The house was the perfect location for what we needed. Very clean and well decorated.

Came up for the Lake Placid Marathon. This was our second time coming up to the race and second time staying at this location. It was exactly what we needed and made the whole weekend stress free. The dog friendly amenity was so helpful and the space is perfect for a pup. It’s walking distance to anything and everything in the area. 10 out of 10 will always recommend.

My friends and I made our annual trek to Lake Placid for the ECAC Hockey Championship. This was our second year staying at this location, and once again we really enjoyed it. The close proximity to the arena is unmatched, and the four bedrooms were spacious and well kept. Already looking forward to returning in 2024!

Incredible location and a great set up for a traveling family. Had everything we needed for our stay. Couldn’t figure out the TV, but that was for the best anyway!

This is a great place to stay. We were in town for my wife’s birthday with family and friends. Everything you could ask for and exactly as it is described in the listing. Very conveniently located close to everything but still very quite. Will definitely rent again next time we are in town. The owner was great to work with and an absolute pleasure to deal with.

Very nice house. New bathrooms, excellent appliances, lot's of dishes, glasses, etc. Plenty of room. Wonderful place to enjoy a short walk to the town restaurants and shops. Owner was very accessible and helpful throughout our stay.

4 teens and Mom and Dad were very comfortable. The communication was great! Firepit was used 3 of 4 evenings- a nice way to end days of hiking, fishing, kayaking, shopping, etc. Thank you!!!

We had a lovely ladies weekend staying at this house the beds are so comfortable it’s like sleeping in the cloud. Quiet side street yet a quick walk to town. I would definitely stay here again!

Our family spent Thanksgiving weekend in this lovely home. Cozy and warm, we settled in for a 9” snowfall. Rooms provide plenty of space for puzzles, reading and dining. Centrally located, we took walks daily and enjoyed the shops. We’d unequivocally recommend staying here.

This property is amazing , beautiful home , spotlessly clean , comfortable ,and Spacious. Short walk to Stewart’s and not a bad walk downtown and back . Awesome time great hosts make it easy

Stayed for 10 days with 6 adults and 3 kids and fit comfortably in the house. Pet friendly was wonderful as well. Great location for walking into town. Would definitely stay again!

Great location. Walk to shops, restaurants, Mirror Lake and Olympic museum.

This was our first trip in over a year and it was perfect. The house was exactly as described. Location was terrific. Our kids and dogs were very content with the space! Lake Placid was awesome. We were in between seasons and not all facilities were open, but we did check out the Olympic Ski Jump venues that were very cool, and snowshoeing at MVH was super fun on a gorgeous mild day. We loved shopping Main St, ice cream trips to Emma’s, lunch at the Dancing Bears restaurant. The kids loved the pizza from Main St pizza down the road. And it was nice to be able to just walk to town. Mirror Lake was beautiful. We hope to come back next winter to take full advantage of the winter attractions. Thank you Denise for letting us stay at your house.

We had a fabulous trip! Denise and Garry’s place is in a great location in the center of Lake Placid. It was very clean and a perfect set-up for our family. Denise was very responsive to any questions we had. We enjoyed skiing at Whiteface, XC skiing at Mt. Van Hoevenberg, hiking in the Peninsula Trails and walking around town. We had a wonderful long weekend in Lake Placid. Highly recommend!

Great and very comfortable home 3 minutes walk from town.

We had a wonderful time and felt very comfortable and safe despite these COVID times. The house has an amazingly convenient location within walking distance to all of the town attractions including the Olympic Speedskating Oval right across the street and just 15 mins to Whiteface for skiing! Kitchen was well setup for cooking our own meals. Finally it was so great that we could bring along our dog Leo who loved playing in the fenced yard. Thanks so much!
