I was extremely pleased with our decision to stay here. First, the unit was as-described in the listing, which is not always the case with some rentals. The location is inarguably fantastic: mere feet to a pool, the large grass lawn, and straight out to the beach. (No camera tricks in the listing photos.) Rooms were quiet with comfortable beds. Bathrooms were large and had good water pressure with all amenities listed. The kitchen was very well-appointed compared to other places I have stayed, and included all the necessary kitchen tools to cook in the unit if you are so inclined. There is also a BBQ just across the walkway, near the pool. There's a small-ish restaurant/bar at the end of the adjacent building which is very close (but situated so that you don't hear it from the patio) which has fantastic food and drink, and I highly recommend a meal or two there. Just a little further up the hill is the main Turtle Bay resort, with its restaurants, coffee shop, bar, and shops. The unit's "beach closet" (just outside the front door) had everything we could want for a wonderful day at the beach with, and everything was easily transported down to the water and back again. It felt very good not to have to figure out how to rent the beach staples, or worse: have to buy them and then leave them behind somewhere. Overall, the perfect mix of a quiet space for the family to spend some time together, but with the amenities of a resort just steps away. 10/10 would stay again.

Loved being ground floor...no noise from above. Units are well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Great pool and wonderful beach! There was a constant wind, but it did not cause problems and kept us cooler. We absolutely loved being there!

The villa was perfect for my son and family and myself. Steps away from the ocean shoreline. Turtle Bay resort access was a definite plus. It was the perfect location away from crowds and access to many island attraction’s. A couple maintenance items came up but promptly dealt with. My first Hawaii visit was spectacular.

The drier did not work, there were wet towels in the washer when we arrived at 10 pm. The area rugs throughout the condo were very dirty and stained as was the furniture which was also very musty smelling. The sliding doors and screens were very difficult to open and close. The lamp shades in the living room were ripped. The master TV box did not work. No volume. Regarding the drier situation Gina did handle the situation well and we had clean towels everyday and the dirty ones were removed. The housekeepers were very kind. We did love our stay and we would come again but would expect the condo to be updated considering the cost of our stay.

Everything clean and in order upon arrival. No cockroaches or bugs (big deal to my wife). Just walk out to the beach — awesome. Beds and rooms very comfortable.

Beach was just a few steps away, everything was secured and as advertised. There were several dining options on site, the beach equipment was all nice, clean and in working order and the whole experience was equal to what you would expect for the higher price. We all had a fantastic week and the North Shore is away from the frantic city, but with a nice country drive you can get to downtown Honolulu/Waikiki in an hour and the drive itself should be considered part of the great experience of seeing the countryside of a beautiful Island. The local food carts are great, Dole plantation and the local excursions you can go on are great too. We did Kayak's with Sea Turtles with our guide Mike and the whole family loved the experience. I would definitely recommend Turtle Bay Villas or Turtle Bay Resort for your vacation. Oh, and the sunset by the bar at the resort was amazing, go have a Mai Tai on the edge of the ocean and watch the sun go down.

Just open the sliding glass doors and you are steps away from the pool and beach. Communication with the property owners was excellent which made our check in and check out process a breeze.
