Unfortunately, we weren’t able to complete our stay as the hurricane took out all the power, but for the brief time we were there, the unit was very nice, cleanly and as advertised. The host was very accommodating to the situation and worked well to resolve it with us. We truly appreciate it, despite the unexpected situation.

No fault of the facilities,but the weather was rainy. Our only complaint was the pool closing so early in the day. One of the reasons for our booking was the pool.

The property was beautiful and so was the condo! The host kept very well communication during Hurricane Beryl, and was very upfront and honest about the possibilities of needing to cancel. We ended up being able to go, and had the best time! So clean and nice.

Condo had all the necessities for a perfect stay. Seawall was 5 minutes by car,10 minutes walking. Overall,great vacation.

I found the apartment to be nicely appointed and welcoming. The layout was nicely decorated feeling light and airy. The overall impression was a clean and nicely furnished place to stay. The complex was busy but not noisy - a pleasant space. Its closeness to the seawall and eating establishments made it an ideal place for exploring Galveston as well as enjoying the beach. I would definitely recommend the seaside village apartments and plan on staying there again. Thank you for such a nice place to rest and stay.

Good location. It was behind a strip center and was tricky to find initially. Kids loved the pool. Must have pool bands on at all times. We had no need for the property manager. We did have a question for owners upon check out and had a late response; however, this did not impact our stay. Overall, we enjoyed mornings at the beach, fishing lessons at Galveston Island State park and evenings at the pool or playing put-put. Beignets at Gumbo Finer are a must and we enjoyed breakfast and Shy Katz.

Everything was perfect for our few days of beach vacation! The condo was beautiful and very inviting. Normally my daughter and I don't bother to unpack and just live out of suitcases. This was not the case this time. We completely unpacked and felt at home. The community was quiet and everyone was very friendly. Itthe condo is perfectly located on the Seawall. Tons of restaurants within walking diatance. We will definitely book with Christine again.

Went to Galveston to relax a few days before graduation of my nephew in Houston. Relaxing space, centrally located to everything one would want to do.

Although the complex is older, the condo was well equipped, comfortable, and clean. We enjoyed our stay.

My husband and I greatly enjoyed staying here with our toddler. Was super quiet, loved the pool area and loved the proximity to everything. Had concerns about location prior to our stay but it was fantastic!!

Nice, quiet, clean

The condo was very clean and roomy. It had all the amenities one would need for a week/ month. The location to the beach was close and they did have some chairs, umbrella and a wagon to use( a little rough but got the job done). It was advertised as sleeps 6 but only had 2 beds and an air mattress that didn’t hold air through the night. The grills provided could use an update, the gas one didn’t work, and one of the 2 charcoal ones was pretty rusty. The pool closed at 5:30 which has the grills in so cooking out was canceled and kids couldn’t swim. This would be better with a longer open time. Management was gone on training so it was hard to let them know this, but overall it is a great place just needs some updates to a few things.

The property was nice. Needs a bit of a deep clean (baseboards and ceiling fans). Loved the 1/2 bath on main floor! Very disappointed the hot tub was being repaired during our stay.

Positives are, it was clean, central to a lot of activities, safe, spacious and had all the stuff you needed for a trip including kitchen stuff for Christmas dinner. It was quiet, and the neighbors we met were nice. It is close to the boardwalk, about a half mile to crosswalk, which you need to safely cross the 5 lane road to the beach/boardwalk. Restaurants nearby as well. The reason for low stars on some ratings, was the pool, hot tub situation. When we got to our place, the pool was locked, since it was Christmas Eve we didn't think anything of it. When we finally got in, the hot tub was cold. I texted to ask about it and he said it was broke and they were having a hard time getting parts. Understandable, but when I said have your pool guys check the pool, it is quite dirty, he told me it was closed for the season. He texted the next day to say the hot tub wouldn't be fixed by the time we left. When we book properties, we specifically choose places with a pool and hot tub, we do not get a place without. Nowhere was it listed that the pool was closed for the season. When I responded to his text the next day with this and how I was upset about that and would not have booked his place knowing this, he never responded to this text. Please change your listing to reflect this. Your place was beautiful and tons of positives, but with kids a pool and hot tub were wanted. Also, I have to note, the office was not opened during stated holiday hours when we checked a few times.

Great location, very quiet and peaceful

This VRBO was perfect for a quick getaway to Galveston. Easy access to the beach.The beds were comfortable and the condo was cozy. We had a slight hiccup upon arrival getting access to the key but the property manager was there in 1 minute to assist.

The place was very nice, but the two door knobs both required to be turned to open the door was annoying and dangerous. The neighborhood seemed safe and quiet. I would stay there again.
