I LOVED staying here. Easy access to two tube lines so it was half an hour to just about anywhere in the city, and an hour to the airport. The owner is an artist so her house is beautifully appointed with a lot of personality, and she was communicative and friendly throughout. In the summer the garden is gorgeous, with fresh apples and raspberries to enjoy. This is exactly what VRBO is all about in my opinion -- discovering hidden gems and meeting great people. I wish I had more than five stars to give!

This was a very stressful experience. I booked 3 nights with Home Away to have some time to myself. The owner didn't leave. She asked me if it was OK if she stayed and that she'd go to a friend's house the next day. I said OK but she didn't leave the 2nd day, either. I decided to leave one day early, but then found out it was past the 12 hours deadline to file a complaint or get a refund. I just wanted a place to myself, so I got a hotel room. If this ever happens again with any other property, I'll leave right away and get a refund.

We stayed for 5 days while visiting London. The location is great. An easy walk to the underground and you can get anywhere you need to go. The flat is clean, comfortable and quiet. Stella was great, helpful and easy to contact!

Stella is very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed staying in her apartment. We could use kitchen, washing machine, Stella provided everything for the bathroom, tea, coffee etc. We liked neighborhood and transportation around. Close to the city center.

Nice area, close to public transit, pubs, and other locations. Great host. Would recommend.

Far from central area

Stella's home is very convenient to 2 tubes and a perfect distance from the centre of London.She made us very welcome and her home was very comfortable, light and airy. The garden was a bonus. Overall our accommodation added to a great holiday

We live in Bath and we chose to rent this London flat this Christmas for my mother's sake as she cannot manage the stairs in our house. This flat is accessible and parking was easy, just as promised.

Super convenient for travel into London and Heathrow. Modest bedroom but spacious apartment provides adequate balance. Shared bathroom was a surprise. Stella is a very helpful host. All in all, great value.

We could not have asked for a better place to stay for our trip to London. Stella's home is beautiful, so comfortable, and functional, and located in a beautiful, quite neighborhood. It is only a short walk to two Stations to get you everywhere you need to be from the airport to anywhere in London and beyond. Pretty much everything is within a 15 minute tube ride. We would definitely recommend this HomeAway to everyone we know!

From the moment we stepped foot inside this lovely garden flat, we were at home. Stella wasn't in when we first arrived, but Gabi was there to let us in, explain the set up, and get us properly situated. The room was exactly as stated, and was tidy, and inviting. The flat itself was cozy, and perfect to return to after a long day of exploring the city, or an evening at the local pub. We had full use of the kitchen, and very much enjoyed shopping for ourselves daily at the local markets through out neighborhood, and those surrounding it, and cooking for ourselves instead of dining out or getting take away/carry out. There is a lovely attached sun room that leads to the garden out back, and it is especially nice to sit in in the early morning or at night. Finsbury Park station is a short walk where you can catch the tube, and if you don't care to walk the entire way, there is a bus stop near the top of the street. We took an Uber from Heathrow, but had we known how easy it would be to ride the tube, or that there are dedicated spots for luggage, or that the tube goes directly from the airport to Finsbury Station, we'd have just bought a one way ticket and taken it instead. We'd have saved time, and about Stella left for us many helpful things to assist with navigating our way around, such as a map of the city and tube schedule, etc., and several museum, gallery, and theater recommendations as well. She even provided Oyster cards that we could top off using them, instead of having to buy our own, as we would have had to otherwise. Her efforts helped us make the most of our time there. We were fortunate enough to spend some time with Stella at the flat, which we enjoyed tremendously. She is charming, and lovely, not to mention quite a talented artist. We would definitely stay at this property again.

The flat itself is exactly as pictured, artfully decorated, bright and spacious. Located in zone 2 close to underground stations, two parks, many restaurants, cafes and shops. Our host, Stella, was lovely, accommodating and helpful. She was happy to share tips and info on how to get around and where to go and what to see. Certainly recommend.
