Property was easy to enjoy with plenty of space inside and out. We spent time in the pool every day, enjoyed kayaking & paddle boarding in the harbor, biked to the seven mile bridge a few times and you are close to a lot of great restaurants.

House was very well equipped. Met all our needs. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals. The outdoor space and pool were fabulous!

We have stayed at a few palces in Marathon and this place is wonderful. Good location, clean, great amenities with a heated pool. The place has everything advertised and more. We would definitely stay here again

This was the second time we have stayed here. We enjoyed it just as much as the first. I love the pool and the general location of the house since it's pretty central in Marathon. Trish, the property manager was great to deal with and we never had to wait if we had a question about something. We all loved the new outdoor furniture upgrade since the last time we were there. You never know... we may be back again some day!!

We have rented many places in the past but this home was really great. Here’s what made it awesome, 1. Pool was lovely and heated! 2. We’ll stocked kitchen. 3. Owner had gone the extra mile on the outdoor furniture. 4. They even had a basket of beach towels for your use. 5. Bicycles and Kayaks to use with no additional rental fees. Really a nice place. My only cons would be that this house was off the beaten path. And the neighbors roosters woke me every morning very early! Neither of these would stop me from renting this place again!

This property has everything you need for a relaxing vacation . The location gives easy access to the gulf or the ocean by boat .. Plenty of options for restaurants and bars near by .

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful canal front home in Marathon. The house is just as described. Very comfortable, clean and equipped with everything you need. The property manager makes the check in and check out process easy and is available if needed to answer any questions. The pool is amazing and we enjoyed seeing the manatees swim up to the property. Great place to stay and located near stores and restaurants. We had a fantastic time and hope to be back!

The house was all we hoped it would be. We would not hesitate to stay again. The pool was amazing, the beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was great. We had access to bikes, kayaks and paddle boards. The manatees were so fun to watch. We had no issues whatsoever and we could not have been happier. Definitely recommend!

What a wonderful home. The owners have thought of everything! Boot key is beautiful, the pool was so relaxing and we had visits with the manatees. We biked, kayaked and paddle boarded . Loved kayaking at low tide , we were able to find starfish. We rented a boat for three days and we’re able to keep it right out front! The manatees were probably our favorite as they hung around to provide entertainment. Both the owner and property manager were very responsive. If you are looking for a private home with your own resort feel, this is your place. Thank you for sharing your home with us!!

This home is the perfect vacation rental! It is incredibly clean and has everything you need and more! The kitchen was very well equipped with clean and quality cooking supplies. If we needed something, we found it! It had plenty of dishes, an AMAZING blender for cocktails and a clean pantry for our groceries. This property is very well taken care of! We could tell that the throw blankets in the family room were washed before our arrival. The outdoor space was attended to as well as the indoor space. This place was equipped with enough stuff to keep my family entertained! We loved all of the outdoor details.....shades for the upper deck area for when the sun got too hot, fans underneath the deck by the lounge chairs, two umbrellas on the patio, outdoor shower, paddle boards, kayaks, bikes, foosball table, cornhole, tiki toss, fishing poles, sandy area, pool toys & floaties. We are so happy with this vacation rental and can't wait to come back again!

We had a great time at the house. The kayaks, paddle boards, bikes and foosball were all great additions. The only downside is the first impression when entering the neighborhood. It’s not an upscale neighborhood, but we had no issues. The neighborhood was quite, we didn’t see many people. We loved the location for the proximity to the 7 mile bridge. We rented a boat, and it was great to be on the gulf or ocean within 15 minutes. Especially nice when the ocean was too windy, we could quickly get to the gulf. Overall we had a great vacation.

We stayed at Bootkey for two weeks. 4 adults. Bootkey house worked very well for us. Loved the pool, used it every day. Nice deck with stools and snack bar. Used often for meals. Could see manatees while eating breakfast. Very nice kitchen, used it lots. We had brought our bikes and kayaks. Enjoyed the kayaking. Found local bike riding to be somewhat difficult. Bike trails are not very long. Constantly starting then stopping. Sidewalks are very busy. 7 mile bike bridge, (2 miles for walking and biking) is great. Wish it was longer. Will stay at Bootkey if were to go to the keys again.

What great place to stay!!! 4 adults and 2 children 6 and 4 years old. Loved the heated pool and being able to catch fish in the canal. The house has everything you need to have a great keys vacation! Property manger was quick to answer any of our questions. We will be booking again soon!!!

The property was everything it claimed to be. The house accommodations were fantastic and the kitchen had all the amenities you could need. We stayed for thanksgiving and made a pie! The pool was amazing. The kids enjoyed swimming. Being right on the water was so nice. We were able to see jellyfish, stingray, and manatees! We used the kayaks and bikes . It had everything we needed

We came down for our honeymoon and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for the week. The location is awesome, we met the super friendly neighbors, and the house/pool were just what we wanted. The sunrise/sunset views are unbeatable and we can’t wait to come back and stay again!

My husband and I spent our honeymoon at the Bootkey house and loved it. The home was clean and organized. The location is perfectly hidden in Marathon and perfect for renting a boat, fishing, and being on the water. My only complaint is that the beds are rather firm. My husband and I almost bought mattress toppers since our stay was so long. Other than that it was perfect and we would definitely book again. The host made herself available whenever needed. Thank you for letting us enjoy your house for our honeymoon, we loved it!

Outstanding property. Immaculately clean and well furnished. Great location within minutes from all the activities in the marathon area. Initial location can be a bit deceiving but once you are there, it feels totally remote and quiet. Plenty of room for a couple or small family to spread out. Also, great high speed Internet service for those who, like us, have to be accessible to the office.

This home is extremely well-appointed and clean. Everything you could possibly need to prepare meals can be found in the kitchen. The location is very quiet and the views are absolutely gorgeous! The beds, couch and pull-out mattress were all so comfortable (you have to tell me where you purchased the couch)! The washer and dryer were nice to have in the home to be able to keep up with the laundry, and the ice machine and refrigerator in the garage were also convenient for drinks and fishing bait. The outdoor space was more than enough for a family of seven to all hang out without being on top of one another or in each others way and was one of my favorite things about this home. The bicycles, paddle boards and kayaks were enjoyed by all and allowed us to enjoy other activities without having to incur additional expenses. The grocery store and Sombrero Beach is just a short drive down the road which makes the location of this home even more appealing. The check-in process hit a snag on our arrival day but the property owner was extremely responsive and immediately responded to our request for the access code. There is only one recommendation I would make and that would be to provide a broom and dust pan to allow guests to keep the floors free of food crumbs and sand :) (my son thought I was crazy because I mentioned I wish there was a broom lol). Other than that, everything was well thought-out and perfect! We are truly grateful we had the opportunity to enjoy our keys vacation in your home. Nobody wanted to leave...not even my son whom hates hot beach destinations so it meant the world to me to know he thoroughly enjoyed himself as well. So many great memories were made during our stay that we're all still talking about it and look forward to returning again the next time we plan a trip to Marathon. Thank you, thank you, thank you for providing the perfect accommodations!!!

Our second time here. Place has been refurbished since last visit. Last time was excellent, this time was also excellent. All the amenities for either a “busy” vacation, or a “relaxed” vacation. We chose relaxed and throughly enjoyed it. House was clean and fully stocked and ready to go. Trish was great as well. Thanks and we’ll be back.

We spent spring break here and it was the perfect place to be. Great house, bedrooms were comfortable and the use of the kayaks and paddle board were great. Beautiful place to have some down time and relax. Would definitely stay here again! Bonus was seeing the manatees almost every day!
