Had a lovely stay at Mandy’s property. Great location in a lovely quiet village. Property had everything we needed and the welcome gift of a bottle of wine and some milk was much appreciated. Hopefully back again next year for Burghley.

Beautiful cottage in the country
This place was perfect from the moment you drive up to the moment you step in to the property. It was lovely meeting Tom who was very friendly and showed us round when we first arrived. There are lots of countryside walks from the moment you step out the door which was great for our little dog. There is also a really lovely welcoming pub just a stone throw away. Thanks for a lovely stay Mandy and Tom we will definitely be visiting again.

A very special place to stay
We really enjoyed our week at Manor Stables. The cottage is peaceful, comfortable and cosy, beautifully furnished and superbly equipped. Little corners outside for catching the sun were lovely.....we were blessed with sunshine every day! Freedom to wander round the meadow ,fields and the village from the door was wonderful. Watching the dragonflies at the pond was special!

Cottage had everything we needed in a quiet location . Such a beautiful area for exploring the surrounding villages !!

Manor stables is one of a kind. So homely and so well equipped we could easily live here permanently. Set in a quiet village but still close to local attractions. We give Manor Stables 10 out of10, Probably our favourite home stay ever. We'll done Mandy and Tom

Peace and Quiet in the English Countryside
It was a short stay of 2 days in our travels down the east coast of England. The property was beautiful and inviting, providing a lovely respite after a day of driving. The dogs were no bother and Mini the Shetland welcomed us from the pasture. Lovely stay!

Comfortable, quiet and central for Lincolnshire and Leicestershire attractions
Great hosts (Mandy and Tom) who were there if you wanted them but left you alone otherwise. The Cottage is a very comfortable place to come home to after an exhausting day exploring. It is well set up. Haconby is a very good village with a wonderful pub (thanks Derek) serving good food and ales in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. In summary, Manorstables and Haconby, are all you could ask for in self-catering accommodation, with surrounding attractions.

Peaceful stay in lovely property
Beautifully styled cottage stay. We both had a lovely relaxing stay which was the whole reason for the weekend. The property was the perfect size for two people and would’ve been great for a longer stay, very comfortable and we both slept so well. We used the local pub for a meal out which was reasonably priced basic pub food. We finished the weekend with a trip to Grimsthorpe castle which we would recommend. Only down point was the constant rain. Would definitely visit again!

A pretty cottage in the Lincolnshire Fens
We enjoyed our short stay in Mandy and Tom's beautiful cottage in Haconby.
The cottage was very spacious, comfortable, tastefully furnished, well equipped and located in a tranquil setting near the church. The cottage was well located for visiting the villages, towns and places of interest in the surrounding area.

The attention to detail was second to none, the place has everything!
Absolutely everything was high end spec. Curtains, bedding, crockery! Everything!
We had freshly laid eggs left for us, plus milk & prosecco in the fridge.
Loved the bathroom too and the boiling water Tap was amazing! I want one now! Bed was extremely comfortable

Accommodation was first class, very comfortable, and in a beautiful setting. Very peaceful. Beautifully and tastefully decorated and immaculately clean. Owners very helpful and friendly. We would recommend this to any couple.
