Historic Lodge near to English Heritage attractions and only 50 mins from London
Além disso, a Oxted Station possui serviços semelhantes.
A modernização oferece serviços atualizados, mantendo a sensação caseira tradicional.
Portanto, a Loja possui:
3 x WC
O acesso a partir do WEST usando a M25 fica a aproximadamente 15 minutos do Lodge.

We enjoyed our stay at Brasted Lodge very much and only wish we had had more time to spend there! The location was conveniently spaced between train stations for easy access to the city, and close to many attractions and village shops/restaurants. The host, Robert, was so kind, and even helped us when we unexpectedly had a flat tire. We hope we can return soon!

Great property, with plenty of space. Our young kids really enjoyed the two gardens. The house had all the amenities we needed, with easy parking.
The owner was very helpful when we locked ourselves out the house and got us back in with ease. He did come round the house on occasion, including doing the gardening for a full day, which I’ve not experienced before in a rental and we did feel very aware of his presence. We’re used to not seeing the owners at all.
Also something to note is the WiFi is pretty slow, around 6mbps which is noticeably slow compared to modern setups when working.

WE WOULD STAY AGAIN!
'We would stay again is our 5-Star rating. The property has many great features. The kitchen is very well equipped. The 2 full bathrooms are spacious and beautifully appointed. The living room has two comfy sofas and a complete audio-visual set up. The dining room sits 6. When the English weather allows, there is a delightful outdoor sitting area. Beds are comfortable and there are plenty of drawers and hanging space and even enough hangers (so often not the case!). Parking is easy. All rooms are medium size (good for England!) and the layout provides opportunities to hangout together and alone time. The internet was very good, not always the case even this close to London.
The property is about 3/4 mile from the pretty village of Westerham and has easy motorway access. It backs onto country property so one can walk out the door and take a nice stroll. It fronts on to the A25, a busy main road during the day. Even though the property is well insulated from the noise of passing traffic, this could be a drawback for folk who are noise sensitive. We thought it might bother us, but it did not. Parents with children with a tendency to wander would need to be especially vigilant.
Another thing we appreciated was the owner's attention to security. Everything has double locks. We joked that we were staying in Fort Knox, but liked feeling safe.
Communication with the owner was excellent.
While definitely out in the country, a 30-minute drive gets you to Bromley South station with regular 20-minute rail service to Victoria Station in the heart of London. The only challenge at Bromley South is parking. It's available but you don't want to be driving around looking for it. so check it out ahead of time.
Winston Churchill's home - Chartwell - is ten minutes away and the delightful Hever Castle about 20 minutes. Kent's 'Garden of England' is easily explored.
In summary, this is is a very comfortable and well appointed property, where one could happily spend a week or more. We stayed for 5 nights.

A vacation destination from New Jersey, USA
We loved the Brasted Lodge and our 10 day stay here. The home was very comfortable and felt like home. It was nicely updated, very clean and well taken care of. The outdoor area has beautiful landscaping and lovely fish pond. After a trip to Tescoes to buy some groceries (breakfasts and snacks for the week), we did day trips every day, including London via train, Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, Roman Baths, Dover Castle, Hever Castle, Down House, and Chartwell. Each day we returned to the Brasted Lodge felt like coming home! Thank you Robert for the wonderful stay in your lodge! We loved it and look forward to future stays!

Exceeded expectations...
There were four of us - two couples - travelling from Canada to attend a wedding in Kent. Robert's place made the trip for us. The bedrooms were perfect and located in different areas of the house. The bathrooms (3) were large and high-end. Even though it was record-breaking heat during our stay in the UK the house stayed cool which was very important to us. The patio with lovely furniture, gardens and pond was an oasis and we enjoyed breakfast, cocktails and dinners throughout our stay. We just can't say enough about the pace. It's apparent Robert has spent time and $$ combined with his expertise to attend to all the needs of busy travellers and what we need to make a stay top-notch. Highly recommend.

Beautiful, spacious cottage.
Beautiful home away from home. Very friendly owner. Large bathrooms, great beds. Close to the mainroad, but that didn’t bother us at all. Bit more cockery and cutlery would be nice. We had a wonderful time.

Perfect base for exploring the area
Brasted Lodge is a pretty building in a beautiful area packed with interesting places to visit (Chartwell, Hever Castle, Ightham Mote and more). The layout worked perfectly for us and we enjoyed the use of the outside courtyards, especially watching the fish in the pond. There were also plenty of pubs and restaurants in the lovely nearby villages of Westerham and Brasted. All in all perfect for our week's getaway.

Friendly, comfy and clean
Rob was a great host: he was very friendly on our arrival and ensured we knew where everything was (both in the house and around the local area) before he left us to it. The beds were extremely comfortable, all rooms were very clean, and the reception rooms were all great to spend time in for both work and relaxation.
Thanks Rob!

Perfect Central Sightseeing location!
We loved our recent week at Brasted Lodge. We came from America and didn’t know what to expect and we were not disappointed in the least!
The location was so perfect for our daily sightseeing trips. 1 hour to Brighton Beach, Hever Castle was just a short trip, Windsor was a little over an hour away and the train we took into London left from Oxted just right down the road. We were able to get a family pass for £30 for the four of us that included our train ride and all subway and bus rides in London as well. Our furthest drive was to Stonehenge and Avebury which took about 2 hours.
The lodge had everything we could have needed and was well stocked with towels and linens. The bathrooms and kitchen were updated and very nice. The house stayed so warm when the temperature dropped at night. Our two boys loved the WiFi access and the tv and movie selections.
We would love to return again and would definitely spend our time here at this wonderful gem.
Thank you so much!

From the US to England for a perfect stay !!
We stayed at Brasted Lodge from October 10-16 and absolutely enjoyed every moment. Four adults had everything needed to make it feel like home. Robert was very helpful in suggestions for touring the area and was available for questions whenever needed. Would highly recommend anyone considering the area to definitely look at this property for a great stay/vacation.

Comfortable stay in just the right place
Attractive and quirky cottage ideally situated for visiting sites in Kent and London. Comfortable beds. "Smart", well-furnished and equipped. Agreeable outside courtyard spaces for lounging, and plenty of off-road parking.
Only downside is that although two of the three bedrooms had en-suites there was no bathroom for use by the occupant of 3rd bedroom, although there is a cloakroom. The cottage is floodlit at night. We really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful property, clean, convenient and comfortable.
Our family of 6 had a wonderful week at Brasted Lodge. Everything was communicated clearly before our arrival so we could show up and make ourselves immediately at home. The grounds are very private and it’s a gorgeous natural setting but also convenient to towns, trains, shopping, restaurants etc. The house was immaculate, comfortable beds, plush towels, sparkling bathrooms and kitchen and two delightful courtyards. My children greatly enjoyed watching the fish in the koi pond and the owner, Mr Mitchell, was kind enough to leave a bit of fish food so they could feed them. Mr. Mitchell responded quickly to all communications and went above and beyond to ensure our stay went smoothly. We forgot a few items upon our departure and he was immediately in touch to arrange for us to come by and pick them up. We chose this property on the strength of all the positive reviews and found that it lived up to them and then some. Thank you for a lovely week in the English countryside!

Lovely outside but very limitted inside
many people have reviewed this house and have given it a 5-Star-Rating. Not us. From the outside look, it is a really lovely and beautiful house. It's setting is ok, in the middle between two villages and within easy reach of the A25.
But... within easy reach also means the permanent noise from the A25. To avoid the noise in the front bedroom, the windowes are sealed. Also in the kitchen. In other words, neither in the bedroom, nor in the kitchen the windows can be opened. Especially in the bedroom, sleeping in very unconfortable with weather as nice as this year and no chance of airing or sleeping with a mild breeze.
Also a smaller bedroom, which leads to the 2nd bathroom can not be aired, alas no airing there. And no cupbord to hang up your clothes. Only a sofa to stapel them on.
The kitchen is equipped with exactly 6 items of knives, forks, plates and dinner plates. Either you wash your dishes after every meal or have the dishwasher running half empty every day. But be careful with that, we had the exact number of dishwascher tabs for our stay. So don't waste one! Or of cause, only take one meal a day.
The glasses and cups are not matching and having wine for 5 people -for which the house is set- is impossible, only 4 unmatching glasses. Same with pint glasses by the way.
The second bedroom with the en suite bathroom has a bed so small, it will test your marriage and there are only 4 places to sit in the living room.
So after all, yes the house looks very nice and is well kept, although it was not ready on our arrival day. The deck by the Koi pond is a perfect spot to sit in the evenings. But all that only from the outside! The interior was very poor. It was just the essentually needed and not a single bit more.
A proper tablecloth, not a wax one, matching glasses, enough plates to have breakfast and some scones in the afternoon, 5 wine glasses for 5 adults and also 5 beer glasses. This and windows, that can be opend would have made it a wonderful stay. But as it was, it was stuffy bedrooms, a lot of washing up and everyday tossing a coin, who was to drink what.
Disappointing compared to all the houses, we hat rented before. It was all only small thinmgs, but those small things make the difference between average rating and 5-Star rating.

Charming house in a beauriful garden.
My husband and I plus son and girlfriend stayed here for a week. The house is decorated and furnished to a high standard, the living room is lovely, with comfy sofas and satellite TV. There are some lovely touches in the house and a well equipped kitchen with everything you need. We only ever had breakfast, as we were in the area to visit our daughter and family who live nearby, in Westerham. We could walk there in half an hour, which was handy, as only our son came by car. It was good to have 2 bathrooms, plus there is an extra toilet off the kitchen. The bedrooms are nicely decorated with comfortable beds and pillows. Unfortunately, we couldn't enjoy the garden as there was an incredible heatwave while we were there, making sitting outside too hot, but we did admire the lovely plants, the fish and the pretty courtyard off the kitchen. There is plenty to do in the neighbourhood so the house is ideally situated for London, Heaver Castle, Chartwell house and other local sights. As others have mentioned, the house is on a busy road, but this is only really noticeable in the kitchen and front bedroom. The master bedroom was very quiet. We all enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to visitors to the area. Thank you Robert for a very pleasant stay.

I LOVE it - Charm!!!!
I can not say enough about Robert and Brasted Lodge. The property is lovely!!! The lodge was perfect for our family vacation. It had everything we could possible need and more; all the amenities you need, and, a home away from home feel to it.
My morning coffee by the Koi pond was my favorite time of the day. The deck, surrounding the pond, was our favorite spot to sit. There are pristine gardens, open fields, and farming on the scrolling property. Robert is a knowledgeable, personable, and accommodating host in every way. There wasn't a moment I didn't feel welcome and cared for. He's fantastic.
The location is great too. it's located between to charming towns, and a short drive to many scenic and historic sites. We went to the seaside in under an hour. It's also a 10 - 15 minute walk to a great pub, The Stanhope Arms, for delicious food and drinks. I can't wait to return for years to come.

My family (married couple and 2 daughters - 10 and 12) stayed in Brastead Lodge for a week. It was a perfect base for us as we look to find a more permanent home in the area (we are relocating from overseas).
The place is kept beautifully and credit to the owner, Rob, for wonderful design, layout and finishes, which are of a high quality. He was also prompt and attentive to any question we raised.
Thanks Rob - if we need a similar holiday home in the area, we would have no hesitation in staying here again; or recommending it to friends.

Brasted Lodge, is a spacious cottage that accommodated our family of five including 3 teenagers with comfort. Even though the weather was cool, the lodge was lovely and warm. The lodge was clean, well maintained and equipped with all you need to cook, launder clothes, watch tv and surf the internet with the supplied Wi-Fi. Off street parking is supplied, and a local grocery store, and restaurants are a short drive away in the charming village of Brasted.
The property owner was polite and friendly and a pleasure to do business with. For our holiday in the UK, Brasted Lodge was the ideal place to rest our weary heads after day trips out to the countryside and into London.

This was our family's fourth stay at Brasted Lodge. It is a lovely old lodge house with lots of space, big bedrooms and very well equipped kitchen. The sitting and dining room are nicely furnished and face the garden where, weather permitting, one can enjoy a cup of tea! It is a wonderful location just a short drive to Sevenoaks where main line trains will have you in London in 35 minutes. You are in the lovely countryside yet city life and the seaside are easy to reach. All round a great place to stay and Rob is extremely friendly and helpful.

We rented this lodge as our wedding reception was being held in westerham golf club, and the location was perfect for us. There was a private road that ran straight through to the golf club and meant that we could pop back really quickly for babysitters etc. the lodge itself is lovely - it was nice and clean, beds were very comfortable, and the space worked well for us. We also found it very cosy at night. We have 2 small children and the location of this lodge, meant that we were able to get married in the golf club with piece of mind that the children were almost with us!
