I have only stayed at a couple of VRBO's, this home by far was the best. I loved that the owners were just a text away and I could contact them for anything. And vice versa! The beds were comfortable, house very clean and the location got us around WA & OR very easily. 5 stars all around!!CJ

Very clean and well kept

Host Chris is attentive with an obvious eye for detail. The house is charming, extremely well- stocked with everything you could ever need, and absolutely spotless. I have already inquired about the beds, as I intend to replace our bed at home with whatever these beds are. We especially enjoyed morning coffee and end of day wine on the covered patio, looking out on the beautifully landscaped and private back yard. We picked breakfast blueberries right off the bushes by the patio. Thank you, Chris, for checking in with us throughout our visit.

We were in town for our son’s wedding in Portland. This house is about 20 min north of the city and traffic is pretty congested, but it was so worth it staying outside the city in a less busy area. We absolutely love the house! It is just stunning and exactly as pictured. We loved eating dinner out on the patio and watching the birds play in the bird bath. The neighborhood was cute and nice for walking. Chris is easily accessible and responsive. The only thing I wish is that it was 3 bedrooms. Everything else about it is just perfect!

We’ve stayed in our fair share of rentals and I can easily say that this was my favorite. The neighborhood was adorable. The house was the perfect craftsman bungalow with all the comforts of home and more. My kids spent hours each morning and evening playing in the gorgeous yard. We can’t express enough how awesome our stay was!

This house was perfect for us -- beautiful, spacious, well-stocked kitchen, and on the patio there was a superb grill and comfortable furniture from which to enjoy the backyard while having dinner. Most neighboring houses are nice although a few were a bit rundown. Communication with the owner was excellent, and it was an easy drive to attractions such as Mt. St. Helen's, the Gorge, and downtown Portland from here.

This is our second time at Chris's property and we loved being there again. Wonderful place to relax and hang out, close enough to stores but nice quiet neighborhood. We hope to have a third reunion there next year!!

This cozy cottage was the perfect launch pad for our family to embark upon outdoor adventures and to visit family in the area. We enjoyed discovering the many thoughtful design touches throughout the property. Thank you Chris for your hospitality and for sharing your home with us.

Great little house with tons of extra little touches. Location was convenient to everything we wanted to do. The owner, Chris, was incredibly responsive and the house overdelivered in every area. Will definitely rebook if we get back to this area.

Great location in a calm neighborhood- clean, nicely decorated

This house felt like a cozy getaway home from the moment we stepped in. The lodge-style decor was stunning with every detail pulling together. On a quiet street, yet so convenient to the east and west and south--all the amenities of Vancouver and Portland. Chris was most helpful when we reached out, yet gave us space. A most responsive and wonderful host. We highly recommend.

This home was absolutely gorgeous. The woodwork, the details to the home, & decor was really a home away from home feel. We felt right at home the minute we walked in. The space was very comfortable for a family of 2 adults & 2 kids. Chris was very communicative prior and during our trip, which I appreciated. Our getaway to Portland area from the craziness of Florida was just what the doctor ordered and Chris's home made for an ideal location to explore all that metro Portland area has to offer. The home is a charming two-bedroom house that exudes the spirit of true hospitality. The home is in an older neighborhood and has been beautifully updated with lots of wood accents, incredibly comfortable beds and an updated kitchen. The master bedroom suite is a true oasis of relaxation, with an invigorating shower, high-end bedding and lots of extra pillows, towels, etc. We were delighted to find fresh apples, coffee and other kitchen, bath and laundry supplies waiting for us upon our arrival - even a lovely bouquet of fresh flowers! The home has a wonderful fireplace with lots of stacked wood and firelogs, perfect for those soon-to-arrive cool evenings (just be careful that you know how to properly build and tend a fire; I'm not sure the previous guests knew what they were doing). We also thoroughly enjoyed sitting out on the back patio in late afternoon and early evening, sipping wine and watching the parade of different birds coming to the feeder. The home has easy access to grocery stores and a wonderful coffee shop (called River Maiden; get their breakfast egg sandwich and thank me later) and is only a 20 minute drive to downtown Portland. Without question, we would stay here again next time our travel brings us to this beautiful part of the country. Thank you, Chris for a 5-star experience!

Great communication from start to finish - Chris was great!! Perfect home, extremely clean, very welcoming, loved all the amenities. We cooked everyday during our stay and had everything we needed! Great neighborhood and beautiful back yard! Can't say enough wonderful things about our stay! Would definitely stay here again! Not property related - but we attended a wedding and various activities in Portland, traffic is terrible going over the bridge - would have been ok if we only had to do it once, but we had to drive it everyday! Just letting everyone aware if spending most of your time in Portland. :)

The house was in impeccable condition and the cleanest VBRO we have ever stayed at. It had everything we needed and then some. Chris (owner) was great and very responsive via text or through the VRBO website. The house does have central a/c so that was a plus because during our stay the weather was hot.

Would love to stay again

We used this home as our base for site-seeing in Oregon and Washington, it had everything we needed. Very well-stocked kitchen! The office was a bonus for taking care of work while on vacation. The outdoor space was also wonderful. We could not have asked for a more perfect place to stay in the Portland/Vancouver area!

We had a wonderful 4 day stay! The photos drew us in, but believe me when I say it's even more gorgeous in person! The house was spotless when we arrived, stocked with everything we could want to kick back and relax. The home and backyard are absolutely beautiful with plenty of space, and the neighborhood is lovely, quiet, and peaceful. I personally loved the fish pond, the abundant adjustable lighting, the modern kitchen, even all the little sounds the appliances make. The home owner Chris is attentive, friendly, and responds very quickly. We'd love to stay again!

Host was prompt to respond to questions and easy to work with. House was as described and worked well for our needs. The outdoor space was very pleasant.
