We delighted in the beautiful view and sunsets from the tower, which I painted in watercolor. Art objects in the house were inspirational. The quality cooking utensils helped with meals, keeping us within budget.

My family truly had a remarkable stay here. The house was incredibly charming and lovely, and the location was absolutely perfect for walks into town with my husband and little one. We truly loved our stay and being here.

Victorian castle unique opportunity for rental

Management accused us of to many people and that she was coming to do a head count. The shower leaked on to the main floor cameras everywhere felt like we had no privacy had that feeling like we were being watched lights flickered all the time wouldn’t recommend that house to anyone

The house was beautiful, impeccably clean and had everything you need for a very comfortable stay. It was filled with little private nooks and spaces for groups to gather. Bally the host was very quick to respond and pleasant. Would love to stay here again!

This property is one of the best we have stayed at in over 20 years of using VRBO virtually every summer. The house itself is very comfortable, well appointed and full of a wide range of art and books. We really enjoyed the privacy that this property affords, as you the lot size is large and you have no immediate neighbors. Maximum advantage has been taken of the lot with extensive and lovely tree-shaded outdoor decks. This is a primo rental and good value.

It was so nice being close to downtown Cambria while still having several spots in and around the house to view the ocean. This made for beautiful sunsets! The property was clean and well stocked and the manager was accessible for questions and assistance.

Had a great stay at this property. Plenty of outdoor space to enjoy. Fully equipped kitchen. Very clean and quiet. Easy walk to restaurants and shops. Not an issue for our family but would not be good for those who cannot walk stairs.

Wonderful house furnished with period pieces to accent the "Victorian" theme. Kitchen has everything one needs to cook a fancy dinner. Upstairs Master bedroom is huge and there is a view in the distance of the ocean. More stairs outside lead to beautiful decks.

We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay at the Castle house. The house itself is very charming. The beds were very comfortable and the linens felt luxurious. The location is convenient, walking distance to the village. We would rent this place again.

It's exceptionally well located, within walking distance or a very short drive from the beach, restaurants, and other wonderful locations in town. Bally is a very prompt communicator and very kind.

Really interesting sort of modern gothic fusion decor, lots going on in and around the house. Unusual sculptures. Neighborhood is quite interesting, and should be experienced afresh by guests as it unfolds through their familiarity That's why I gave my only 4 star (rather than 5 for the rest) rating on "accuracy of online listing." The aspect that could be seen as missing is fun, the unusual juxtaposition of the home and its contents, and the immediate neighborhood. Maybe it was just our group. Not boring! Beyond that, the place is spacious, makes for easy indoor/outdoor living, private with good vantage point on immediate surround, well-equipped, well-located, quiet while being right there in town, and as noted, a little quirky. Wildlife abound (I even heard Great Horned Owl nearby the last night). Thank you for the perfect place for our reunion.

And views from the house are amazing including the view of the ocean. BUT the very best part is the outdoor space. There are a bunch of porches. The front porches are great for a meal or a cocktail. The back has two porches wrapped around a tree and surrounded by nature. We listened to owls and other birds in the mornings while sipping chai. And the amount of flowers and exotic plants in this yard is beyond imagination. I suspect over 100 species can be found! It is so beautiful to walk around and just look at the plants. I rent many amazing places from these platforms and this is one of my all-time favorites. It was only 35 mins away from the fiber optic light-art installation that happens annually. Pair them together for an epic weekend. The wifi was fast too.

Very clean and well appointed property that is fully and accurately depicted in the listing. We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the chilled wine that welcomed us! We also like strolling down to the village shops and restaurants nearby.
