The owner was flexible, responsive and easy to work with. The house was perfect for visiting with family, playing games and spending time together. Very comfortable.

The property was the perfect backdrop for our college reunion. We were all very comfortable with the house and found the outdoor spaces perfect for our group. The pool was a bit too cold for our trip, but the casita, ping pong table, and barn helped us create amazing memories. Darryl was fantastic to work with and made sure that we had everything for our stay. The house and property were definitely one of the trip highlights!

We booked this venue to accommodate our December 2020 wedding ... during the COVID chaos! Everything was perfect!! From the venue, accommodations, communication with the owner & staff ... it was all perfect!! We’re already talking about booking again in the future!!

This house is beautiful with many adult games to play like darts, billiards and ping pong. The only negative is that the pool is not heated so we could not take full advantage of the incredible back yard. Also, there is a quirk to the house. The Master bathroom has double glass French doors which gives zero privacy. The bedroom door lock does not work so a few of us had people walk in on us while in the shower. Other than that, this property is a dream for a layed back family vacation.

This property is 10 minutes north of downtown McKinney. It is a very well equipped, nice home with an awesome huge back yard with plenty to do. There is a beautiful huge pool with a cabana with a TV lounge area, and plenty of seating all around the expansive back yard. It was the perfect environment to practice social distancing in these times. There are also darts, ping-pong table and foosball table in the garage, and a pool table inside. The grounds are beautiful and the back lot has a beautiful event venue for Weddings, Private Parties, etc.....Would definitely recommend!!

We had a great stay at the property. The outdoor space is amazing.....our kids loved it. Darrell was such a great host and so responsive to anything needed. A much needed peaceful break in the country during these crazy times.

From my first inquiry to my last contact with Darrell, the entire process was 150% excellent. Darrell was patient,considerate,accommodating, simply on point! The property, the home allowed our family to have an amazing time and to celebrate thanksgiving as if we were at home. The adults and kids all had a wonderful time, from constant pool games to ping pong, basketball and even the polar plunge in 36 degree weather! Our family will definitely be visiting again!

Spent the weekend with family and friends. The house was large and comfortable enough for the the eight family members. Had my son’s rehearsal dinner in the barn with approx. 80 in attendance. Great property and a great weekend.

We had a wonderful time with our family during our one week stay. House was perfect, very comfortable! A fantastic pool and cabana area. Large yard for all kinds of activities with the grandkids, pool table in house for the adults and foosball, darts etc in garage. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Darrell and his sister were so nice and very easy to communicate with. Highly recommend this property!

We had an excellent stay! The owners were excellent to work with and were very helpful with anything we needed. The property is perfect for relaxing and/or play time. The house offered indoor games, plus outdoor games/balls/equipment and even pool toys. We were very pleased and enjoyed it! And finally, THE BEDS WERE SO COMFORTABLE!!! We all slept great!

The house was great for our family reunion. The kids loved the pool and games while the adults relaxed and joined in with the kids sometimes.

Our daughter's softball team was in Dallas / Plano for a tournament and this house was a perfect fit to make the stay a little easier and more enjoyable. We had 4 families (6 adults, 8 kids) and we all fit comfortably. Much better than a hotel, and you get home cooked meals with friends every day. The RV bunkhouse was way better than I expected. Cold AC, TV, super comfy beds and another full bath. There's also another half bath out by the pool. I count 3 full baths and 2 half baths when you include the RV and pool house. The house was stocked with plenty of games, towels, kitchen stuff, etc. Just bring your food and drinks. We couldn't find a toaster or flat baking sheets, but that was about it. The owner was super helpful and easy to deal with. It was about a 15-20 minute drive to Plano. The traffic wasn't too bad, it just gets congested right before the PGBT 635 interchange. I will certainly stay here again if the need arises.

The owner was more than accommodating and gave our family and friends a wonderful venue to host our daughters wedding. The property is beautiful with many outdoor activities to take care of everyone and a refreshing beautiful swimming pool to cool down. We could not have asked for a more enjoyable and relaxing country setting for our special day. Thank You Darrell!!!!

2nd time staying here and once again a “home run”!!

We absolutely LOVED our stay in the house! None of us had heard of Melissa, Tx when we booked it but we couldn't have been happier with the outcome. Everything was clean and ready when we got there. Darrell was such a sweetheart to our the entire family and very accommodating! He made sure the bunk house was ready for the my in-laws to stay in, which worked perfectly! My entire family wanted to be together for Father's Day and to celebrate my in-laws anniversary and it was the perfect place for our celebration! We took some beautiful family pics with the gorgeous landscape all around the house. All together our stay was exactly what we wanted! We will be back!

We loved our stay in Melissa, while it’s only 5-7 minutes from McKinney you get the feel of being out in the country. The home was perfect for our family that was in town for our daughters wedding. There was plenty of indoor seating and an amazing backyard with a beautiful pool. The outdoors had plenty of spaces to wander and places to sit! While we did not use the facility for our daughters wedding, it is a great venue for that. We had several family members comment that they would be looking at it for future weddings. As for my husband and I, we would totally rent again to just get away from big city life.

We had two families stay here due to the location being close to a wedding that we were attending. There was lots of activities at the house with the pool table, ping pong table, darts, etc. We all had a great time and plan to rent the house again in the future.

The booking process was very easy and Darrell responded very quickly to our queries. The house is well kept and clean with spacious rooms. Great location and McKinney is a great town with plenty of eating options, particularly in the historical centre with great restaurants for breakfast and dinner. Special mention for Harvest. Great food. The pool is large and has a very deep end which is great for the kids to jump/dive into. There was a small jacuzzi which Darrell had problems with and we didn't get much use of it which was disappointing as this was one of our favourite things to do after a long hot day to sit and look at the stars. A larger jacuzzi would definitely benefit the large pool. Darrell was always available to answer any questions and reurned the security deposit very promptly. It would help greatly if there was an information book on how everything worked as it took a while to work out the TV. Other info about the area and restaurants, supermarkets would also help. A visitors book would also be good as we could have added where we went shopping and restaurants/cinemas and other tips which worked for us. Would definitely recommend the home and nothing was too much trouble for Darrell

The house it's absolutely spectacular me and my husband were looking for a perfect location for an outside wedding and we found it. Our family absolutely enjoyed every single minute in that house the pool and the cabin outside were really cool and it was the perfect spot for the Dallas summer days. We had a fabulous wedding there everybody was raving about how beautiful everything was . Darell helped us with a lot of things even brought us hay bales for the wedding he is great everything you need you just need to ask. The house has absolutely everything plates, towels, coffee makers all the amenities so you can make yourself at home the minute you enter. We had a great time with our family, the ranch can easily accomodate 10 people.

Ton of options for activities (games, swimming, TV, etc) and really comfortable spots to relax. Always clean every time we stay and Darrell is very professional and prompt. Definitely going to return.

This ranch house was AMAZING!! I threw a graduation/birthday party for my boyfriend and his best friend the second week in May and it was a great turn out. When we arrived, the house was clean and it had a few necessities in case you forgot something. Everything was easy to use and find. The rooms were neat and the backyard was one of the greatest backyards ever. The owner also allowed us to use his smoker to smoke our bbq. Our guests enjoyed themselves and so did we; everyone raved about how great of a house this was. The owner was available to answer all questions/concerns I had, so that was a plus. We had a blast; it was a very relaxing place to be and we really enjoyed ourselves; it was a great way to celebrate both events with a beautiful view/house and friends/family. And to top it off, my boyfriend became my fiance at this house; I will never forget these memorable moments!! Thank you for allowing us to celebrate at your ranch house
