Angie and Chris’s home was great for our large family! The multiple areas to hang out in, made it great while trying to get babies asleep, sooo many family boardgames to choose from, two sets of laundry machines, 2 kitchens, and THE HOT TUB!! The hot tub literally saved my muscles, after an intense hike on The Great Wass Island Preserve (I haven’t hiked in a very long time, especially on trails of changing terrains.). The hosts were responsive when I had any questions. They were very kind hosts! Angie even offered to pick up breakfast items for us (she knew we were traveling with babies), after our flights got delayed for HOURS, causing us to ultimately stay in a hotel in Portland for the first night of our vacation. I would recommend their place to anyone who plans on staying in the Acadia National Park/Bar Harbor area!

This home is a wonderful place to stay in MDI for groups. We had 10 adults and there was plenty of space for all of us. The home is located right next to Bar Harbor and minutes from plenty of trail heads. Our group especially liked using the well stocked kitchen to cook meals every night after a good hike. Angie and Chris really made us feel like we were at home with all the small touches in the house. They were easy to communicate with and had plenty of suggestions for local fun. We would love to stay here again!

I cannot recommend this property enough! I reserved this property for my family and I. We were 10 guests in total and there was so much room. The house itself is amazing. It was very clean and organized. The kitchen is well stocked and we were able to make meals for everyone with ease. The bedrooms were very comfortable. We really enjoyed the firepit, utilizing it to make smores on our trip. My family loved the hot tube. The location itself was perfect! We were literally surrounded by Acadia National Park, which was the main attraction that bought us to Maine. The house is also very close to town with nice restaurants and shops. I cannot say enough about our hosts, Angie and Chris. They were absolutely wonderful. They were incredibly kind and very responsive. Again, I cannot recommend this property enough. My family is already planning a return trip back!

Perfect house for our adult family! One couple stayed in the downstairs apartment, our son had the main floor and 2 couples stayed upstairs. We had everything available in the kitchen to cook meals for the family. The location was perfect! We also used the fire pit, the deck and the hot tub. Clean, roomy, well stocked with necessities. The owners were very accomodating and are next door if you need anything.

This is our second stay and we love it. The proprietors are friendly and helpful (they put out a leashes run for our dog!) and the place is clean and well stocked (made many dinners for our family of 12). Lots of comfortable beds. Great layout. Fun games and puzzles. Close to all the best of Acadia. We will be back.

I've been "coming back home" for 35+ years and this was my first time at Angie's property. Sometimes it can be nerve-wracking to try a new place but... Angie was extremely communicative and accommodating prior to the trip (during and after also, but trying to go in order). Waking up in the master bedroom to the view made the entire trip worthwhile alone. Not to mention the rave reviews my other travelers gave of the EXTREMELY well equipped kitchen (when we had group meals as Bar Harbor is getting spendy), the hot tub, the fire pit, the views, and the accommodations/bedrooms/group rooms. We all fell in love with a silly hammock chair but it was so comfortable and had the best view in the house! Service-wise we never lacked for anything that wasn't already on the property (wood, equipment, wifi, heating, laundry, on and on...) Location had me worried (I've stayed too far away on the other side of the island or too far south) but our morning hotspot (Jordan's) was literally... 7min? away each day, even during the weekends. It was my first time having such quick access to Little Hunter's Cove and all points after the entrance gate (normally it does mean a beautiful but more paced journey over the Loop). We were ALL extremely surprised by our first visit and will look forward to staying on Angie's property in the future!!! Kevin (50+)

Very convenient to all things Bar Harbor and surroundings. The hosts were welcoming, helpful, and available for any questions. Highly recommend for families. Just careful on steps (up & down). We will definitely return anytime we venture to the area.

The property was perfect for our adventure to Acadia National Park and exploring Bar Harbor. It was clean and had enough space for our 8 family members. Location was perfect and Angie responded almost immediately to any questions.

Straight shot and in Bay Harbor in 10 minutes. A lot of space inside and out. Communication with the property manager was near-instantaneous. I would highly recommend it!

We loved staying at this home surrounded by the beauty and mountains of Acadia National Park! It was perfect for our group of 14 (we also used the basement apartment). We loved that we were so close to all the wonders of Acadia, and we could even view the home from atop Gorham Mountain! The home was well stocked and had great places for everyone to hang out! We really enjoyed the fire pit, patio, and hot tub too! We couldn’t have asked for a better home to get our first taste of Acadia National Park! We will be back!

Three generations gathered in this lovely home for a week in Acadia NP. The hosts were kind and responsive…quickly answering any questions we had. Their house was welcoming and felt like “home.” Plenty of room for all, a family room where all could gather, and good selection of games and puzzles. The fire pit and spa were a plus! And the location was wonderful…so close to trailheads. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We enjoyed spending a week at this beautiful home with our family. It was comfortable, clean, well stocked, and provided excellent amenities. The location was perfect, close to Bar Harbor and Acadia, but far enough away to provide privacy and a break from the crowds. We loved the views of Gorham Mountian, the hot tub and firepit areas, and all of the wildlife in the backyard! For us, it was home away from home! Working with Angie was a pleasure. She was attentive to our needs and went out of her way to provide an enjoyable experience for all of us. We would definitely recommend this home to our friends and anyone else looking for great vacation!

The space is beautiful, comfortable, clean and cozy, with a fully stocked kitchen for the needs of our adult group. We loved watching the sunset from the porch, hot-tubbing under the stars after a long day of hiking, reading in front of the wood-burning stove (great home library!), or listening to an excellent collection of vinyl! Angie was responsive and helpful & these hosts provide their own guidebook for enjoying the many wonders of Mount Desert Island. This home is located in easy proximity to Bar Harbor, many trail heads, Park Loop Drive, and the gems of The Quiet Side. We were even able to spot the house from the summit of Gorham Mountain! This was the perfect spot for our much-needed and long overdue family vacation. Thank you, Angie and Chris, for sharing your lovely home!

Angie is a great host and the property was clean and convenient. The hot tub was great after several days of long hikes. We hope to be able to stay here again!

Our family of 6 adults and 2 small children had a wonderful week hiking and biking. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a family.

Everything worked well and the location allowed easy access to Acadia, BH and beyond.

We had a family reunion with family from Texas. The house was perfect, great size, awesome location, very comfortable. They had everything we needed. The host's were super responsive when we had questions, which weren't many. We had a great time making memories to last a life time..

Great home in a great location. Our multi generation family enjoyed this property for the week. Close drive into Bar Harbor and entrance to Acadia National Park and hiking trails. Infact it is surrounded by the national park. The home is big and basically has 3 living rooms on the main level. So plenty of space to spread out. One of those rooms can become a bedroom if you choose to use the pullout. There is a full bathroom right across from that room. Upstairs are 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The one bathroom has just a tub with a hose , just fyi. We rented the basement apartment also to have another bedroom and bathroom for our group. The owners are friendly and reponsive. Something was wrong with the door lock and they came right away to fix it and again when there was an issue with the coffee maker , they came quickly to replace it. Thank you Angie and Chris for sharing your home with us. And thanks for sending me my sunglasses I left behind! Kathy and family

Really amazing family vacation at this property. Had a total of 13 of us and the property fit our family perfectly. Hot tub and fire pit added to our stay. We loved the fun chairs in the living room and the kitchen worked out great for us! Also was perfectly located near Bar Harbor. Excellent host communication. Would absolutely stay here again!

Our family of 4 stayed in this lovely home after missing our yearly trip to Acadia in 2020. We couldn’t have found a better place to stay for our visit to the park. The beds were comfortable, the house was clean and gorgeously situated, conveniently close to both Bar Harbor and the trails. I cannot say enough good things about this property! The location was wonderful. The house itself was beautiful, clean, plenty of room for the 11 of us, well stocked, and had a “homey” feel that we loved. The communication about the property was prompt, friendly, and accommodating. We hope to book here again in the future!

Our family had a great time at the farmhouse. The house was spacious for our group of 9 adults and 1 infant. The downstairs apartment was such a great addition! The house is so centrally located and convenient to everything on MDI - the park, Bar Harbor, etc. We were able to explore and bike many places right from the house. The kitchen was equipped for lots of family dinners, evening fires and a great backyard to relax, play games, etc.!

Plenty of room and amenities in this beautifully well kept farmhouse. We found the location in Otter Creek to be perfect to all that we wanted to go do and explore on MDI. Hosts were very communicative and helpful!
