Good stay. Close to beach and village. As advertised. Would stay again.

My family and I love coming to this beach house. We have been here 4 times now and it is always clean and enjoyable. They have everything you need. A quick walk to the beach and it’s right by all the restaurants and shops. We love this home!

The house is darling and located is just a couple of blocks from the beach. We loved that you can walk everywhere with never using your car. The things we loved about the house were the kitchen, master bathroom the closets and upstairs deck with a view. The things we didn’t like were there was no dinning table inside only up three floors on the deck or a small wooden table by barbecue. A lot of the windows are very hard to open because the cranks are broken especially in the downstairs bathroom can’t open that one at all. The pillows need to be replaced but the beds we’re comfortable. The property manager was very good about handling a problem during our stay but I was very surprised she didn’t call us before the hurricane to give us any directions about securing the home and deck or check with us afterwards. We love Carlsbad it is a great little city and the beach there is amazing you can walk it for hours.

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful and well appointed Carlsbad home. The house itself exceeded all expectations. Every bit as awesome as the pictures. Few minutes walk to the beach, short drive to Legoland for the kids. Magee park across the street is quite beautiful but does attract a small homeless population, did not feel unsafe but were approached several times so we tended to avoid it in the evenings. So many great restaurants within short walking distance or easy delivery. Every meal we had on the roof top deck with ocean views! I would recommend this rental to anyone wanting an easy and luxurious beach vacation. Hard to imagine a better spot for our family beach vacation.

We love Carlsbad!!! This location was amazing to walk to everything. Located across the street from a church & public park. My daughter loves being able to chase the birds & run on the grass. My only complaint: we came home from dinner one evening to a homeless man on the porch. We didn’t know what to do as we were concerned if we called police he might retaliate & my daughter was staying in the front downstairs room alone so the whole situation made me uncomfortable.

property was in a great central location and on a quiet street within walking distance to town and the beach. We had five adults - so the two bedrooms and pullout couch worked out well. I would stay here again and recommend it to others

For families with small kids (I have a 7 year old and a 3 year old) visiting Legoland, I highly recommend this beach house! It is your private oasis (one block away from the gorgeous, sandy Carlsbad state beach) after a hectic day at the park. Legoland is a 10 mins drive away. The house was extremely comfortable for our family of 4 (space and amenities-wise) and its proximity to downtown Carlsbad cannot be rivaled. Downtown Carlsbad is quite the foodies’ paradise and to have it at our doorstep is a huge plus, especially when traveling with young children.

We loved our stay! The house is in a perfect location. Minutes down the street to the beach access and only a couple blocks from downtown Carlsbad with your pick of shopping and restaurants. The house was fully stocked with all the basic necessities, from beach toys and chairs, to laundry detergent and coffee filters. Only critique is the washer and fridge need a good deep clean. Otherwise, the house was immaculate and we would love to stay again!

We’ve been coming here for several years and always look forward to the house and proximity to the beach and shopping.

Beautiful property in a quiet location close to the beach.

We wanted to be close to the water so we could walk on the beach and the house was perfect for that. The beach is gorgeous - clean and wide. We also appreciated being able to walk into the village. The property was even better than we thought it would be - we loved the “his and hers” dressing-rooms! The only thing that would have made it better is to have a dining-table and chairs. We find it awkward to always have to sit at the counter. Perhaps the family room seating area could be a bit smaller - or moved down a bit - to allow room for a small table and chairs. The kitchen was well-equipped with the exception of a kettle and Kelley supplied us with one within hours of our message to her.

Cute, implies small. It was a huge 2 bedroom home. The master closet has 2 dressing rooms, outdoor built in b-que, rooftop patio and the location was perfect. Carlsbad is an active town with great restaurants and the BEACH! We would stay there again in a heartbeat!

This house was great for a group of 4. It was exactly how it’s described. The location was perfect and only a ~5 min walk to both the beach and Carlsbad village. Kelley was extremely responsive to any questions or issues we had. Would recommend this house to anyone interested in staying in Carlsbad!

This property lives up to its name. Cute but beautifully decorated with anything needed for a lovely week at the beach.

This was our second stay. This time celebrating our Mom’s 70 th birthday. This home has every amenity you could possibly need. Is close to the beach and a short walk to the transit system to go enjoy the Padres. We will be back again next year.

This was our 3rd time staying here. We love how close it is to all the shops and restaurants. The beach is steps away! You can hear the waves from the house. The house is fully stocked with everything you would need. We look forward to staying here again! :-)

House was beautiful and just like the photos. Quality finishes and comfortable all around. There were coffee and waters to get us started which helped out because we got in late on the first day. Steps to the beach that I even could do multipletimes a day at 8 months pregnant! 360 view from the 3rd floor deck for sunsets, etc. The doors are tricky to lock and the upstairs shower was difficult to figure out for water temperature control. The second floor bathroom had a sewer smell in the afternoons that we couldn’t figure out but opening a few windows solved that problem. The third floor toilet was dirty but everything else in the house was spotless. We really appreciated having beach toys/chairs etc and the pack and play! Game changer. Would highly recommend and we hope to come back. One tip would be to bring an eye mask. The drapes don’t cover the full length of the windows so light will come into the rooms early in the morning.

We absolutely love this beautiful property. It's exactly as described and shown in photos. On the last night, however, my hubby told me that the large sectional had earwigs under the cushions, probably eating up the crumbs there, and he'd seen a few in the prior days. He didnt say anything to me earlier because we were there to attend my father's interment ceremony at Miramar, and I was sad, plus under the weather. I wish he had said something earlier, as I'm sure the hosts would have jumped in to help us.

My husband and I enjoyed three weeks in April in this cute house. The best features are the second floor master suite with roomy bath and two walk in closets, the living room fireplace, the front patio and the conveniently short walk to the beach and many restaurants. We had company twice during our stay, and the first floor bedroom and bath was adequate. It’s nice that the guest room is a king, but that makes it rather crowded. The house is definitely great for one couple and part-time visitors or an older child. The roof deck and deck off of the master are a nice idea and we did use them, but honestly we enjoyed the front patio more for its convenience and nice sunshine. Big TVs were great for watching the NCAA tournament. The garage had an abundance of beach chairs and toys, and the laundry room had lots of beach towels. The laundry was nicer than mine at home, and I appreciated that there was detergent and dryer cloths. The kitchen was more than adequate, although strangely there were no hot pads and I had to substitute kitchen towels. All the knives need a good sharpening, but these are minor complaints. The property manager was very responsive to questions and requests. We definitely enjoyed this property with its great location and would recommend for a couple for a longer stay.

Comfortable home for 2 couples or family in a quiet neighborhood only steps from the beach and an easy walk to the village for dining etc. So great not to have to get in a car for entertainment. Home is very clean and well stocked with kitchen items and beach equipment. The top deck with sunset views is wonderful and Kelley, the host, was very responsive & helpful. One suggestion: The large kitchen counter is nice, but would have liked a table for dining in or playing cards. Hope to return!!
