The property was better than described: newly renovated, great locaion, impecibly landscaped, great amenities, cozy Tahoe comfy vibe. We had a friend come to CA from Chicago for her birthday and her wish was to visit Lake Tahoe. The property was beyond expectations. Don (the owner) made sure we had everything we needed and was always available to answer any questions about the property or SLT. Best VRBO experience ever. My concern about giving such a good review is the property will be booked so often I won't be able to stay there again.

We had a great time! The property is just as it's described and more. We felt so comfortable there. It's close to the lake, shopping and great restaurants. Don was a kind and thoughtful host. Hope to return again in the future.

Beautifully remodeled and spacious home in South Lake Tahoe, with easy access (walking distance) to the lake and Heavenly resort.

Such a great visit to South Lake Tahoe. The house was amazing. Pool table, hot tub, high end appliances, 75 inch TV, all recently updated and less than 5 min from Heavenly and the Lake. (And the casinos) Such a great week, we will be back.

Our family really enjoyed our time at this property over the weekend. The home is beautiful and spacious. It comfortably fit five adults and our dog. The location is ideal for many reasons. You are in close proximity to many restaurants, shops and activists. Everything in the home was working properly. We definitely enjoyed the pool table. The home was extremely clean upon check in. The property host was kindly checking in on our experience throughout our stay. We will definitely be back again!

We enjoyed the home and the openness of the floor plan. Huge backyard! Lots of dvds to choose from for family movie night! Not many board games, so bring your own. We hope to return!

Great property! Close enough to lake and everything else but just far enough to feel woodsy. Everything you could possibly need is already there. Perfect yard for our 2 dogs also.

My family and I loved Don's home. Beautiful, single level home with a large, fenced in back yard in a quiet neighborhood - it was just perfect for my wife, toddler and dogs. Don was a gracious and very accommodating - he checked in on us several times during our trip to make sure we were doing okay and if we needed anything - I really can't thank him enough for making our trip so wonderful. We definitely look forward to staying with him again!

First time in Lake Tahoe and we couldn’t have picked a better place. Don was available for communication the whole trip if needed and the house didn’t disappoint. Great secluded location, but at the same time it was close to everything. Would highly recommend and will be back in the near future.

Beautifully remolded house close to everything in South Lake. My husband and I and our two dogs really enjoyed this modern, fully loaded house. Play pool, listen to music, grill and enjoy the fenced in backyard. So comfortable.

This was the cleanest vacation rental! The house was well equipped in all regards! The oversized backyard with hot tub and a gust house, only added to the charm! If you are looking for an amazing Tahoe home for your next vacation, you need to stay here!

The property and Don were a joy to deal with. Check in was a breeze, the property was a beautiful and clean as advertised and the location couldn't be better. We look forward to staying again!

We loved everything about this home! You can see the care that went into remodeling it. All the finishes from the flooring, to the counter tops, the appliances, the bathrooms and showers to the light fixtures were all something you'd see on HGTV. The backyard is really amazing, given that most homes in Tahoe are not fenced and do not have green grass (when there's not snow). We brought our dog and he loved exploring the yard while we sat outside. Don was very helpful and left detailed instructions at the house with everything we needed to know and more! He also called us towards the beginning of our stay, just to make sure we were fine and that we didn't need anything. The home was well-stocked with towels, bedding, dishes, pots & pans, utensils, coffee maker, some kitchen items including spices and whatever condiments that were left behind in the cupboard to be shared. We cooked quite a few meals while we were there and we had everything we needed. In addition to bath towels, there were also beach towels in the linen closet for the hot tub, which was a nice touch. We spent a good chunk of our time just relaxing at the home. We enjoyed watching the large screen TV with surround sound, sitting in the hot tub and shooting pool. The pool table was a big hit and we played more games of pool than I can count while we were there. Quiet neighborhood. Good location at the end of a cul de sac with very little traffic. There is an elementary school at the end of the street, but it didn't present any problems other than a few extra cars when school was getting out. Convenient to most places in South Lake Tahoe including restaurants, shopping and the casinos! We would definitely stay here again! Keep in mind that this is a beautiful, clean, well-maintained home, so I would hope that renters treat it with respect. It exceeded all of our expectations! Thank you, Don for providing such a great place to stay on this trip.

We had a wonderful stay in this 5 star home. It's got everything you need and more - the Christmas tree and wreath were a real added bonus for our Christmas week stay. It's close to everything and worked out great for our family.

We had a lovely stay at Don's place. The house was beautifully decorated with a modern, minimalist and woodsy style. Don was extremely helpful and attentive to our needs. The house provided absolutely everything we could have needed. My family had a great time using the pool table which also turned into a ping pong table which was so fun. I used the outdoor studio as a workout gym during the week too which was a tremendous bonus. The landscaping was very well done and kept and the outdoors was a wondrous sanctuary. The master bathroom was breathtaking and the main bathroom was also tasteful too. Everything about this home was to our liking and comfort. Speaking of comfort, the couch in the family room was huge and and we just sank into the cozy cushions. I would highly recommend staying at this place for anyone looking for a combination of fine living, a quiet sanctuary yet still very close to the happenings in South Lake Tahoe if you want to explore that.

This was pretty much the perfect vacation rental. Beautiful home, setting and the owners have thought of everything you might need for a stress free stay. Amazing experience I can’t wait to go back. Perfect location right next to heavenly. Couldn’t ask for anything more.

This is a perfect getaway for a family vacation. Everything is in perfect condition and there was nothing that we wished we had that wasn’t there. There is plenty of space for gathering outside or in, the addition of the unit in the back was a fun extra (especially with access to fitness equipment!), the mattresses on the beds were awesome (frequently this is my biggest complaint with rentals because they are old and uncomfortable, but these were great!), having a hot tub and pool table were both great ways to relax, and the spacious back yard made for a fun Easter egg hunt with our kids. Don was also very accommodating and made sure to check in with us and call prior to our visit in case we had any questions. I would highly recommend this property if you want a relaxing trip in a quiet neighborhood that is just minutes from beaches, skiing, or casinos!

House was beautiful. Very welcoming, and cozy. Nice big fenced in yard for our dogs. The pups had a fun-filled weekend being outside running and playing! Don was great to deal with and very prompt in responding to our questions. Would definitely recommend this house. We look forward to coming back again!

We had a great time this past week staying at this property. It was newly renovated and really done right! The weather was perfect all week as well so that always helps!

Great place! I came with my family and two dogs and everyone had a fantastic time. The house was full of amenities and the renovation was very well done. The yard was perfect with plenty of room for the dogs and kids to play. Don was easy to work with and accommodating!

Several friends and I had the pleasure of staying at this property for a week in January. It is clear that a great deal of care and attention to detail was given to every aspect of this wonderful home. From the hot tub to the pool table to the fire place there is absolutely every amenity here for a great ski vacation. Would highly recommend to anyone planning a winter or summer Tahoe get away. Treated my family and grandkids to having Thanksgiving at South Lake Tahoe. This house was great it totally remodeled and had all the wings and bells. In the area we are use to when we had a house in SLT. Will be renting this house again for sure

Nice and clean up to date place close to restaurants and activities. Big fully fenced backyard and clean hot tub. Had all the amenities we needed for a week getaway (beach towels, towels, cooking condiments and supplies, BBQ). We would definitely come back.
