It was a very beautiful area. There was a large yard and many things to do. The communication was great. It was close to town but felt like you were in the middle of no where. Pond was a bit smaller than I thought but the other pictures of the rooms didn't show how big they were. The master bed was very comfortable and the shower was beautiful.

We loved the cabin. It was a very convenient location while being secluded. We have owned vacation rentals and rented many. I brought cleaning supplies and other paper goods but didn’t need them. Everything was provided which is unusual but nice surprise. We hope to rent this cabin again next year.

Our family had a great time at Cabin escape however there were a few concerns. There was some difficulty getting responses to questions we had before our trip and had to call the VRBO help line. Once that was initiated the host was very responsive. We had a concern about the cleanliness of the bathroom and I had to clean out the shower before using it. There were a few things not in working order. The biggest frustration was that the half bath in the basement was not working and that was quite inconvenient for the people that slept in the basement, since the main floor bath is a master bath during the night if the bathroom was needed the people sleeping in the basement had to go up to the 2nd floor bath. We really count on minimum of 2.5 baths when our family ( 8 adults and 2 children) books a vacation house. It also would have been nice for that information to be given to us before we read a note on the toilet that said Do not use. The grill was workable but very dirty (which we cleaned) and the ice maker and water dispenser on the refrigerator did not work. We had the idea that the pond was swimming friendly but it was very dirty and noone felt comfortable to swim in it. None of these issues changed the fact that our family had a wonderful time. The grounds are beautiful and very fun for the kids. Great time around the fires at night and the privacy was fantastic. S B.

13 of us spent a long weekend here. The kids had a blast on the zip line, slack line and playground. There was plenty of room to spread out indoors as well. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

It was a nice getaway from city life. To listen to nature early in the morning was very pleasant. My son enjoys taking pictures with the fox that was in the living room.

Beautiful clean cabin and property. This is a beautiful area to relax and enjoy nature. The cabin was smaller than I expected from the pictures but still plenty of space and beds for all of us. The basement was wonderful for entertainment and game playing. We hiked at Parker Damn State park which we all enjoyed. The park seems to be a nice place to fish and swim in the summer months. Fished in the small pond at the property. Enjoyed grilling and playing outdoor games in the large yard. Would definitely recommend for family and friends who want to just getaway and enjoy family time together.

Our group loved the stay at the property! A few of our favorites: such a beautiful location (especially in the winter), plenty of fridge/freezer space, the fireplace & the coziness it brought & that there was plenty of firewood available for the entire weekend! Just something to keep in mind—the kitchen had very little cabinet/drawers space to store groceries (that won’t go into be fridge/freezer). There is a downstairs bar area; however, we weren’t going to run back and forth to get groceries. Also, the dishwasher was not working for us. Overall tho, it was a very cozy and cute home!

My bday weekend was awesome

Great weekend getaway or for longer, just to get away and relax and enjoy and have fun!

This house had literally everything I needed for a short vacation away from home. The beds were really comfy and the shower in the master bedroom was amazing. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed such as dinnerware, cups, coffee maker and keureg, measuring cups, knifes, and even food and spices. The furniture was all very comfy. The basement had a really sweet setup with the bar and the foosball and a living room set. It was like a mini apartment down there. The house is really well taken care of and is absolutely beautiful. Will definitely keep this place in mind for future Vacations.

More than enough room for a large group, remote and scenic. Everything was as described according to the ad. Owner was friendly and very accommodating!

Place was very nice and peaceful. Fall or spring would be a great time to visit.

We truly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house. Our dog had a blast running around the spacious yard and we enjoyed walking the property nearby. There are so many places to hike in the area and restaurants weren’t too far away. The house has everything you need for a comfy, relaxing stay..

This is our second visit to this most wonderful cabin! Once to see Phil and this time to see the Elk!! What a great location! Also took in a few beautiful local hikes!!

Beautiful cabin.very clean, dish tv WiFi, could sleep up to 15. Ten minutes from I-80 Lots of land for dogs to run, nice small pond on property. 2houses nearby but far away enough that you could not hear or see anything, Plenty of chairs outside along with 2 fire pits

We had a fantastic weekend! We had 4 adults and 4 kids, there was plenty of space for everyone. The house was perfectly cozy, the beds were comfortable, and the kids enjoyed both playing in the basement and outside in the snow. Michelle was quick to respond with any questions and provided clear communication as to what to expect and answered all my questions.

The property is beautiful. It was spacious with enough beds to accommodate our 2 families. Would have loved to stay longer to enjoy the cabin, the beautiful scenery, and wildlife.

The cabin is more like a home. Very clean and spacious. It has a rustic ambiance with all the comforts of home. The grounds were very large and mowed. The owner was in constant contact with me. We made a fire by the pond at night and enjoyed nature’s surroundings. Getting there was very easy and the cabin is centrally located to many attractions. Free WiFi worked great. I highly recommend this place for a quiet get away and hope to visit again soon.

We enjoyed our weekend so much! My son was thrilled to catch...and release...a Big old Bass in the pond. My daughter liked zip-lining and swimming in the pond. We made a fire and sat outside, thanks for providing the wood! We can't wait to book again...maybe just a girls weekend. Thanks for a great stay!

Our extended weekend stay was very enjoyable. The house was beautiful and the surrounding woodlands and yard were perfect for daily walks with our dog. The kitchen was well equipped and the bedrooms were very comfortable. We could not find any controls for the new AC described on the website, but maybe we just missed them. With the nice breezes we did not really need AC. Thank you Michelle for a great mini vacation!

Great land and scenery! They have a swing set for kids and an awesome grill. Very family friendly and Michelle was quick with responses. Highly recommend.

Spent the first weekend in February at this most wonderful home! We were able to see Punxsutawney Phil and be part of that fun, yet spend some much needed rest in a beautiful setting! Extremely pet friendly!
