We had a great time at the house. We could have stayed at the house the entire week without exploring the rest of Marathon. We all enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The sunsets from the dock were amazing. The screened in porch is a great place to read and have a drink while the kids swim. Every single bedroom has its own bathroom and gives everyone their privacy and space. There is plenty of snorkeling equipment along with beach chairs. Don’t forget to go kayaking either. It was a great week and we hope to go back.

Our party consisted of 6 adults in our 60’s. Everything you could possibly needed is provided. All of the kitchen cabinets were labeled so we could easily find what we needed. The best part of this home was the backyard. The pool and tiki hut were fabulous! Also, sitting on the dock watching marine life swim under and below us was incredible! We saw manatees, nurse sharks, sting rays and a barracuda right off the dock! The host was very responsive to any questions/needs we had. We would definitely come back.

This was absolutely a fantastic place to stay .. clean, close, spacious .. simple for 4 couples to spend a great week exploring the keys.

The property and house were absolutely gorgeous. We loved the pool, the sunsets, and the Peicans. The Florida room was great for playing cards together and we all appreciated having our very own bathrooms. Could not have asked for anyhting more.

We had eight adults in our group. The home was spacious enough that we never felt crowded. The view of the sunset is priceless.

Loved our stay! Numerous seating areas. The indoor hot tub is a super nice bonus. Dolphins came by several times as well as a manatee. Numerous fish around the dock. Love the location.

This house and all its amenities are fabulous. What you see on the VBRO website is exactly what you will experience. I can’t say enough about our family 2023 Christmas. Such wonderful memories were made. We are very grateful to these owners for sharing their piece of paradise!

My husband and I, two other couples and my elderly parents enjoyed a wonderful week despite the weather. Beautiful sunsets and a perfect location for our boat with a nice dock. Great pool and tiki hut. Thank goodness for the inside spa because the weather was bad. We had 1.5 days of sun but with the layout of the house and size no one was on top of each other. Comfortable beds, well appointed kitchen and lots to do in the area makes it another great option in the keys. The only part we felt lacking was a second fridge would have been nice. With 4 couples who all cook and we don’t eat out, we could have used the space. But next time we know and can adjust our packing and shopping. Because we will be back for sure!

Our overall stay was great. Our 11 yr old grandson walked in, saw the ocean and said “I’m very happy, very happy!” Couple of hiccups. Kayaks were missing, we looked everywhere we could think of but no luck, I finally contacted Maria, only to be told they were out for repair and would arrive in the morning. A heads up on the this would have been nice. They actually weren’t delivered back to the house until late Monday afternoon. The next item was the pool, no pool cleaning during the week and we couldn’t find a slimmer to clean ourselves Family had a great time in Key West one day, but the rest were spent at the house

Such a beautiful tropical oasis! This home and property is absolutely stunning! There were 6 of us, my husband and myself and our two adult children and their girlfriends. It was plenty big for us all and we each had our own area! The views are spectacular! Also the underwater light under the dock brought out all kinds of fish. We were really hoping to see a manatee or dolphin like others have seen before us, but you can’t control nature! We did rent a boat with their dock space and went out everyday in the Gulf and Atlantic! The pool is perfect along with two jacuzzi’s! The little tiki hut area for grilling was perfect and this house has a ton of amenities! Kayaks, fishing poles, places to clean fish, and places to put your bait! The kitchen is well stocked and the area is close by restaurants and groceries! I can’t recommend this place enough! We will definitely be back!

The home was very nice, there was plenty of space and things to enjoy. The owner was very responsive and helpful throughout the booking process and during the stay. The guest book was amazing with all the information needed to enjoy the home and Marathon.

We rented this property for our family and friends for the week of our sons wedding in The Keys. We could not be more delighted! The photos don't do it justice! The views are breathtaking! Everything was perfect! Plenty of room for everyone (there was 10 of us). House was very clean! Pool, hot tub was delightful. Kids loved taking advantage of the fishing poles and kayaks to explore the area. Tiki was a perfect place for us all to relax in the evening. Maria was a joy to deal with! Definitely recommend!

The property was absolutely amazing. There were things for the kids to do, things for the adults to do. The dock and water was perfect for fishing. We caught tons of fish every day. You can snorkel right off the dock. The house was very well stocked and had everything we needed even with backups for things we forgot. The host was very easy to work with as well. We plan to come back.

The house was perfect with everything you need for a week and plenty of space for two families. Communication with the owner was easy. Location was perfect to explore the entire Florida Keys from Key Largo to Key West. Sunsets definitely did not disappoint. Saw parrotfish, manatees, barracudas, nurse sharks and more from the dock. Beautiful home and I hope to get to visit again!

I can't rave enough about this house, it was completely stocked, very clean and absolutely gorgeous. The owner is wonderful and communicated in a timely manner. The view is breathtaking and I can do the sunsets all day I think I was hypnotized by them. My kids loved the pool I think my oldest went all week without a phone which in itself was awesome. Do yourself a favor and rent this house for a week we had a blast and plan on booking again.

This property has it all. The location cannot be beat and the amenities serve your every need - kayaks with life vests, snorkeling equipment we used for lobstering, toiletries in case you left anything at home, and outdoor fans to keep you comfortable. We rented a 27ft boat and the dock layout was great. The underwater lights were perfect for night fishing and we saw tarpon, sharks, sailcats, and a manatee. We stayed for two weeks and did not elwant to head home. We would come again and this was our second stay.

4th year staying at "Sunsets on the Gulf" and again, it did not disappoint! Our family of 6 adults and 3 children had another fantastic week at this beautiful location with 180degree views of the Gulf from the pool, Tiki Hut, dock or relaxing back yard. The inside is very nicely appointed, with ample & comfortable room for a big family and has everything you could possibly need for your stay. We love staying at Maria's home, located in a central location of Marathon, and can't wait until our next return!!

This house is so perfectly stocked with everything you will need for an amazing beach vacation. Everything is labeled and easy to locate within the house. The accommodations are comfortable and the amenities are fabulous! This is our second time staying here and we can't wait to come back. The house is set up to comfortably accommodate young kids, older adults, and everyone in between. We were easily able to dock our rental boat during our stay. Our son is an avid fisherman and didn't stop fishing off the dock the entire time. He has many fish stories to tell after this trip, including catching a huge tarpon off the dock. The layout of the house allows for everyone to gather with ease. My kids loved the "kid room" and the beds that pull out into two kings. The owners did a fantastic job with furnishing the outdoor spaces with high end polywood furniture. We honestly felt like we were at home during our stay. I enjoyed morning walks around the neighborhood and loved how easy it was to get to the grocery store. I cannot recommend this house enough and we will absolutely be back.

The house is wonderful. Four masters really. lots of space to spread out. lots of outdoor space. we fished off the dock, watched sunsets, storms come in and had a lovely stay!

We stayed at this beautiful home for a much needed vacation. It’s everything you could ask for in a rental. We spent most of our time outside and watched the sunsets every night. The beds were so comfortable, the sheets were soft and the house offers plenty of privacy for each guest with a full bathroom for each bedroom. We saw dolphins swimming by and caught fish off the dock. Maria is the perfect host. Very attentive to the needs of her guests and always available by text for any questions. We will be back!

We had a wonderful family vacation at this very beautiful property. Everything was perfect including the weather. Had one bad stormy morning but cleared by the afternoon and had the most gorgeous sunsets every single evening.

The backyard area was absolutely amazing. We spent 95% of our time out there. The water and the sunsets could not have been better. The pool, the tiki hut, the furniture, and the dock was perfect.

This is our second time staying at Sunsets on the Gulf and enjoyed our time just as much (if. not more). Property is on gulf with amazing views and sunsets. With direct access to gulf we got to kayak, paddle board, and fish. (We rented the paddle boards.). The house is perfect for two families and is clean. Owner is responsive and super helpful with anything that comes up. We enjoyed our stay!

Our trip here with 4 adults and three children under 12 was fabulous once again. I believe this was our fourth time here, and we’re still in love. Maria was very quick and responsive to fix one small issue, which we really appreciated. If you have a boat, there is so much to do on the water and finally the winds cooperated for us to do so this year. Even without a boat, the marine life around the shore and dock is quite amazing. Lobsters, sharks, tons of fish, dolphins, tarpon, barracuda, crabs, and the list goes on and on. We’ll be back again for sure!

Absolutely beautiful!! Dolphins, fish, rays, all amazing. Caught a few fish off the dock. Kayaking and snorkeling, a blast. Fun and relaxation had by all. Maria and Louis were great hosts and addressed any issues promptly. We will return💕

Absolutely LOVED this place! So many amenities, the kitchen was well equipped with all the things we needed and then some! Maria was a great host, responsive and very nice :) The property is stunning, a manatee even came right up to the dock and we saw dolphins swim past. The view is incredible, peaceful and perfect, we will definitely stay here again!!

This was our second stay at this property and we loved it even more than the first! Rave reviews from ages 7-55. The amenities are just perfect with kayaks, pool, hot tub, bay access, snorkel gear, fishing gear, and a great setup for family meals and plenty of privacy too. The house is very clean and well equipped in a location convenient for all the favorite Keys activities. . We highly recommend!
