We loved our stay! The house is adorable, clean and very well-appointed. The location is fantastic, and Julie went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. Will be returning! :)

This was such a wonderful and much needed getaway for myself and my family. The location of the house was absolutely perfect. Walking distance to all the shops, grocery store, and bars/restaurants that are downtown. My older children loved that they could walk to all the bars downtown and walk home at the end of their night. My teenager loved that she could wake each morning and walk downtown for a coffee Or she could walk herself back to the house if she didn't want to stay out with the rest of us after dinners. My husband and I enjoyed being able to wake before the others and walk down by the water and all around town in the mornings. The house was absolutely lovely. The kitchen well appointed. The back patio area enjoyable. Check in was a breeze and Julia was a great host. If you want to be downtown where the action is, this is a great little spot. Highly recommend.

The location of this house to Main Street was perfect and easy bike ride to beaches - Jetties and Surfside being the easiest. The property was equipped with everything you need including beach chairs and towels, and was decorated in traditional style in line with the age of the home. The walk to town is super convenient, which made our morning coffee run to The Hub very easy.

We loved staying at Julie’s place, it was the perfect place for our party of 4. The backyard with the lights was so nice on Nantucket evenings. We’d definitely come back!

We had a wonderful stay at this classic New England saltbox house in one of the quiet lanes right in town. It is a bit quirky, with original (1700s!) details inside and a steep staircase to the bedrooms, but it has all the modern amenities you might need. Perfect small house for a couple and a guest or a couple and two children. There is plenty of dining/living room to spread out on the first floor. Earlier reviews mention the tight parking space - if you're going to roll onto Nantucket in a massive truck or oversize SUV, this is not the house for you. It is fine for a normal-size car or small SUV/CRV.

We had a wonderful week at 6 School Street. We chose it in large part for the location. It is so close to the center of town! The house is even better than the pictures and description. It’s bright and airy and beautifully decorated. Having two sitting rooms was so helpful for our group and AC units all over the house was also great on the humid days. I was fortunate enough to meet Julie herself as well. Amazing house in a really great location! Thank you, Julie!

The home made us feel at home “New England Island Style”. It was convenient for walking to several places of interest, restaurants and shopping. Our only concern was the parking space was difficult to enter and exit.

House was as advertised. Great location. Bathrooms were tight

Every aspect of this rental went smoothly! House is downtown and an easy walk to restaurants, coffee shops, bars, shopping and ferries. Kitchen, bathrooms, and stairwell are very small, as you would expect in an older cottage, and might be tricky to navigate for someone with a mobility impairment. The dining room is large and inviting, kitchen well-stocked, and there are two separate common areas with comfortable seating. We especially enjoyed the small patio, which had an umbrella table and comfortable chairs and a lounger.

Liked the location of the house, quiet, close to shopping, beach and restaurants.

The best thing about the property was the great, walkable location to boutiques and restaurants. House was clean and had everything we needed. We had 2 couples so having twin beds was a challenge but we knew that going into it. Master bedroom AC unit worked well but friends said guest room unit struggled a bit to cool. We had a few humid days but the other days were easier to keep the house cool. The owner Julie was very nice and easy to communicate with. FYI the 2 main bedrooms and one bathroom are upstairs so we ended up sharing that bath. It was just easier. If you’re wanting separate bed/bath setups for 2 couples it may not be the best house for you. The house also had a nice back courtyard and a parking spot. Laundry in the basement. Overall, we were pleased.

This is a great location w easy access to the heart of the retail shopping area where many of the good restaurants are located. The house is more spacious than we thought and the back garden was a bonus for eating at home or relaxing. Nantucket is very expensive and this house is a good value considering the location and space.

We had a great week. The location is awesome. The house is clean and well stocked with everything you need to utilize the house. The house had sufficient room for a family of five. We figured out a way to squeeze our Minivan into the driveway/parking space. We recommend this house and owner.

This house is adorable for anyone who likes American history. The flooring gives the age away. It was perfect and in such a great location - walking distance to downtown. The back patio was a bit of heaven! We had everything we needed. Would like to rent it again! Maybe next year!

Great house and an ideal location with a short walk into town. My family of 5 loved our stay.

Wonderful cottage right in the heart of town. Nice hidden patio for morning coffee. Vintage charm and lovely owner/caretaker. Main stairs, as is typical with antique homes on ACK, are steep, so maybe not ideal for small children. Lovely choice for island get-away.

Check-in couldn’t have been easier. The house has a prime location, only a few minutes (waking) to downtown. The house itself is extremely quaint, just like Nantucket, and has a beautiful patio to relax.

Staying at school street couldn’t have been any simpler for a first time visit to Nantucket.House was bigger than I anticipated.Great location.
