Beautiful home that is well taken care of. The host and property manager were wonderful and great to communicate with. The views are incredible! I highly recommend staying here.

The house was great, with a GREAT view! Had a couple questions & the host replied within 10 min. I definitely recommend & will definitely look to book for future visits!

First off, the view is worth it alone. No matter what the season its bound to be gorgeous. Secondly, Travis was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the weekend. I texted him multiple times and he was always responsive and able to help. Thirdly, the house is just amazing for both small and big groups. It had tons of space and activities for everyone to entertain themselves. Just wish we had more time. As other people mentioned, the driveway is a little tight, but we were able to fit four medium sized cars (two sedans and two hatchbacks) without much inconvenience. The neighbor was also very friendly and helped us in. There is a dishwasher which was super handy when cleaning up and plenty of trash bags/cleaning supplies which made it easy when leaving. The top floor does get a little warm but the bottom two floors were nice and cool so you could escape if needed. Overall everyone was just amazed by the house and everything we had at our disposal for entertainment. Again, just wish we had a week here. Thanks Travis!

This is a very nice place for a group or family. Owner/Host is nice and cooperative. PLENTY of books, movies, & games. Dog run on property is a good addition. Everything in the house works and place is clean. Close to town, lake, & grocery/drug stores. Good place to stay on weekend while town is crowded - go into 'movie room' and watch movies or listen to a concert instead. Go to lake during week and rent a boat. Nice neighborhood to take a walk. You'll like this place!

Used Vrbo app to rent home no issues, multiple emails sent regarding upcoming stay, info to know, etc. Owner communication was good, responded within a 24 hour period. He even called to update us on the areas new crack down on various issues(parking in the street, loud parties, etc) this helped avoid any citations we possibly could have gotten.The home it self if I had to give it an overall wow factor rating 7 out of 10. Great location close to everything. Slept my mixed party of 18(10 adults, 3 teenagers, and 5 children under 10) well. Lots of space, didn't have to worry about people being on top of each other. 2 washer and dryer sets. Bathrooms on every level, spa inside the home, work out station and treadmill had expected useage wear but worked as long as you know how to utilize them. Movie room is a great place to hang out, has a shuffle board as well, couches in there turn into beds, just be ready to bring blankets because it's probably the coldest room in the house. Kitchen provides various small appliances, dishware, large fridge, microwave, double wall oven, gas cooktop. Dinning area had plenty of space and the provided extra folding chairs helped seat almost every one at the table to eat. Parking truly will only hold 3 car, the only way you'll fit 4 is if you all drive mini cooper's or other compact car. We had 2 Audi 4 door sedans and one Dodge Durango space was tight but we fit without being in the street. No yard to play on so plan to find an area if you are looking to play in the snow. Then finally the view from the top level is priceless. Great photo spot.Now why the house isn't a 10 out of 10. The home was built in 1983 and many of the homes items don't look like they have been updated so prepare for that. One shower head drips, one shower caused leaking to level below, pool tables pockets are falling apart, one even allows balls to fall thru. Some windows and sliding doors are hard to open. The fridge smells like fish and overall kitchen cleanliness is questionable, felt like cleaner skipped cleaning that area. Went to use the BBQ and it was dirty even had a dirty plate inside. For the price paid for the weekend one would expect not to have to deal with these type of issues but for what the home is we enjoyed the weekend regardless. Would I go back yes. Just hopefully those issues are addressed and corrected before then.

First thing about this property was that we showed up and the water was not on so we had to reach out and have them turn it on. Once we got there the we found out fridge does not work, the freezer was warmer than a normal fridge would. It didn’t produce any ice, all our food went bad and our birthday cakes we bought causing us to have to buy more food and coolers and ice since the owner couldn’t get anyone to fix it and wouldn’t believe us. We had to spend a significant amount of money on coolers and ice which was extremely frustrating considering how much money we spent per night on this property. On our second night at midnight all the water shut off and we called the owner and left voicemails and texted multiple times to have it turned on and he didn’t reach back out till 8 am to turn it on.Then let’s move onto the bedding situation, the two beds in the movie theater room were off balance, wobbly and unstable. one was missing a leg and the other was missing two legs. The bathrooms on the bottom floor were not clean when we arrived and trash and empty cases of beer were left on the patio downstairs. The owner had previously stressed that we need to clean up after ourselves and take all trash to a dump site however provided no cleaning supplies or trash bags or more than 1 roll of toilet paper roll per bathroom... all of which caused us to spend even more money on basic amenities. The pully system on the gym equipment didn’t work either so both machines were already broken and unusable. The hot tub had a ton of black dirt all around the bottom. We had asked the owner prior to arrival about previous reviews of the house and hot tub being dirty but he reassured it would be thoroughly cleaned and intact. However, it was not at all and previous reviews had proven to be very accurate without any improvement. The patio boards were all loose and coming up and if you are sitting on the bottom deck it sounds like the top deck will fall over you just from people walking on it.The communication from the owner was extremely rude and he wouldn’t believe anything that was said to him and would make up excuses instead of fixing the issue at hand. I highly recommend you do not stay here unless you want awful service and no basic amenities.

Enjoyed our annual trip to Big Bear.

If you go to Big Bear you gotta stay here. There is so much to do that you don't really have to go anywhere. My grandkids enjoyed the pool table and jacuzzi and it is so large that no one felt like they were on top of each other. Will definitely go back. Travis is a gem to work with and answered any concerns immediately.

Home was beautiful And spacious would def book again

Our group absolutely loves staying at this property. We go to Big Bear for Memorial Day every year with a group of 14-20. We have stayed here for the past two years and each stay was perfect. There is a ton of room to accommodate our entire group. Travis, the owner, is the easiest person to work with when it comes to making the reservation. The cabin was clean each time and the kitchen was stocked well with everything needed to cook. This cabin is highly recommended!

Definitely do it again

My friends are I (17 people) stayed at this huge chalet. Everyone love the place and we were able to accommodate us comfortably. We are planning to do this again in the summer. Overall, we were able to take advantage of their theater and watch a movie-like screen experience, played pool, went to the indoor Jacuzzi. The view outside the place was remarkable. And the amenities were all there; as we were able to cook and grill. I would give them a 5, but the only recommendation was to provide more towels to accommodate a huge party and if there were instructions/or a heater to use on the 2nd floor (near the pool table) Overall, it was a great experience at the cost! love this place and would come back again

We had four families enjoying nearby skiing and snow boarding. The Chalet was beautiful with various activities for adults and children throughout the floors. The adults and children enjoyed the indoor jacuzzi, pool table and movie theater room. The owner is very responsive and helpful. Thanks for the memories.

First off, I will start off by saying that it was our fault for not communicating well that our pet sitter bailed. We brought cages to keep our dogs in throughout the time we were there, aside from letting them use the bathroom outside. Now let me get started, for the price we paid for 2 nights and 3 days well over $5000 (during New Year Eve and New year) was not worth it at all. We arrived to the house with pet urine stains all over. It seems like nothing in the house was well maintained or upkept. We booked this with the idea of using the pool table and other amenities inside the house, that were listed in the discription upon booking. The pool table was broken, along with all pool sticks. You would think for the price we paid, the pool stick could at least be replaced. Now, the hot tub water was yellow and had this moldy smell to it, we know it’s inside so the smell of chlorine is suppose to be strong, but not throughout the whole house burning everyone’s eyes upon entry. Now, the balcony, is ridiculous and unsafe, especially for children. Walking on the balcony was loose and squeaky and feels extremely unstable, some of the floor boards were unattached. If you look at all the rails, they were all slated. The room with the bunk beds, one of the bottom bed is unable to pull out due to the closet being in the way. One of the shower has a broken shower head. The grill took forever to even start up, due to it being the way it was rigged up to the gas line. Moving on, we really do see a big potential if this cabin can be fixed up, updated, and new accessories required for the games inside.

We spent Thanksgiving and the weekend at this wonderful luxury chalet with 15 other family members. It is spacious, and the views are breathtaking. The cable for the tv didn't work, which originally concerned us because of all the football games we would miss. In the end it was better, because all the family then participated in the crazy games. We did go to a sports bar for a couple of games, but in the end we really didn't miss not having television, a the theater room was amazing. The young adults watched movies till after 2am each night.

This house really has it all. Hot tub, Shuffle Board, Theater Room, Pool Table, Two decks, and plenty of rooms. We really enjoyed our time here and look forward to visiting again

This house was amazing. My husband, daughter, and I had a great long weekend at the house. We come to Big Bear a few times a year to get away from the city, so we usually spend most of the weekend inside when we rent houses. This was perfect for us! We loved the indoor hot tub - which at first we were worried about, since we'd always stayed in houses with outdoor tubs and we were worried that it might smell chlorine-y in the house. Not at all! And it was such a treat to not have to go out in the cold to go in the hot tub! And the movie theater room was *so* much fun. We watched the new Star Wars movie, Rogue One, and it looked & sounded awesome! We actually brought our Playstation and hooked it up to the surround sound system using the directions that Travis left - it was perfect. :) We played a few games of shuffleboard, too - that was fun! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to prepare some great meals, too. The only super small thing was that there's some loose boards on the deck outside - watch your step, both of us tripped on a board on the deck. But otherwise this place is absolutely great. Would definitely stay here again!

Travis was a great host. The house is well kept, has a ton of space and amazing views. The property is only a few minutes away from the entrance to bear mountain by car so we were able to take a short drive and park up the mountain. We had a group of 14 people and we had room for everyone. We spent most of our time in the game room chatting, playing pool and drinking by the fire place. Do make sure to bring firewood if you come in the winter as the fireplaces are great. The garage is not available to guests so make sure to keep that in mind if you are planning a trip with a big group; the driveway fits 4 cars. The theater is a bit chilling in the winter if you are going to use it as a bedroom (There are extra blankets so you'll be fine) just fyi.

We just returned from a wonderful weekend at this home. We had four families with young children and the house was PERFECT for what we needed. Everyone enjoyed the indoor spa as well as the movie theater! It was so perfect to come in from the snow and curl up with blankets to watch a movie in stadium seating with surround sound. The bedrooms were great - spacious and comfortable. And the views - amazing! It was so picturesque looking out from the main level. The owner, Travis, was extremely accommodating throughout the entire process. He responded right away via email when we had questions upon checking in. We enjoyed ourselves greatly and would highly recommend this home for any large family or group looking for a fabulous stay in Big Bear!!!
