We had a great family vacation. The spacious open floor plan allowed anyone in the kitchen, living room and dining area, able to see and talk to each other anytime. The kitchen was even larger than it looked in the pictures, with a long wrap around counter behind the entire bar top area. The patio area is large as well with a lot of seating and of course we enjoyed bbq'ing. Having garage parking was also a plus for us. Easy & quick communication with our host is something I always value and LJ is a wonderful host. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

The cabin was the perfect space for our group and in the best neighborhood. It looked exactly as described in pictures and everything was clean and beautifully decorated. We will definitely be back.

This was our 3rd Christmas in Big Bear and had no interest in returning to the previous properties, but this cabin in The Exclusive Castle Glen Estates felt like home. There was more then enough space for our group of 10. We were able to eat at the table together, lounge in the living room together, and the kitchen had a lot of space to prepare meals. These simple things can prove difficult with a group our size. There were so many games in the office that we really didn't need to bring our own. Unloading and loading up were a breeze given that we had access to the garage and could just back into it to get the job done quickly. The electric fireplace made it cozy and no need for the wood we brought. The spa was wonderful after a day on the sloops. All the neighbors were very friendly during our walks. The fenced back yard was wonderful so that our pup could do her business off leash with us there with her. Always supervise your pups even in a fenced backyard, coyotes can jump up to 8ft. Big Bear Mountain was only a 10 minute drive and any other store we needed was less than that. We will definitely be returning!!

We had a great week in Big Bear at this large and well furnished home. We only had 2 minor issues which were quickly addressed by the owner who was very accessible. The kids enjoyed the jacuzzi and we all enjoyed the living room for the TV, karaoke, charades, and a 1,000 piece puzzle.

Super cozy cabin in a lovely neighborhood. Close to town. Super clean. Lots of chirping birds and visiting squirrels and chipmunks. Comfy living room with a beautiful rock fireplace.

We enjoyed our stay at this house very much - one of the best VRBO experiences to date! The house was clean, warm, stocked with games, cooking gear, plenty of towels and blankets. It's very conveniently located and a great place to come back to after a day of snow activities. The view is gorgeous, the beds are comfy, and there's plenty of space for family and friends. LJ was such a gracious host. Very responsive, hospitable and understanding. His home was exceptional! Great location, good space, clean, had everything we needed for it to feel like a home. Hot tub was legit!!! Very relaxing. Also, there were lots of space for sledding at the back yard. It was the perfect winter getaway!! Thank you so much LJ for everything. We will definitely be back!

The home and neighborhood are lovely. The house was extremely clean and had everything we needed for a snowy weekend getaway. The kitchen was fully stocked and easy to cook all meals. Kids had a great time playing on the property and enjoyed the covered hot tub while fresh snow fell. We will definitely be back!

We went up for our kids first weekend in the snow. The house is beautiful and well kept. The rooms are a great size, especially the kids bedroom. We enjoyed the backyard and the open space behind the backyard- it was great for sledding! The jacuzzi was a lot of fun, too. I liked that it was in a nice neighborhood, too. Lord of beautiful homes. We would definitely come back!

The property is nicely kept and cozy. The only negatives would be the spider webs throughout and many broken lights needing replacement. The house and sheets/towels smelled so strongly of fragrance and it was definitely overwhelming and unpleasant. Hopefully they can use better products to clean between stays. Otherwise, would recommend.

Very happy with our stay in this home. Really loved the atmosphere and the neighborhood everything about this home. Very beautiful home, decor, love the design, backyard, snow in the backyard for the kids. Really looking forward to visiting thus home again next year this time for the summer.

We have been coming up to BB for the past 6 years. This is by far the best place for us! My daughter and her children were in the upstairs bedrooms and we were downstairs in the master. There is also another bedroom on the main floor. The kitchen was fully stocked, so you really need nothing. The fireplace is gas, which was a big plus for us. The kids had fun sledding down the hill in the backyard and we all had a great time in the jacuzzi! Glenwood estates is a wonderful neighborhood. Close to Snow Play, which our grandkids loved. Check in was easy. I really can't say enough good things about this home. Looking forward to coming back next year!

Cabin is in a lovely neighborhood close to markets. Decor was beautiful. The backyard opened to national forest which the 3 pre-teens enjoyed exploring. This was a very comfortable and classic mountain cabin with plenty of room for 6 adults and 5 children. Host was very responsive to any questions and offered early check-in due to no prior guest. Would definitely consider this property in the future.

This property was so great and the pictures don't do its justice. It has a great layout with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom on the first floor and 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom on the 2nd floor. it has a great open backyard and our kiddos had a great time playing in the snow. Big Bear Snow Play is only about 5 minutes away and was a great way to take advantage of the snow day. property was beautifully decorated and we really appreciated how kid friendly it was (we had a 2, 4, 4, and 5 year old with us). Thanks LJ! Will definitely stay again!

Our family of 4 stayed with another family of 4 (kids ages 8-11). The overall property was well kept and spacious. We did not utilize the outdoor area much because it was a short weekend stay. Kitchen was equip with anything you would need to cook a meal, make coffee, etc. Living and dining area comfortably accommodated our group. The layout of bedrooms was perfect. Kids slept upstairs split between 2 bedrooms and adults slept in the 2 downstairs bedrooms. Lots of new construction happening in this quiet neighborhood, but it did not impact our enjoyment of the property! We would happily stay again.

Beautiful home and very spacious. We loved the outdoor decks. Just a few little things; no hand towels or wash cloths in the bathrooms. There were several bent window & door screens, so it was hard to keep bugs out at night. The screen door on the upstairs master bedroom slider is installed backawards, which made it very hard to open/close. Big spiderwebs inside on the knickknacks, especially in the kitchen window.

The home was better than expected, the photos do not do it justice. Extremely well equipped, spacious and comfortable. The fenced yard was appreciated for our precious pooch. The decks provided lots of space for outdoor lounging. Fire places in the living and master suite were much appreciated. Our host was incredibly responsive. I would highly recommend this home for a Big Bear getaway.

The property was as wonderful as we had hoped!!! Beautiful home, exquisitely decorated!!! Everything was top notch!!!
The only downsides, besides having to leave, was that we were unable to find the iron. (We did find the ironing board, however), and the fragrance on the bedding was bit heavy, but otherwise, Everything was exceptionally noteworthy!!!

The home was so lovely and very homey. It was perfect for our family. Very close to all the ski resorts and town. It had a fenced in backyard which was perfect for our dog. This is the only home we want to stay in again.

We appreciated the snow sleds and Legos for the kids and baby gates to secure the staircase. Lots of games for the adults too! Very well equiped kitchen. Easy access to shopping. Roomy and comfortable for our group of eight. Hats off to the property owner whose timely response to a maintenance issue helped to make our trip a very enjoyable one!

This cabin is amazing! Perfect location and the home is decorated beautifully. Our group consisted of 6 adults and 3 children and there was plenty of space. The hot tub is a plus and the backyard is huge! We will definitely be staying here again. Thanks for the great hospitality Nicholas Family!

Wonderful Big Bear Cabin with ample room for family with a large kitchen and family area, lovely fireplace and very clean with all the amenities. We had lots of snow in January and the check in and check out was easy. Highly recommend.
