A large group of us stayed here for 3 days on a ski trip. The sauna was great to come back and warm up after a day on the slopes! Plenty of room for a large group without being on top of each other. Highly recommend!

We had a great time at this property. With friends and family flying in from different places, this was just the place to hang out, enjoy each others company, and still have enough room for you to sneak away when you need some quiet time. The kids had a blast in the pool and couldn’t get enough of the movie theater. There was also some great hiking trails walkable from the house. Quiet neighborhood, so you don’t get kept up all night from parties in the area. While we were here in the summer, I’m sure there is just as much to do in the winter. Can not wait to come back to Tahoe again, such a special place!

We enjoyed our stay, the movie room was a plus, we enjoyed the yacuzzi also. Could not go in the pool, too cold, the Manager sent someone to fix it but it did not work. There are some items that need repairing, only one good chair in the deck, and deck was being repaired. For the price we paid, we were expecting everything to be in working condition. We did managed and enjoyed our stay

A very nice large house for extended family that is roomy with nice amenities (pool, hot tub, sauna). A few maintenance items were noted.

Overall, we enjoyed this property. It is in a lovely location and had everything we needed and then some. The property could use some basic maintenance but everything was clean and a good time was had by all.

My extended family and I rented this venue for a family holiday getaway weekend. The house layout was very spacious and comfortable for our large group with plenty of activities to keep everyone in our group entertained. The house was well stocked with plenty of cookware, dishes, utensils, towels, soap and toilet paper. The host was very courteous and communicative.

We took advantage of all the specialness of the house, including the theater (great sound and set up), the jacuzzi, pool table and the pool! The place was clean, despite the size of the house where sometimes a few corners can be missed. The only downside is that the carpet is a bit rundown and the lower floor could hear almost everything that was happening upstairs. (not for light sleepers). All in all, it was a great experience and would rent again!

Great location and great large space!

Our experience at this rental property was mostly pleasurable. There are a few items that need maintenance attention. The home is beautiful and we had a good time.

We booked the place with the pool as the main attraction but didn’t even get to use it. But this wouldn’t be a problem during the summer I’m sure. Still a very nice place to stay.

This property is nothing like the description. There is so much maintenance needed on this property. Both VRBO and the owner should be held responsible for the misleading description of this rental. The walls are covered with stains, sticky drip marks and scratches, scuff marks, and plastered holes. The carpets need to be replaced and it didn’t feel like home you wanted to be barefoot in at all. Stained, stiff, and crusty carpets. The sauna was moldy and broken, and all of the sliding glass doors were stuck/broken/too difficult for most to open/operate. The home has six bedrooms but not enough dishes for more than 8 people. The kitchen is not well stocked at all. It mostly felt like a frat party house, not someplace to come for a special occasion or family gathering. I would not recommend renting this property until there is some serious maintenance done. The fact that VRBO is allowing this misleading offering is really despicable.

House is beautiful. Is a little rundown for sure but nothing in really poor shape. Pros: Great for large group, plenty of space to all be together and get some time alone if needed. Plenty of beds. Surprisingly used the movie theatre room more than anticipated. Plenty of bathrooms for everyone. Pool table is a huge plus and outdoor grill and hottub. Proximity to Heavenly and downtown as well as a number of hikes is incredible, just short drive away. 3 total fridges was great for large group. Cons: The living room couch is different than the listed photos and there is no futon in the main bedroom. The pool room smelled of pure chlorine entire week even with windows open for portion of week (found them open open arrival) and the bathroom in it was always wet, Sauna door did not shut. Lights by hottub flickered. Not enough space for trash if you have large group and long stay.

Our large group really enjoyed the property. The kids bounced between the pool, the movie room and making a snow fort in the back yard. The kitchen is large and open, so the person doing the cooking wasnt isolated from the rest of the group. Plenty of room for everyone to stretch out. I had read earlier reviews about things not working properly and the house needing a deep cleaning, but all of these issues were resolved. The pool was 80, the hot tub worked, the stove and dishwasher had no issues. We were able to use all of the TVs, but note that the downstairs bedrooms only have DVD players. No cable. That didn't affect our stay in the least tho. There was a fair amount of snow and ice. The front steps and driveway were a bit treacherous to navigate. We got a lot of snow overnight and the owner was quick to get someone to plow the drive. The only bummer was that we had to leave two days early due to a huge storm rolling in.

We rented this house during one of Tahoes big snowstorms and unfortunately it lost power. We couldn’t access the house for 2 of our 4 nights and they didn’t offer any updates or refunds for the lost days. The house is not prepared for winter weather. 2 of the 3 gas fireplaces don’t work ( which is the only source of heat when the power is out) there wasn’t a snow shovel or ice melt for the front steps/ driveway. Over all the house was fun for the kids and is great for a big group. Has some wear and tear for sure, but the beds are comfy and the kitchen is well stocked.

The property is really spacious. There was plenty of space to accommodate 5 vehicles. Theatre room and pool were a hit for adults and kids. Pool cover kept temperature warm for use. Kitchen, rooms and bathrooms were fully stocked. Safeway is only 9 minutes away from property. This is my second stay at this property. I would definitely recommend this rental to friends and family.

Our big family group of 14 thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It's true that the property is not super new. There's some wear and tear, the pool table a bit scuffed. It didn't stop us from playing hours of pool, though! There was room for everyone, and the theater was an absolute hit! Everything appeared to be operational. I didn't check all the TVs, but the ones I DID see were working. One upstairs didn't have cable signal, though. The pool stays warm if you take the cover off just when you're swimming, and the hot tub was working. We loved being able to seat everyone at the dining table (after we brought extra chairs from the garage). We would do it all again!

It was a great experience and would stay here again. Gladys and Dennis were responsive, the place was clean, space was wonderful for our family to spread out, the location was walking distance to a great hike with children, and about a 10 minute drive into town. We stayed for 7 days and the heating unit for the pool was not working so the water was in the 60s when we arrived. I notified the owners the 2nd day when we tried using the pool. The unit ordered the 3rd day and the problem was resolved by our 5th day.

Except for the annoying call from the property manager the night before our stay it was a great stay. The place has obviously had a lot of heavy use for years and could use some updates

The house is very spacious and in a nice neighborhood. Our family really enjoyed the movie room and the wide open kitchen/living room. We did notice the house was in need of a lot of minor repairs. To start off half of the Tv’s in the bedrooms didn’t work and serve no purpose. A few have DVD players in the tv and they didn’t even work that great. Some of the rooms didn’t have a remote control for the tv while others have 5-7 remotes with no direction on what they do. The dishwasher bottom rack has wheels that kept falling off and it got pretty annoying every time you pulled it out it was off track or needed to be reset. The igniter for the gas stove did not work properly and the front burners kept clicking and clicking even though the flame was going. If you just used the back burners on the stove the front burners would still try to ignite even with the gas shut off on the front burners. The jacuzzi cover was torn to shreds and looked very trashy and not well kept. The jacuzzi kept shutting off and tripping the breaker so we had to reset it several times just to enjoy 10-15 minutes in it. Also like others mentioned the pool was very cold and not set to 80 degrees like stated. I read other comments about it being cold so I brought my pool thermometer and it was in low 70’s every time. The washing machine needs to be cleaned out. We did a few loads the last night before leaving on our last night there and it had this horrible smell. Lastly the carpets downstairs were pretty dirty and needed a shampoo job or something because you could see stains in the carpets of some areas. The little things didn’t ruin the trip or anything. It was just a bunch of minor things that you would not expect to deal with when paying so much a night for a rental.

My family loved Lake Tahoe and the house was in a good location to town and activities. We were to stay there last year but because of Covid we could not come. I asked for a deposit refund and was refused the deposit. I am a cancer survivor and had even submitted a letter from my doctor. They granted us this year but not the dates we had the year before. Therefore some of my family could not be there the whole week. we pay a lot to stay in a house that will accommodate our family and there were minor repairs that should have been taken care of before we entered the house. I feel owners should be more accommodating to refunds of deposits when there is a crisis such as last year during Covid. I have rented a lot of houses in the past for our vacations but will think hard next time after what I went through with the deposit last year.

Weekend getaway staying with family in this beautiful home. Kids enjoyed the indoor pool, the room was heated but the “heated pool ” was not as warm as we would’ve liked it to be. Everyone loved the open concept from kitchen to living room and dining area which allowed the entire family to be together all in one big room. Dennis was helpful in explaining our stay in details and check in was easy. 10 min drive to state line casinos and shops. They do have outdoor cameras in the front and in the garage which did not state on the listing but overall, home was beautiful and would definitely stay here again. Thank you Dennis and Gladys.

My family and I went up to Tahoe to spend New Years and staying at this cabin made it one of the best vacations we ever had. I totally recommend it. The kids always had something to do as well as the adults. Very spacious, clean, has every you need.

This is a house that made our stay feel like home, the house is in excellent quiet area that is still close to the ski resort and town, it has everything anyone would want for a relaxing and enjoyable stay, the communication between the management was excellent even in these difficult times, loved it and I will be back.
