5 minute drive from Main Street. Clean and comfortable.

The apartment suited our needs and the hosts were friendly and responsive. The area in the back is forested with a creek and was beautiful. Our biggest issue was mosquitoes, which is obviously not the fault of the hosts. We came in late May and the mosquitoes were everywhere, so that when entering we would rush to close the door to minimize the number of mosquitoes that came in with us. The apartment had a screen door, and that helped. All in all, our hosts did everything to make us comfortable, and we had a very nice stay.

Clean and comfortable little studio equipped with everything you need for a couple of days. Stayed with my wife and our dog for 3 nights and had a great time. Good proximity to downtown Lake Placid while still being "in the woods".

Quiet location, 5 minute drive to downtown and close to ski jump complex which was my main target. Owners very nice. Zero complains. The only wish I have is that this should be my property lol

My husband and I loved our stay in this cozy studio apartment! The location was perfect, everything was very clean, and the apartment was super comfortable. A perfect place to come back to after a day outside. We would highly recommend if you are looking for a place to stay in the area, and we will definitely be back!

This studio apartment met all our needs! Our hosts were delightful and offered some suggestions of places to explore since we are amateur photographers and we were not disappointed. The studio is no more than a 5 minute drive to downtown. The unit opens out to a deck which overlooks a babbling creek even in winter! We hope to come back!!!

This was my third time staying at this great, cozy studio apartment and was wonderful to be welcomed again. It is a perfect place to relax after a day out snowshoeing or exploring the town. So close to the main street but in a quiet, safe neighbourhood. Thanks for hosting us again - Samson and I love coming down for our annual visit!

This property was exceptional in every way. The layout was well organized (and, pleasantly, a bit larger than we expected based upon the photos) and efficient. The furnishings and bed were comfortable. It was also completely spotless. Located in a quiet wooded location, it was easy to find and just a short (20ish minute) walk to downtown Lake Placid. Communication with the owner was just right and instructions, both beforehand as well as those in the unit itself, were clear and concise. Couldn't have been a better place to stay - enthusiastically recommended.

We chose this rental with the two of us in mind. It more than met our expectations. The location was good. It met all our needs and was very comfortable. We loved the view of the stream out back. When asked, Kathy kindly lent us a big pot to make pasta. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to someone else and hope to come back someday.

We had an amazing time in Lake Placid celebrating our 28th anniversary. The studio apartment was just right for the two of us!

The studio was perfect for us! Very close to lake placid village, exceptionally clean, and the owners provided all the little things you need such as hand towels, dishwashing soap, paper towels, iron, etc. Although we were out exploring daily, we enjoyed our stay there. it was quiet, had a nice size flat screen tv, and even had an outdoor sitting area for coffee in the morning. Would definitely come back!

My 15 yo daughter and I spent 5 days/4 nights hiking and exploring the Lake Placid area. The apt was very clean, close to town that you could drive or even walk (longer) to. Mirror lake was wonderful and they have live music in the evenings. I would definitely stay again!

I randomly stumbled on this great find when searching for a simple place to stay while planning a weekend getaway with my boyfriend and dog and I’m so glad I found it! We didn’t need anything fancy nor did we want to pay for all the extras at other places in town. Plus I could bring my dog along!!! No AC but the studio never felt really hot and they provided a fan if you need it. Far enough from downtown for some quietness but close enough that it’s almost right down the street. Kathy was great about communicating and everything was as expected. We would love to come back another time!

This property was perfect for two and our pets. Everything was super clean and the host were super quick to respond to any questions. The location was perfect for a walk to the center of Lake Placid. The bed was very comfortable. We would definitely like to return in the future.

The VRBO rental was clean, well designed, and very affordable. Furthermore, the owners were responsive and seemed to really care about the property and their guests. Plus it is dog friendly which is great for people that love to travel with their four legged friend.

The place was so close to downtown Lake Placid. It worked out perfect! The host was also super great at communicating and helped facilitate when we wanted to extend our stay. The little apartment was better than expected with wonderful features. My only tiny note is that the heating/ac was not very responsive to adjustments, but we just opened the sliding door if it was too hot for us. Would definitely stay again!

The pictures don't do it justice. This is a neat place, very clean, with all kinds of little amenities thoughtfully arranged. The owners were friendly and easy to deal with. I would not hesitate coming back.

My husband and I enjoyed a two night stay while attending ski races this past weekend. This is a cute, well-equipped studio within walking distance to town while off-the beaten path. Appreciated the cleanliness, comfort, and value of this great acommodation! All you need for a weekend away in Lake Placid!
