Came to Taupo for mountain biking and needed a place for our bikes too. Though the garage had a boat in it so we were lucky there were only 3 of us. Went to light the fire but it didn't work. No air was circulating. Very warm house and great location. 5 minutes to Taupo centre. Handy for us. Very quiet neighbourhood.

The property is compact but is comfortable and has everything needed. It is located in a lovely quite area. We enjoyed our stay.

The house was clean, tidy and had everything that our two families needed for a comfortable stay during our long weekend in Taupo.
It was a lovely quiet neighbourhood and only a short drive into Taupo to get to our tournament games.
We really appreciated them being able to accommodate our friend's family last minute who needed some accommodation.

Great spot in quiet neighborhood - not the sunniest of houses but good outlook towards the lake. Great for a short break at the lake. Beds were comfortable.

The umpires retreat was warm and comfortable with everything that was needed. The kitchen was perfect and the bathrooms were clean and well appointed for convenience. We used the outdoor table and chairs and appreciated the shelter. When we came back at night we entered a warm space.

Lovely house with great views of the lake. Peaceful area felt like a home away from home. Fantastic utilities. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again :)

This home had everything my family needed. I loved the open plan living our family got to bond in one room while still having enough space.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Will definitely stay again.

This house worked really well for us as a base for enjoying the Taupo area. Cosy in winter with the fireplace, views towards Taupo, accessible to neighbourhood shops, and even enjoyed the board game selection.

Thought the place was great. Loved the in door out door flow. Was great for group. Would definitely stay again and recommend to everyone. Very clean and tidy.

Everything in the house you need. Extensive record collection but pretty crappy stereo. Outdoor area needs to be made more secure as my 1 year old could walk between gatepost and house and get on driveway.
Good value for money.
All in all a great place to stay but should make the back area completely secure for keeping the young ones safe.
