Myself, my adult daughter and my mum all stayed at Wisteria Cottage as our base for some trips around the area looking for the seasonal wildflowers that were out at the time. We very much enjoyed our stay in the cottage. The nights were quite cool but the reverse cycle ac did a great job keeping us warm, as did the flannelette sheets! The location was also perfect. Very quiet but still close enough to town and the things we wanted to see and do. The cottage itself was clean and well provisioned, with our host very happy to resupply something when we had run out. Definitely on my list of places to return.

Fantastic. Ideal to recharge for a couple of days. Peaceful bush setting, walking distance to beach.

Our family ( with 2 kids aged 6 and 11) had a wonderful week! Everything has been thought of at Wisteria cottage - fully self contained with kitchen, BBQ and washing machine. It was quiet with beautiful gardens and within very easy walking distance to the water. It was a great base to explore Albany and the Porongurups.

It was cosy and the host was very responsive and warm. We would recommend this place!

Everything perfect except very limited hot water. Suggest the installation of a larger tank. Angela was very friendly and helpful.

Wisteria Cottage was an absolute treat. We loved the garden and would have really appreciated a few more days to spend some more hours sitting in one of the many cosy seating areas listening to birds and watching the plants grow! The cottage is not in Albany the town and for us that made it even more perfect. We loved having the quiet and calm of Bayonet Point as our base with an easy drive into town when we wanted to avail ourselves of what it offered. The kitchen was well equipped and a really excellent gas barbecue is provided. Our hostess, Angela, was really sweet - not in your face at all but responding quickly to any questions and available nearby if needed. The access process was exceptionally easy which we loved as we thought we would be arriving quite late. The photos of this cottage may make it seem a little worn, but truly its not - its spotlessly clean and in excellent decorative order. We would return anytime...indeed would probably plan our next travel to ensure we can spend a few days here again.
