What a cute cottage! It is centrally located and near our family we were visiting. It is well stocked and was very clean! Would definitely stay again when we come to visit family for an extended period of time.

The property was exceptionally clean and well appointed with charming furniture and Fine Art on the walls it even had coffee for us to use and we really appreciate that, little snacks we were provided, the towels were nice and clean, the beds were comfortable a city park was across the street which made us feel like we were alone on the street very nice

This cute cottage is clean, well stocked, convenient, and comfortable. A perfect place to stay while attending our son’s wedding across the park at Venue 1902. We’d love to come back!

My husband and I stayed for 2:weeks on a business trip recently. The cottage was perfect for us. It was very clean and close to all the downtown shops and restaurants but far enough away to be very quiet and peaceful. A park is across the street and is a great place to walk a dog or let children run and play. We enjoyed having coffee on the front porch in the mornings seeing the beautiful park. The surrounding neighborhood was also nice for walking every morning. The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed and the washer and dryer came in handy since we were there for 2 weeks. The queen size bed was on the soft side but comfortable enough. There was plenty of closet space also. A nice sized table in the dining room was a great space to work on since we were there on business. This cottage had everything we needed for our 2 weeks. It was a wonderful stay and we will be back. Location perfect. Park across the street was perfect for our great nieces and nephews to run and play while visiting us!! Porch perfect. Grill and back yard perfect. Beds comfortable.. whole house was beautiful and comfortable!!! Will defiantly come back when going to this area!!!

My mom, my sister, my wife and I all stayed in this peaceful little home when we were in Sanford for our daughter’s graduation. The house is a beautiful historical home in great condition and fully stocked. It only has one bathroom, which can be challenging, but we knew that ahead of time. We had an issue with the bathroom faucet, but the owner was responsive and I think he’ll have it fixed for future renters. The best thing about this property however is the location. The neighborhood is nice but the location right on the little park is superb! The only sound that can be heard from early in the morning to mid-day is the chirping of birds and we found ourselves relaxing on the front porch for hours each day. The constant refrain for our visit was “I can’t believe how peaceful this is!” Not only is it peaceful but it is close enough to the historic downtown area that you can easily walk to lunch, dinner, or the the farmers market a couple blocks away. Highly recommended!

This was a well-maintained home that was the perfect size for our small family of four. It was clean on arrival and tastefully decorated. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch, using the firepit at night, and walking to nearby coffee shops and other attractions. We did have a 1 year-old and 2 year-old in tow, so we especially appreciated the fact that the property had no stairs to worry about. We had to put some of the delicate trinkets out of reach and get creative with sleeping arrangements since we were flying and couldn't bring a pack-n-play, but that's wasn't a detractor for us at all since the place was so nice and the owners were great. Would happily stay here again!

My family and I recently spent a week at the cottage and absolutely loved it. The location is great, the restoration details within the home are fantastic and I'm looking forward to booking future trips at this location.

The neighborhood is quiet and quaint, you really feel like you belong as soon as you check in. Wayne was very accommodating and the place was clean, stocked with water and snacks! We used the property as our landing pad after a wedding at Venue 1902, which was perfect because it is within walking distance! Check in and out was easy and we encountered no issues during our stay. I would absolutely recommend staying here especially if you are in town for a wedding at Venue 1902!

Meticulously clean, has everything you need. Cottage decor is lovely. Property is right across from a park and conveniently located near the quaint and fun revitalized Sanford downtown. Drinking your morning coffee on the front porch is so relaxing. I could not have been more comfortable for a one week stay.

This house is great for baseball tournaments. Plenty of space. Being able to do laundry daily was awesome!

Wayne has a lovely, clean and well-maintained home. It was centrally located to the downtown and waterfront. The rental was directly across from a very pretty city park with old growth trees. We loved sitting out on the front porch, listening to the cicadas sing their unique song. The kitchen was larger than expected and is truly equipped with everything. The bedrooms are at opposite ends, which gives more privacy to the occupants. Wayne has given a lot of thought to making his guests comfortable. During our stay, we encountered one small problem with the TV and called Wayne. He came over immediately and solved the problem. We found him to be very friendly and helpful. My husband and I definitely plan to return to Sanford in the future and will most assuredly choose his property. Beth and J.P.

In the past we have rented from Wayne. I was thrilled when I found a property in Sanford that he also owned because we so enjoyed his previous place. Very clean, items necessary to cook, cozy, close to downtown. We have already booked with this host for January.

We loved this cottage! We visited Sanford because it is where my mother was born and this home was only blocks from the home she lived in as a child. We enjoyed sitting on the porch looking across at the beautiful park and walking the brick-lined streets of this historic neighborhood. The house was very clean and updated with everything to make our stay comfortable. Lots of great restaurants in the historic, waterfront commercial district. Hope to return and enjoy the cottage again soon!

My family thoroughly enjoyed staying at this adorable home. We were in town for a baseball tournament and will definitely try to book again the next time we are in town.

We enjoyed our stay in Sanford. This cottage was clean, beds were comfortable, and had everything we needed in between visiting family, the beach and some springs in the area. It is a in a beautiful area to walk - there are a number of nice restaurants within walking distance.

Clean renovated bungalow in a quiet neighborhood. Some of the furnishings are different than pictures show but still comfortable. The kitchen worked well for meal prep and cooking. Located in a quiet neighborhood with George Toughy Park across the street.

This cottage is as advertised. Very clean, in a nice neighborhood, with a park across the street, AND close to great food and nightlife. We chose to stay here while visiting Disney/Universal, and even though it was a 30 minute drive, it was the perfect place to catch our breath and prepare for the next day.

This home is immaculate and larger than it looks. Great amenities, quiet location but walkable to the Historic Downtown shops, restaurants and bars. Street parking was easy and we had no issues. Highly recommend this location for your visit to Historic Downtown Sanford.

I can’t say enough positive things about this wonderful cottage. Everything was just perfect. The cottage was spotlessly clean. The decor is lovely. The kitchen was so well equipped that I was able to easily cook a Thanksgiving meal. The cottage is more spacious than the photos suggested, with comfortable spaces to relax, both indoors and outdoors. We felt totally at home from the moment we walked in the door. On a cool evening we really enjoyed the fire pit. The neighborhood is quiet, with a park just across the street. At the end of a long day, the bed was very comfortable. I know this sounds like hyperbole, but if you are planning to visit the Sanford area, I highly recommend this cottage. You will not be disappointed!!!

My husband and I were in Sandford for a wedding. The cottage was as described and looked just liked the pictures. This cottage was in a great location, it is close to restaurants and a grocery store. We did not have a problem finding parking on the street out front.
