Quite disappointed. No communication with hostess Front door lock did not work. Had to call owner for temp control Shower control dysfunctional.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed staying here and seeing the animals, including a few deer. The owners were very nice and hospitable. It was a very peaceful and relaxing time in the country while yet only ten minutes from town. We like taking photographs so we went to several covered bridges in the area, as well as the New River Gorge Bridge which was about an hour away. Lost World Cavern is in Lewisburg too. I would highly recommend this to others. M. B.

The property was fine. Very comfortable living place and sleeping space. Loved watch the farm animals from the back deck. Did not minded the rough ride in, having been in the area before, we came prepared in my pickup truck (which we needed giving all the stuff my wife brings along, LOL). My only suggestions would be hook up the TV to get channels and maybe more cooking appliances.

We absolutely loved our stay at this peaceful property. It was soooo clean (my wife and I are so particular about that) and was exactly as pictured in the listing. We would definitely recommend this property and we look forward to another visit in the future!

This is the perfect place to relax and enjoy serene landscapes and a well appointed living area. The cozy suite is very nicely decorated, comfortable and the patio is a great spot to unwind and take in the wonderful views of the ranch! From the horses, goats, sheep, ducks and all of the other farm animals, it it truly a unique experience. Cheryl and Brooke are such gracious hosts and made our stay one to remember! We also got to meet all of their dogs which was an added bonus! Brooke was also kind enough to take us on an extended tour of the property which was awesome! Cheryl and Brooke were super hosts. Very helpful if you needed them but respectful of our privacy. Would highly recommend for a relaxing vacation but if you want things to do there is no lack of that. Would definitely stay again.

Cheryl and Brooke were awesome hosts. Their farm is a working farm with adorable creatures, especially the goats! They have a lovely hiking path around the perimeter of the property and it was fun just watching and hearing all the animals. The town of Lewisburg is very cute with a large array of restaurants.

What a relaxing and refreshing time away from the busyness of life. Your location nestled in the valley between the mountains was perfect! We loved waking up to the sound of the farm animals and watching them graze the pastures. Sooo peaceful! Thank you for your hospitality!

We had a wonderful and relaxing time staying at Cheryl and Brooke's farm! The suite was clean, spacious, and had a great deck good for reading and coffee in the AM. It's close to a lot of hiking and attractions, and exploring Lewisburg was a huge plus! We really enjoyed the hiking trails on the property as well. Highly recommend for a getaway!

What a wonderful place! We had such a good time there - exploring the farm trails and meadows, roasting smores over the campfire, watching the sheep & horses & goats, eating breakfast on the porch. It's a great location - it's such an idyllic & peaceful farm setting that it feels far away from everything, yet only a short drive to town, and close to so many different parks & forests that we had a really hard time picking which hikes to do. The place is lovely inside too - it actually feels larger & more luxurious in person than the pictures show. (We especially enjoyed the comfy recliner!) Thank you, Cheryl and Brooke! We're already hoping we can make it back again sometime :)

My wife and I had a great stay at the property. The owners were pleasent to talk with and helpful. The space was very clean and well designed for our getaway. There is one small thing that could have improved the stay, the rental space shares an AC with the main home, and it would have been ideal to have a small AC window unit for the bedroom to keep that area a little cooler. The owners did mentioned a couple times to let them if we wanted the AC turned to a lower temp but I didn’t feel like bugging them lol. This was a wonderful place, very well decorated and on a beautiful piece of land:)

We were looking for an alternative to a hotel for a home away from home while working at the State Fair. CB Ranch was perfect! We are used to the quiet of country living, and enjoyed the space to relax at night. The space is very tastefully decorated and comfortable. Cheryl and Brooke are very thoughtful and helpful hosts. This property is gorgeous and the rooms are perfect. Private and well-appointed with all the little detailed extras (only better) that a hotel room would provide. I can’t say enough about how delighted we were with our first VRBO. The home is really not far from downtown Lewisburg. We enjoyed our dinner (brought in) on the private deck overlooking pastures of horses, sheep and goats and watching a deer run through the field. Morning coffee, same spot on the deck. Thank you to our hosts for giving us a tour of you farm. I only wish we could have relaxed there longer. If you’re wondering if you should stay here, you should. Book it.

Came to run Greenbrier Half and didn’t want to pay exorbitant price of the resort. Found this gem that was a great price and so much nicer! Brooke was kind enough to take us for a tour of the property, Cheryl found a toaster I could use for my bagel and we felt totally at home. Comfortable living room, amazing deck to watch the horses and goats. Love the bathroom and good water pressure. Plenty of light. Highly recommend this off the beaten path place!

I was looking for a private, quiet refreshing getaway from people & Adulting; I found it at CB Ranch! It's perfect! The house is spacious & decorated with older, gorgeous furniture! It may not have a kitchen, but I won't planning to cook on Vacation anyway & the refrigerator, coffee maker & microwave were all I needed! The Property Owner Cheryl was so helpful with anything or any questions I had before & during my vacation! The views of nature & hearing all the different wildlife from the House & patio were refreshing! Only 4 miles from town, I had plenty of food options to pick from! I will definitely be back! I've found my private, quiet refreshing getaway!

My husband, John, and I were alone for the first time in over 19 years for Thanksgiving. We had visited Lewisburg, WV in August on a weekend, found the area to be delightful, and knew we wanted to return. Therefore, we decided to return for Thanksgiving, but wanted to stay in a pocket-friendly place--preferably near Lewisburg; and, boy did we find it! C B Ranch is the perfect getaway--especially if you love nature. Cheryl and Brook Bidish are wonderful hosts, who respect your privacy, but also are available for advise, offer friendly conversation, or offer help if needed/wanted. The suite is private, comfortable, and spacious enough for 2-3, maybe 4, people. Add to the fact that the suite is surrounded by 100 acres of woods, trails, horses, sheep, goats, and other four-legged friends, well, C B Ranch is just the perfect retreat for rest and restoration. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND C B RANCH!

The hosts are great - thoughtful and super friendly to speak with when our paths crossed but they really do respect your privacy. The house is exactly as in the photos: gorgeous views, beautifully decorated, and comfortable. We loved watching the goats carry on while enjoying our coffee and the quiet morning from the private balcony. The property is honestly an easy 4 mile drive from downtown Lewisburg but feels very remote. There is so much to do in the area - shopping downtown, the Lost World Caverns, The Greenbrier, tours and tastings at Smooth Ambler and Hawk Knob Hard Cider & Mead - and many more places to see next time!

My husband and I had a wonderful time staying at CB Ranch. The beautiful suite filled with antiques and artwork was very homey. We loved sitting on the deck having our coffee and watching the horses, sheep, goats and scenery. It was nice to have a microwave to cook our oatmeal and refrigerator to store juice, milk and snacks, of course it was very nice of Cheryl to leave juice, water and muffins for our first morning. We chose staying here, since it is close to the Greenbrier River Trail to bike, which was very scenic. We were fortunate to see a Bald Eagle at the Lewisburg part of the trail, prior to that day we biked Marker 38 to go through the Droop Mt. Tunnel (very cool). The town of Lewisburg is very quaint and enjoyed eating dinner in town, especially Food and Friends, the steak was delicious. The Wild Bean had great breakfast sandwiches and coffee. Another plus was being able to walk out your door and hike CB Ranch's Trail up the mountain, how beautiful the sky and mountains are at the top of the trail. Thank you to Brooke for keeping the path mowed and giving a map of the trail. My husband enjoyed mountain biking the trail too. We enjoyed our morning talks with Cheryl and Brooke. They win the award for hostess with the mostest. There is still so much more we want to do and see, so we will definitely be back in the future. What a wonderful place to stay, The suite was Great and the location was fantastic. . We wanted a place that had privacy but still close to the fair and Lewisburg and this was it. our host Cheryl was amazing, anything we needed she took care of. I would highly recommend CBRanch. Close to eveything!

I loved my stay here. It was scenic on the outside and lovely on the inside. Its located in an area that's close to town but on a large property that even has hiking trails that we enjoyes.Cheryl and Brooke were available to answer any questions. They were wonderful hosts.

Cheryl and Brooke are the ultimate hosts and innkeepers always making sure we were comfortable. They made us feel like family. The suite accommodations were neat, clean, decorative, and private. We enjoyed the Greenbrier River Trail which is close-by as well as the other activities around town. The CB Ranch is very close to town, yet a beautiful country road takes you to their entrance. Horses, goats, sheep, and other pets were great entertainment. Quiet surroundings and star-lit nights--We definitely plan to return.
