My family enjoyed this lovely, spacious, well-stocked guest house near the beaches and Santa Cruz. Cathy, the host, was super accommodating and kind—this is a real gem.

This house was perfect for our stay. The house was VERY clean and comfortable. The communication was great before and during the stay. The location couldn’t be better. Overall a VERY GOOD experience!!

I absolutely love this house. The beautiful grounds, the sweet bird feeders, the cute nautical decor, the relaxing hot tub, the short walk to the beach where I saw sea otters and dolphins! Cathy and Andre are the perfect hosts; very responsive and provide everything you need. I’m glad I live in the Bay Area because I will be back!

Our stay at Cathy’s property was perfect. Check in and check out was very easy and Cathy was very helpful. We were dropping our Freshman off at UC Santa Cruz and the house was a great base for both getting ready for drop off and exploring Santa Cruz. Beds were comfortable and the living room was great for relaxing. We loved walking down the street to watch the sunset over the beach. Will try to stay here again when we visit!

Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay in Pleasure Point at Cathy's lovely home The home had everything we needed for a comfortable stay with kids (ages 10 and 5), particularly a well equipped kitchen and outdoor grill, with everything we needed to prepare meals. I appreciated the coffee grinder so I could fresh- grind some local beans from Cat and Cloud and Verve (both nearby!). Our kids enjoyed the grass area in the front and the hammock in the back, perfect areas for them to play while we prepared meals, as well as all the outside toys and beach toys. Having garage access was a big plus, to keep our bikes and for easy access to the house. Thank you Cathy for a wonderful stay. We hope to be back soon.

Great place to stay

We were so happy to have stayed here...the yard, the house, the hot tub, the proximity to the beach, all great. But best of all was the kindness of the host when we had external logistical challenges that were graciously handled by the host. Thank you!

The house is cozy and was perfect for our 7 night stay! The location was absolutely amazing- we walked with our 3 year old to the beach daily! Thanks for the beach toys and wagon! The house is fully stocked and we really appreciated it! There were books and games for our little one. We loved all the windows and natural light and the hot tub and hammock! Also Cathy was just delightful. We will be back!

Loved the gated front yard and the spacious back yard. Beds were comfortable and there was lots of natural light. The owner was very helpful and responded quickly to my messages. I appreciated being in a quiet neighborhood and away from all the boardwalk madness.

My family enjoyed 4 days at the very comfortable beach house. The front yard is very pretty and relaxing, covered with flower gardens. Only a short walk to a great beach!

Our daughter graduated from ucsc! Can’t beat the location. Beautiful, comfortable house inside and out! Owner Cathy is wonderful. And you have optional pet therapy with Sam the cat during your stay. No downside.

We were going to use the house as a home base to do more walking and shopping but, the house was so nice to be in the outdoor spaces. We just lazed around in the garden. Quick walk to the beach was very convenient with littles. My three year old and one year old loved the toys. My ten year old loved the games.

Cathy’s house was perfect for our weekend getaway. The house was exactly as presented in the pictures. It’s an easy walk to 26 Ave Beach and a short drive to many others. House is well provisioned with plenty of beach gear. Would absolutely stay again.

A family vacation with two grandparents and our small family of three. We hit the beach every morning before breakfast with our toddler. It is a beautiful property, equipped with everything you need - from toys to body boards, a waffle maker and hot tub. We had a wonderful stay

The space was super welcoming, and included such lovely touches as fresh flowers around the house. We also enjoyed cooking in the kitchen.

This home was so clean and inviting. The first thing we noticed was the mesmorizing smell of jasmine surrounding the house and the beautiful flowers and yards. The home inside was very tidy and super well organized! I personally loved all the labels everywhere to help us know where to look in the kitchen. Our 3 year old daughter loved finding all the toys, crafts, and gamesin the garage and we also loved spending time in the yards running, exploring, finding "treasure" and playing soccer. My husband and I loved relaxing in the hammock. We used the hot tub once and it was magical, wish we had done it more but our days were pretty full! We loved how close the house was to the beach and it was only a short drive away from some other highlights of Santa Cruz. Cathy was so easy to get in touch with and was always available to help out if we needed adventure advice or help with anything in the house. All in all, this home was incredibly comfortable and relaxing and we would definitely recommend it and know it will be our first choice if we visit again in the future. Wonderful neighborhood, 2 blocks from beach, beautifully appointed home and flower filled garden for heavenly week in Santa Cruz. Artistic decor, fully equipped kitchen for cooking needs, cozy throw blankets in living room, Adirondack chairs in garden as you watch the finches feeding nearby. Cathy is available for your every need.

I cannot say enough about our stay and this property…every last detail was thought of and present…we have two large trucks but they both fit in the driveway off the street…such a comfort knowing we would be tucked away for the night…the white picket fence that bordered the enclosed yard was a blessing…two little ones could play out front while i read on the front porch sitting in a Adirondack chair with comfy pillow, supporting my back, surrounded by wildflowers and hummingbirds… Or I could easily watch them from the kitchen sink out the beautiful windows… The house itself is airy and sunlit throughout with beautiful plants to make you feel at home… A fireplace that you will find stocked with firewood, inside a comfy family room with lush pillows and fluffy blankets… TVs that can easily stream any of your favorite programs… The little touches in the kitchen were amazing… To find hot chocolate supplies, waiting along with extra keys to the front door… everything from coffee to cooking supplies to a warming drawer in the kitchen made it easy to feel at home… Off the kitchen is the entrance to the garage, which was like walking into a candy store… Washer and dryer, laundry baskets, bicycles, ice chests, beach chairs, board games, books, toys, wetsuits, water, shoes, and the list goes on… I couldn’t believe how perfectly appointed every detail was… My kids love staying in the sunlit bedroom with two twin beds… The back deck along with the spa and hammock made for wonderful memories… There’s even a fire pit right off the outside dining table… I can’t wait to stay again… the neighborhood was amazing and could easily walk to multiple beaches… Pleasure point pizza, and the pleasure point market were wonderful and friendly… Don’t hesitate… Book your stay here immediately

What a beautiful place! Very spacious, cute and modern. The beach access is great and easy to get to. Loved the hot tub especially since it was cold and rained. Would definitely stay here again!

Even with some crazy weather we had an amazing time with this home as our home base. We traveled both north and south exploring the coast. The home was well stocked and had games that my kids enjoyed. The hot tub was a great perk. Cathy was so accommodating and we appreciated the special touches throughout the home.

We had a wonderful stay at Cathy's home. The kids (2 and 4) enjoyed all of the games and toys, and we loved how central it was to many different parts of the area. The house had everything we needed and more. The extra touches were very much appreciated. We can't wait to stay here again!

Perfect location, walking distance to everything you need! Went tide pooling during a minus tide and enjoyed beautiful sunsets at 26th. Thank you all for helping us have a perfect visit!

It was a rainy weekend, but we definitely enjoyed our time visiting with our son who is attending UC Santa Cruz and with friends in town. During the one day of sun we enjoyed the cute little backyard and spa, and when it was damp we enjoyed to comfort and coziness of the house. Cathy is a wonderful host and we will definitely be staying again.

The home was exactly as described. It is a wonderful place to stay. Hot tub, fireplace, great kitchen, comfortable living room with surround sound TV. One block from the beach. This is the perfect place for a family or couple who wants to relax after seeing some of the sights of the California coast. I have stayed in homes from Iceland to Australia, and this was one of the best.

My husband and I throughly enjoyed our stay. Cathy made the house very comfortable, clean, quick to respond to us and loved the beautiful front and back yards.
