This home was perfect for a girls getaway at the beach. The hosts were amazing and the house had absolutely everything we needed and more. You couldn’t ask for a better location or home to stay at in Santa Cruz!

Great location and very well maintained property. Plenty of real green plants and flowers that make you feel at home. I am most impressed by the flower pot found on the kitchen counter top, first I thought they were fake flowers, then I realized they were beautifully arranged bunch of fresh herbs, it has rosemary, mint, thyme, basil and others that I can't name of. They are all fresh! It is simply amazing. To top it off, the flower pot is painted with some of the herbs, how approporicate!

Great location, close to beach. Big kitchen., nice outdoor space. Teens got to visit boardwalk and adults got to roam nearby beaches. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Stayed at Cathy's place for Spring Break with my sister and two nieces. The house is lovely and clean with a beautiful backyard and front yard full of flowers. We enjoyed the hot tub and outdoor shower as well as the beach bikes. Fresh flowers, herbs and lemons were a special touch in the house! Cathy was wondering to work with and the neighborhood is close to Pleasure Poknt area.

This home gave us all the comfort and rest we needed. I love to cook, and the kitchen was fabulous. All the beautiful flowers and plants, bird feeders, hot tub, hammock were so comforting. Thank you thank you for all of the love, care and work you put into your home and for sharing it with other people. Could you please double check that the directions address says 354 because I think it says 350. Marcus went in your driveway at first.

We had such a wonderful stay! The house was a great size for our family of 4 with 2 small children. We especially appreciated all the kids' gear and toys that were available for us to use, and the hosts were very welcoming. The location was great too.

Clean, Wonderful space. The location was perfect for our little fam of 3. The hosts were quick to reply and provided everything needed for a weeks stay. We visit every year in January and are already looking forward to next year.

Our son, his wife and baby daughter live in Capitola. Our younger son and his fiancée flew down from Oregon to join us (we flew in from Texas) The house was beautifully decorated for Christmas which delighted us and our granddaughter. We were able to prepare and serve family meals so the family members living in Capitola could join us as well. The house worked perfectly for our needs - sleeps 4 people but accommodates 6 adults plus a baby for meals and family time. We were very pleasantly surprised that there was a highchair stored in the garage. While it’s one bath, there’s a pocket door between the shower and toilet; this allows other family members t use the sink and mirror as needed The owners were Very responsive and while there were a few requests concerning the use of the house, there weren’t as many as we’ve experienced elsewhere.

This property was a really great stay for our family. We were traveling with an 18 month old and it had everything and more to keep her safe and entertained with special toys. The place was spotless- so clean and very comfortable. The kitchen is great if you are looking to do some cooking. It is fully stocked with every possible piece of kitchen equipment you can imagine. Overall, the place was very cozy and comfortable. We were able to relax and the neighborhood was walkable and safe. Great coffee shops just up the street (cat and cloud).

My family enjoyed this lovely, spacious, well-stocked guest house near the beaches and Santa Cruz. Cathy, the host, was super accommodating and kind—this is a real gem.

This house was perfect for our stay. The house was VERY clean and comfortable. The communication was great before and during the stay. The location couldn’t be better. Overall a VERY GOOD experience!!

I absolutely love this house. The beautiful grounds, the sweet bird feeders, the cute nautical decor, the relaxing hot tub, the short walk to the beach where I saw sea otters and dolphins! Cathy and Andre are the perfect hosts; very responsive and provide everything you need. I’m glad I live in the Bay Area because I will be back!

Our stay at Cathy’s property was perfect. Check in and check out was very easy and Cathy was very helpful. We were dropping our Freshman off at UC Santa Cruz and the house was a great base for both getting ready for drop off and exploring Santa Cruz. Beds were comfortable and the living room was great for relaxing. We loved walking down the street to watch the sunset over the beach. Will try to stay here again when we visit!

Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay in Pleasure Point at Cathy's lovely home The home had everything we needed for a comfortable stay with kids (ages 10 and 5), particularly a well equipped kitchen and outdoor grill, with everything we needed to prepare meals. I appreciated the coffee grinder so I could fresh- grind some local beans from Cat and Cloud and Verve (both nearby!). Our kids enjoyed the grass area in the front and the hammock in the back, perfect areas for them to play while we prepared meals, as well as all the outside toys and beach toys. Having garage access was a big plus, to keep our bikes and for easy access to the house. Thank you Cathy for a wonderful stay. We hope to be back soon.

Great place to stay

We were so happy to have stayed here...the yard, the house, the hot tub, the proximity to the beach, all great. But best of all was the kindness of the host when we had external logistical challenges that were graciously handled by the host. Thank you!

The house is cozy and was perfect for our 7 night stay! The location was absolutely amazing- we walked with our 3 year old to the beach daily! Thanks for the beach toys and wagon! The house is fully stocked and we really appreciated it! There were books and games for our little one. We loved all the windows and natural light and the hot tub and hammock! Also Cathy was just delightful. We will be back!

Loved the gated front yard and the spacious back yard. Beds were comfortable and there was lots of natural light. The owner was very helpful and responded quickly to my messages. I appreciated being in a quiet neighborhood and away from all the boardwalk madness.

My family enjoyed 4 days at the very comfortable beach house. The front yard is very pretty and relaxing, covered with flower gardens. Only a short walk to a great beach!

Our daughter graduated from ucsc! Can’t beat the location. Beautiful, comfortable house inside and out! Owner Cathy is wonderful. And you have optional pet therapy with Sam the cat during your stay. No downside.

We were going to use the house as a home base to do more walking and shopping but, the house was so nice to be in the outdoor spaces. We just lazed around in the garden. Quick walk to the beach was very convenient with littles. My three year old and one year old loved the toys. My ten year old loved the games.

Cathy’s house was perfect for our weekend getaway. The house was exactly as presented in the pictures. It’s an easy walk to 26 Ave Beach and a short drive to many others. House is well provisioned with plenty of beach gear. Would absolutely stay again.
