We came for a week of skiing so we weren't in the house much except for breakfast, supper and sleeping. I would give the property a 5 except for a couple of minor things. First of all we used the hot tub every night when we got back(Hot tub worked perfect) but the deck up above the tub juts out about a foot over the tub. Because therewas snow and ice on it it would melt every day. As it melted in dripped over rusted drip edge of the deck onto the hot tub cover which would fill with water. it took 3 of us to open the cover because it was so heavy. then once your in the tub we had rusty water dripping on us. So that wasn't good but didn't stop us from using it. and the second thing was that for the amount of money spent on the rental you would think that they would have more than just mini basic TV. There were only 13 channels available of which 2 were Spanish channels, 2 were shopping channels, a couple of who knows what channels. So there really were only about 4 or 5 to watch. i mean come on.But other than that it was a good place to stay. I would recommend it to anybody who asked me.

Everything works, nothing out of place. Furnishings, amenities, appliances, all just what you'd want. It's clear the owners didn't skimp just because it's a rental - everything is of good quality and you can tell they thought about what you'd need to make your stay here feel practically luxurious. There were charging port stations on every nightstand, comfy bed linens and large, fluffy pillows. They even had large (quiet) air purifiers upstairs and downstairs, so even the breathing air was clean! The kitchen is well-stocked, the dishes and glasses sparkling, matching silverware, huge fridge, and a multi-function oven that I'd want in my own kitchen! Also there are brand-new, large capacity washer & dryer, again appliances that I would pick for myself if I could! It really felt like we were staying someplace where a close friend had set up the home for us after thinking of everything we'd want ahead of time! RnR provided just the right amount of info and checking in with us during our stay, just in case we needed anything. Also, I have to say that throughout every vacation rental process, the RnR folks have always been super-helpful, responsive, and personable - really GREAT customer service of the kind you rarely see anymore. Great house, great company - what more could you want?

Reviewer Comments: This was a nice house and clean BUT,THE Birds make a nest in the side of the house was awful,From 6:00am to 6 PM,the bird was pecking.You could not sleep in at all.There were four of us and they started pecking to wake all others up also.They also knew about it but said nothing,there was reflective tape on the side of the house from previous nests.This owner should warn people of this happening in the spring.A nice house does not equal relaxation.Wanted a refund for this vacation but the rental company would not budge much,They gave us 100.00 for the agony of listening to these birds peck.We couldn't wait to go home!!! Overall the cabin was wonderful! Very relaxing and accommodating. There were some little things that bothered us such as incredibly squeaky doors (we had little ones trying to sleep), the master bedroom’s door hinges need to be tightened (it drags on the carpet and you have to lift it to open and close it), the WiFi name and password provided were inaccurate, but we found the modem with the correct information. However, we would definitely stay here again and enjoyed our visit to Tahoe.

There were beautiful trials just at the end of the street and it was not too far to downtown South Shore. The home was clean and the kitchen had all the cooking items you'd need. The hot tub was awesome and we enjoyed playing pool. We had an issue with the smoke detector and the property manager came right out and fixed it. Super quick response from management was appreciated!

They have everything you will need in the kitchen for cooking. House is clean, inviting.the amount of stairs was a problem for some. There was a few things that needed some attention but A phone call took care of it. The upstairs tv is small difficult to figure out for the room. Downstairs pool table and tv was great to have.

The location, cleanliness, amenities and communication with RnR was all around fantastic. We enjoyed sledding in the neighborhood, snow shoeing up on Kingsbury grade and some wonderful bites from local eateries. The hot tub was the perfect place to unplug and the home was clean, spacious and comfortable.
