4 adults and 3 teenagers/children had a wonderful vacation! The house is clean and kitchen/family room is exceptionally nice for large families. Was initially concerned that neighborhood was a little sketchy but it was perfect in terms of proximity to boardwalk and beach and we had no trouble at all. Thank you, Bailey’s!

Great view from the patio nice backyard. Location was close to everything. I would have liked to see a few kid friendly dishes and cups in the kitchen as well as Tupperware for leftovers as plastic wrap, foil, baggies are not provided. Bring your own laundry soap, Kleenex, bath soap. The ad states parking for two cars - the driveway is very short unless you have a Fiat or Minicooper your vehicle sticks out into the sidewalk. I was worried about getting a ticket.. As indicated in previous reviews all of the mattresses on every bed are HORRIBLE! For that reason I would not stay or recommend the property to friends unless I read all new mattresses. Property Management was FANTASTIC!!

This is a spacious, clean, and comfortable home that fit our needs. Great views of the boardwalk and a short walk to it. Beats paying $30 for parking. Nice quiet neighborhood. There is PLENTY of room in this home. Large kitchen and lots of seating in the TV room. The only mistake we made was we were so busy we were only there to sleep. I wish I had more "downtime" to relax in this home, but there's always next time :)

We had the pleasure of staying here for a week and really enjoyed this home. It has a large open living area. Lots of comfy seating. Lots of games and books. Feels homey. The large kitchen has a new fridge and all the serve ware you'll need. The upstairs deck is awesome with a view of he boardwalk and river. The back yard is lovely. Location is good. I would definitely come back here.

My family and i had a wonderful time hangout out this sweet cottage in Santa Cruz. Its the perfect distance from the boardwalk so you can get there without driving. But far enough away so you dont have to hear the rides going all night. The house is very clean and stocked with lots of kitchen amenities to use. There is also lots of extras in the grage to use at the beach so you dont have to bring or buy stuff if you have forgotten it. We loved this house!!

Nice home close to the Boardwalk. Very spacious and clean. Kitchen is fabulous. Only issue was the bunk bed in the downstairs bedroom, it needs repaired as the bottom bed is broken and very squeaky.

The property was clean and well stocked, a great location, being walking distance from the boardwalk. The only downside to this property was hot horrible the beds were. All the mattresses felt like they were about 50 years old, which made for pretty poor sleep. I probably wouldn’t stay here again for that reason, but would if the mattresses were updated!

the neighborhood was very peaceful, property was clean the refrigerator was being replaced we was notified just before checking in but they had a backup in the garage. The property management was great easy check-in easy directions and was really close to the boardwalk and other excursions. Would rent again.

It was a beautiful little place the only downside was the bottom bunk mattress. It was more a piece of plywood than a mattress but other than that it was an amazing vacation.

Great location, great house!

We celebrated my son’s birthday with some of his friends in Santa Cruz at this house. The location was great. The rain kept them from going to the boardwalk but the bikes at the house kept them entertained. No small feat for 18 year olds. There was plenty of room for them downstairs. The house is older but in comparison to Santa Cruz homes it is very nice. Also very clean. This is also my second experience with the rental company, Bailey Property Management. They are very professional and run a smooth operation.

The house has everything you need for a large group vacation. It was professionally clean and put together upon arrival. We were not able to use the bicycles in the garage, but there are enough for 8 or more riders. Plus points for the ping pong table! The backyard is cute and was a great place for us to hangout when it wasn't raining. We stayed in most of the weekend due to heavy rain and had a great time cooking and entertaining ourselves using the many amenities the house had. We did go out for a bit during a lull in the rain for a walk across the railroad bridge and down the San Lorenzo Trail. Good location. Our neighbors were very friendly and we had a good introduction with them when we checked in. Lastly, Lisa (the property manager) was always there when we needed her for any questions or concerns. She was very communicative and it was easy to contact her, despite difficulties from the recent storms and flooding in parts of Santa Cruz County. Thanks for the great stay. We will be back.

Place was a little dirty on check in. Beds uncomfortable. Extra pillows in closets but no pillowcases. Just ok.

Nice home, very poor mattresses The property manager was great, the house was clean, bright, well equipped in terms of the kitchen and the location was good close to downtown Santa Cruz and also close to the boardwalk and the ocean. Unfortunately the mattresses were very poor. In two bedrooms the mattresses were very soft. Iin the third bedroom the mattress in the bunkbed was hardly a mattress at all and the bunkbed itself at least the upper part was not accessible to anyone other than a mountain goat. Pony up some money for decent mattresses and you got a five star VRBO

She had to take the spring twin mattress off and sleep on the floor. There was no mattress on the bottom, only a sleeping pad on top of metal bars and plywood. The house was clean but needed some things replaced/ updated. The bunk bed slants down on the bottom and it super creaky, the upstairs floor lamp is broken and one of the cabinets came off the hinges. The management however was very quick to reply after hours and did offer to repair things right away if needed. I wish we knew that there was no AC and about 1/2 the time that we opened the windows the smell of pot filled the house from the neighbors. The park that you can ride your bike to was full of homeless so we could not take the kids to play there. This isn’t the fault of the homeowners at all, but good to be aware of if you are bringing kids.

Great experience room for us all. Easy access to all that Santa Cruz has to offer plus easy access to heys for day trips.

We like the home and everything was a promoted. Very nice to have bikes provided as the location lends itself to exploring the Boardwalk and downtown Santa Cruz. A couple improvements: Better communication needed from property manager as a drawer and towel rack but came loose with no abuse what so ever. I emailed the non-urgent issues but no response provided. Many home rentals provide nice touches for guests such as coffee for the machines and yes, down a slippery slope but it would be a nice touch! Never even used the kitchen...was too busy with the wedding.

We loved the house. It was well stocked and clean. The location was excellent for us as we could walk to beach and drive to Delaveaga disc golf course. The driveway is very small and might only fit a Mini Cooper. So prepare to park on street.
