Lovely host & hostess. The accommodations were very comfortable. A great location to visit the chateau’s & Amboise is a lovely town.

Very clean, bright, cheerful. Set up as a holiday property with lots of objects, pictures, ornaments, rather than a 'lived in' house.

A truly wonderful place to stay in the Loire Valley. The location is perfect - close to Amboise and other chateaux but out in the country so quiet and peaceful. The house was a home - from the spacious living areas and kitchen to the outside patio and gardens. We stayed during a heat wave. The AC units came in handy on the really hot evenings, but the old stone walls and the cross breeze in the early morning helped keep it cool. Another bonus- both showers were also larger than the usual claustrophobic cubicles in so much of Europe.

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par la propriétaire des lieux. La maison se situe dans un cadre agréable avec un joli jardin fleuri. Elle est bien située et au calme. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans cette belle région.

Nous avons réservé le gîte pour un week-end entre amis et avons été ravis . Tout s est fait très simplement, la propriétaire est a l écoute, et la maison fonctionnelle et chaleureuse. Il manque juste un barbecue !!

The house is spatious and very clean. It has everything you would need for a holiday and is conveniently located close to the town centre and all the necessary amenities. All in all a perfect base to enjoy the beautiful Loire valley!

Nous avons loué la maison pour passer Noël en famille. Nous avons de suite été charmés et conquis! Maison très fonctionnelle, avec beaucoup de cachet et décorée avec beaucoup de goût. Nous nous sommes immédiatement sentis comme chez nous et cela a contribué à la réussite de notre séjour. Le calme de la campagne et la proximité de la magnifique ville d'Amboise sont des atouts indéniables. Merci également à Françoise pour son accueil chaleureux et sa disponibilité. Nous espérons revenir car nous n'avions plus envie de partir! 😊

This cottage is full of charm! Decorated very nicely with lots of extra touches. The cottage has lots of room and was very clean upon arrival. Francoise was extremely accommodating with our late arrival time.

This property was perfect for us. We were three adults, parents and a daughter, but property can host more people. The house was charming, pretty, super clean, with lovely, tasteful decor. It feels very homey, Everything we needed was available including washing machine. The property is in a quiet location in Amboise, an excellent central location for the Loire Valley and chateaux. The owner was extremely kind and very flexible for our somewhat late arrival, very easy to communicate with, Amboise is a great city to stay in. We found an excellent boulangerie for great bread and pastries and a great restaurant called Chez Bruno.

Lovely, clean and quiet, 4 km to town centre. Well appointed and host Francoise was most gracious. Wish we would have had time to stay longer.

La maison de Françoise est très agréable, fonctionnelle, décorée avec goût, elle dispose de 3 chambres, 2 salles de bain et un "espace jardin" où l'on peut prendre ses repas en toute quiétude tout en profitant de l'extérieur. Le logement est bien situé à quelques minutes en voiture du centre ville d'Amboise. A notre arrivée la maison était très propre, Françoise était là pour nous accueillir et nous donner quelques informations. A recommander.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Amboise. The house is very tastefully decorated, air conditioned and had everything we needed. The owner, Francoise, was very helpful. We appreciated having a washer to do laundry and we enjoyed sitting out in the lovely garden. It's located a few minutes drive from Amboise which is a beautiful town, perfectly located as a base for visiting the chateaux and wineries in the Loire valley.

Jolie maison, situé à 3 minutes en auto du centre ville d’Amboise. Très spacieuse, nous étions 6 adultes : grands-parents, parents et deux jeunes filles adultes qui avons tous adoré notre séjour dans ce gite. Françoise, la propriétaire, nous a réservé un accueil des plus chaleureux et nous nous sommes sentis chez nous. La maison était très bien équipée avec toutes les nécessités et très propre. Les informations fournies par Françoise nous ont été des plus utiles.

Lovely, perfectly decorated charming house. Every corner had some precious detail. Sitting in the garden with the birds singing and the scent of roses...perfect. Comfortable. Kitchen had everything you could need. It was fun to tour the market and bring fresh veggies and fruit home for dinner. Charming French hostess. I highly recommend staying here - and for as llong as you can...there is lots to do and see in the area.

Gut und geschmackvoll ausgestattetes Ferienhaus. In der Küche alles Notwendige vorhanden, nur Eierbecher fürs Frühstücksei haben wir vermisst. Betten sind bequem, allerdings nur 140cm breit. Wer Bettwäsche selbst mitbringt bitte aufpassen: Zudecken sind doppelt breit ( fürs ganze Bett), normale Bettbezüge passen also nicht. Das Haus war bei Übernahme sauber und gepflegt. Ein Pluspunkt ist auch der schöne Garten und die Terrasse. Wir habe öfters draußen gegessen und die idyllische Atmosphäre bei einem Glas Wein genossen. Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich, pünktlich und zuverlässig, spricht allerdings auschliesslich französisch. Die Lage des Hauses ist sehr ruhig, trotzdem ist Amboise in wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Zu Fuß ca. 20-30 Minuten. Ambois ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt um die Schlösser der Loire zu erkunden. Wir können die Unterkunft eindeutig weiterempfehlen.

Anreise und Empfang haben prima geklappt. Die Vermieterin war sehr nett und zuverlässig und die Kommunikation per e-mail lief problemlos. Amboise liegt günstig für Schlossbesichtigungen in der Umgebung.

We have just spent 2 weeks in this amazing house which is lovingly cared for and has everything you could possibly need. The host Françoise was so welcoming and left us a lovely bottle off local fizz in the fridge. It is ideally placed to explore the many chateaux along the Loire and is close to the cahrming town of Amboise. The only thing that could have been better was the weather ! Thank you for a wonderful holiday we will definitely be back again sometime in the future.

We can highly recommend this property. Well equipped, comfortable and spacious the cottage is on the outskirts of Amboise, a busy traditional town with lots to see and do. A short walk to the river Loire and short driving distance from wonderful chateaus and vineyards. Wine tasting is relaxed and friendly with no pressure salesman in sight. We loved the area and loved the cottage. Just perfect, many thanks to our host Françoise who provided everything for our comfort and responded quickly and pleasantly to our initial and subsequent contacts by email and phone.

Fabulous characterful place, immaculately presented, with a pretty and sunny enclosed garden. Francoise is welcoming, pleasant and professional. Her pride and enthusiasm for the house are reflected in her attention to detail. The back looks out over fields and a quiet lane, footpaths and tracks lead out towards Amboise Forest. Plenty of restaurants to choose from in Amboise, 40min walk along the river, or a few mins by car and easy to park in town. Netto supermarket close by for essentials. Clean, well equipped and comfortable. We enjoyed it so much we're returning in September.
