in the area have beach chairs, toys, even bikes, to use. Overall a beautiful home in a great neighborhood and I highly recommend staying here.

This house was beautifully updated, warm and welcoming. Ideal location. Easy to spend time indoors and out. Walking distance to the Westside restaurants (Venus, Bantum). Great communication, lovely stay!

My wife and I stayed here with my Brothers and sisters. The layout is a great way to spend time together or spread out if you want to. There’s even an office my wife was able to use for work. The master suite isvery luxurious. The only downside, and it is very minor, is that there are no closets. There are a couple of small hanging racks so plan accordingly. The host was wonderful and graciously resolved an oversight by VRBO concerning billing.Would stay here again anytime!

This is a very comfortable home close to the coast / beach. The house is nicely decorated with nice touches throughout. The backyard is great for relaxing and sunning. Although the house is updated and clean, the surrounding neighborhood is a mixed bag - the house across the street is dilapidated and there was an abandoned damaged car parked right across the street. It's not a big deal - it's kind of how Santa Cruz is - but just a heads up given the price point....

We loved this dog-friendly house in Santa Cruz. It is peaceful, quiet, incredibly comfortable, and has everything you need to feel like you are in a home away from home. The outdoor area with spa pool and hot tub are fabulous and the location is ideal. We will definitely return.

We had such a perfect trip with our college kids who love to surf. This home is so cozy and beautiful. Fun kitchen to cook meals in and great relaxation spaces. We enjoyed our time so much and will be back!

Our family of six wanted to visit the beach for a few days and celebrate the new year. We found this listing and thought it would work...it was FANTASTIC!! The home is cozy and comfortable. There are two main living areas and an outdoor space that is truly a haven of peace and calm. The kitchen is large and fully equipped. There is a large dining table with a glass fireplace right nearby that was the center of our meals. There is a small office space that gets the morning sun and the bedrooms upstairs are large and comfortable. The ocean is just a block away and there is a beautiful walking place that stretches for miles. You can walk to a lovely grocery store (about 9 blocks), delish coffee store and brewery (I think). It is a wonderful place to relax and we cherished our time there. There is not one thing I would change...so grateful for the hospitality, the charm and the comfort of this great place. PS If you go at Christmas time, expect lovely, cheery decroations! :)

We had a wonderful time in this beautifully decorated home. The spa / swim pool was a huge feature. The location was perfect. The space was very clean. Our teens loved their rooms and lounging in the living room. Victoria was wonderfully responsive and thoughtfully left us some treats. We would love to stay again in the future.

Wonderful beach house with all the comforts of home. Plenty of space both indoors and out. Pool & jacuzzi a big hit with my 12 year old. Located on a quiet street near everything: beach, boardwalk, downtown & costal drive. Highly recommend and will certainly revisit again. Thank you.

Not only is this house beautiful, it is in an ideal location that suited our needs perfectly. We were able to walk or take a short drive to the Boardwalk, Downtown, and many State Beaches. The neighborhood is quiet and offered a nice relaxing environment to come home to. If you are looking for a convenient home base to have for your visit to Santa Cruz, this is it. Also, Vikki is very responsive to any inquiries and a very thoughtful hostess. ;)

We truly loved our week here at this beautiful home equipped with everything you might need! My 20 yo son (who lives here) asked if he could stay with us not only because he wanted to spend time with us but because it reminded him of our home in NJ. The location we found to be ideal between walking to places to eat or walking along Westcliff. Thank you for opening your home to us - it was one of the nicest places we have stayed.

My family loves Santa Cruz - there is something there for all of us (including the dog) and this home was perfect for us. The house is beautifully furnished and comfortable with a great hot tub perfect for warming up after surfing. The location was ideal - just a short walk to the ocean or to Kelly’s for a great morning cup of coffee. Victoria made us feel welcomed and was super responsive when we had questions. We can’t wait to come back and stay again!

Everything was as expected. Great house in a quiet area of town. Walking distance to grocery and restaurants. Really enjoyed the kitchen with lots of seating around it for enjoying time together while cooking. The back yard was beautiful and a nice place to relax after hiking. Hot tub was in need of cleaning when we arrived but that would be the only complaint. Would stay here again.

Excellent rental experience. Victoria (owner) was extremely responsive and surprised us with a lovely welcome basket when we arrived. Home was clean and well stocked with towels, appliances and cooking supplies beyond what we would have expected. Firewood was stocked by the fireplace ready for a cozy evening. Wifi worked well and multiple TVs meant that everyone had access to abundant entertainment. Both the Jacuzzi and the Swimming Spa were great. The neighborhood was quiet and a short walk away from the beach. Grocery shopping and restaurants were a very short drive away (Costco was only about 15 minutes away too). We would recommend Victoria and this property to anyone interested in staying in the Santa Cruz area.

We had a wonderful stay. The house is spacious was perfectly equipped for our group of 4 adults and 2 infants. Victoria was very accommodating and welcoming. The location is perfectly situated between the coast and the West Side precinct (with supermarkets, restaurants, cafes). Highly recommend this place and we would love to stay again.

The perfect place for a vacation in Santa Cruz. Beautiful home, super comfortable beds, great couches and seating throughout the house. High class kitchen with comprehensive sets of cookware and dishes, and very nice appliances. Great fireplace and beautiful yard. Quiet street just a block or so from the ocean. Owner is super helpful and attentive. This home is great in every respect, like model home, not a rental.

I stayed here with my husband, 2 kids, and small dog and everything was absolutely perfect. The house was clean, bright and comfortable- and clearly some artists live here! The kitchen and hot tub were fabulous, the yard was lovely. Our dog enjoyed the short stroll to the beach every morning and evening. We were far enough from the bustle of downtown Santa Cruz to feel relaxed, but just a couple minutes drive from grocery store, surfing lessons, and beaches. Highly recommend and we would love to return!

We felt very at home in this lovely west side house. The space was definitely more than we needed and perfect for when my 22 month grandson and his parents joined us for a couple nights. The owner left a lovely welcome note with a welcome package, and encouraged us to call if we had any questions. I would definitely recommend this house for its proximity to the ocean and the attentive owners.

Place was very nice and comfy for my family. The two living rooms made it nice, not having to change the channel for kids. Backyard was nice to relax and un wind after wandering around Santa Cruz. Very close to the beaches and all other attractions. Thank You for sharing your home.

We went with an extended family group to Santa Cruz, and this house truly felt like home.

My husband, daughter and her classmate stayed with our small dog. The process of renting was smooth, and Victoria answered our email questions within hours. The pictures were true, and house better than the pictures show. Everything is clean, hard surfaces, with an easy flow of space, and plenty of room. The downstairs has a kitchen with up-to-the moment appliances. The TV sets are new and ubiquitous. The outdoors is a small, grassy lawn, perfectly maintained, with a deck and pristine hot tub and surrounded by trees which allow nearly complete privacy. Even the nearby neighbors were welcoming to us. To give you an idea of the owner's kindness and honesty: Victoria found our diabetic test kit, and mailed it to us immediately, gratis. We had an exceptional experience and would definitely like to return.

We stayed there with my wife, 2 kids and my parents. The house is very spacious and very clean. The living room is large, the kitchen is well equipped and has an adjacent 2nd living room. The master bedroom has plenty of space with a bathroom. Kids bedroom could probably fit 4 kids. The house is located few minutes walk from the ocean for nice long walks. We going to the Natural Bridges beach spending our afternoons there. In the evening we were going to the restaurants within walking distance (West end tap, Bantam, Kelly Bakery). The food was yummy for all. There is a very nice supermarket close by as well. Few shops are around and also some wine tasting places. Kids loved it every day. We spent 5 days and could have stayed much longer. Thanks again for the great time.
