Our family loved the location. Easy access to the freeway as well as to Carlsbad beaches and the Carlsbad Village. The house was perfect for our family of four! We will be back!

Our stay was short but the house worked great for our young family. It was equipped well for our needs and there is a grocery store very close by. Would stay here again!

Very family oriented, the neighborhood is very nice, quite and location a short drive to the beach and Lego land. Property was well maintained, couldn’t ask for anything better. On behalf of our 3 generations of family members that stayed here, I’m glad we did.

The rental had everything we needed for our family beach vacation. I especially appreciated all the beach toys, chairs, umbrellas, wagon, etc that we were able to use. The place was clean and comfortable and the owner very responsive. Highly recommend!

Nice stay and convenient location
Convenient location- can walk to beach or downtown shops and restaurants in Carlsbad. Also close to highway for other trips. We appreciated the 2 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms for our group. Furnishings were great, although the mattress in the master probably needs to be replaced. (A bit saggy and squeaky.)

Thanksgiving get away
So happy we found this place in one of our favorite towns. Close drive to the beach and great food. Can’t beat 75 degrees in November. Comfortable beds and furniture. Plenty of room for 5 of us.

Great Carlsbad Location
What a great rental. Very clean, comfortable, and very close to everything. Beach, Shops, and all the great restaraunts are within a 5 minute drive or 10 minute walk.

Spacious house
This house was great and had a lot of space for our family of 6. When we arrived the refrigerator door handle had crusty stuff on it as well as the kitchen faucet. Once I cleaned those it was fine. In this COVID environment it made me doubtful that high-touch areas were actually cleaned and disinfected. After our first day at the beach I went to throw a load of beach towels in the washing machine and it was full of wet cleaning rags and gloves. Gross!
The bedrooms are large which was very nice. And having 2 bathrooms was great after spending a day at the beach. The walk is a little long, but it is doable, even with kids.

Nice big rooms
We enjoyed this property very much. The rooms were a good size and fit our two families comfortably. There were a lot of great beach toys, chairs, a cooler on wheels, and beach towels that made our stay more enjoyable. They also had some great children’s books in the drawers. The walk to the beach was about 15-20 minutes with children. Loved that they had air conditioning!

This place was the perfect size, location, etc. There was plenty of information on the house and area provided in advance. We really enjoyed our stay and the cozy feel of the house. We'll be back for sure!

The 4th in Carlsbad
Our family had a wonderful week in Carlsbad. The home was clean, well equipped and exactly as described. We got our steps in walking to the beach and village, but the weather was wonderful.

Great location, beautiful house
Great spot for a short or long term stay. We stayed three nights with two kids and grandparents. House was clean and well stocked. An added bonus was the sand toys and boogie boards. Would highly recommend this property and owner. Thanks for a great stay!

Nice house that provided what we needed
The house is clean and provided all of the necessities that we needed to act as home base on our excursions to Legoland, the zoo, Sea World, La Jolla beach, etc. The proximity to the freeway, Starbucks and Vons made daily life easy.

Jim was very easy to work with. Place was clean, neat and comfortable. 1/2 mile walk to the beach and Downtown. Convenient to grocery and freeway in the other direction. Would stay there again!

Perfect!
Loved this house! It was clean and well kept and only a few minutes from a beautiful beach. We loved that there were boogie boards, beach toys, chairs and an umbrella. It made packing up our family for a long vacation so much easier. We've stayed in a few houses near the beach in CA and this was definately one of best! This is a place that we would rent again. The owner was also very quick to respond to emails when I had a question during our stay.

Wonderful property
The house was exactly as advertised with bunk beds for kids and 2 full bathrooms. The place was very clean and had all necessary amenities. Only 5 minute walk to the beach and 10 minutes to Carlsbad village. Owner very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again!

Nice spot near the beach and downtown
We enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and organized with plenty of utensils to cook with, a great grill that was maintained well and lots of towels and beach towels with some beach items, boogy boards and whatnot if you're beaching it. Jim was very helpful and accommodating. He has 2 homes together which would be great for a family reunion. Close to town, the beach and freeway access. We would stay there again.

This home is is spacious, clean and new! It is also centrally located to the 5, 101, Town of Carlsbad & The Beach. Everyday I walked to town and the beach. It also has great parking!

Perfect house for our family!
This was a perfect house for our family! It is a single level duplex. You park right by the front door. We are a family of 7 (5 children) and we fit in this house quite comfortably. The whole house was completely remodeled within the last year or two. It was really clean and had everything we needed: great kitchen, bath towels and beach towels, nice washer and dryer, comfortable linens, plus a nice selection of children's books and puzzles to keep the kids occupied while we cooked dinner. The location was perfect for us. We were in the San Diego area to visit old friends, see the coast and take the kids to Lego Land. The house is really close to Lego Land!

Great Location
Such a nice vacation home in a great location. We had 3 adults and 2 young kids (ages 3 & 5) and everyone had enough space to relax after long days at the beach, Legoland, etc.

The property was very well maintained and clean and was stocked with everything we needed.
We rented this property for a weekend gathering with our two grown children and their significant others. The three bedroom house was plenty large enough for us to have our own space but all gather in the common areas. The furnishings were in good shape and the place was very clean. Although we were not right on the beach, it was only a ten to fifteen-minute walk to get to a very nice, clean beach. The house was stocked with everything that we needed for cooking or relaxing at the beach. Jim, our contact, was very responsive to any questions I had before we arrived. It was our first experience with VRBO and we couldn't have been more pleased.

This is the perfect place to stay for families with young kids. All the beach toys are included. The house is very well taken care of and very clean. We brought our 3 kids and everyone had a great time!
