The property manager Mr. Sase was a nice, helpful gentleman who warmly welcomed us to the apartment upon our arrival, after giving us nice clear directions on how to get there. The apartment is quite spacious for Tokyo, with two bedrooms that comfortably sleep four and a big, airy kitchen and living room space, and all of it sparkling clean. Explanations of everything from how to run the washing machine to garbage pickup times were posted helpfully in noticeable places, and plenty of great amenities were provided, not just toothbrushes and bath sponges but plates, dishes and cutlery in the kitchen and drying racks for clothes in the bedroom closets. The apartment is in a quiet, charming neighborhood and the balcony had an unexpectedly lovely view of the nearby river. Typhoon #19 hit Tokyo during our stay so we spend the entirety of October 13th inside the apartment, and were cozy and comfortable the whole time. Checkout was a breeze - just leave the key and plug-in wi-fi hotspot and go - the rental office is on the fourth floor of the same building in case any problems arise, and Mr. Sase even gave us a lovely hand towel as a gift to take with us when we left. Beds and furniture quite old. There were no English instructions for anything, including the washing machine - we had to check on youtube.
