The property was very nice and clean and a great location. There’s plenty of things to do within walking distance and even more a short drive away. I’d def return to this property next time I’m in the area. Our host was very accommodating, the home was very comfortable and plenty of kitchen supplies and a grill if you choose to eat in.

Place was in a great location. You can walk to most restaurants. Very clean and cute.

We enjoyed our 4 day stay very much in Custer! The home was perfect for two sisters who needed a hub to see the sights in the Custer area! We enjoyed the layout as we had living area and a bathroom upstairs and two bedrooms with bath downstairs! It was very convenient to downtown! The home was very clean and comfortable! We had chairs and a table outside to enjoy our coffee in the morning and wine in the evening!! Big plus was having a washer and dryer on site which worked out very well for us!! We would definitely stay here again if in the area! It was perfect for us! Thank you!!

This cottage was clean and cozy. It was a great base for exploration of the Badlands and Black Hills

Property was wrll equipped, clean, cozy and close to everything Custer has to offer. Julie was a good communicator. Everything about the house was very good

The cabin was ckean and more than comfortable. The location couldn't have been better. We were able to get out and do all the rides we wanted to. We were even able to take a short hike in town. We left personal stuff behind, the owners mailed it out when we realized it. I would not suggest to anyone to go to Mt Rushmore Brewery. The atmosphere, wait staff and food was very disappointing. However, Clamity Janes was the perfect breakfast spot. We had a great time in Custer. I'd stay there again if given the chance.

Great location for visiting Custer and the surrounding area. We walked to dinner and around town every night.

Cute little place! Every morning we’d look out the window and see hot air balloons in a crystal blue sky. 100 yrs of Gold Discovery Days, and 50th Custer class reunion. Yep! We’re that old! We walked everywhere with my new hip😂. When sis and I had some confusion checking in, Julie responded immediately! One minor suggestion, a little upgrade on the bedding can make nice difference. Thank-you! We want to return. 💜‼️

Our group consisted of four adults traveling together. The cabin is clean and centrally located for exploring Mount Rushmore, Rapid City, Crazy Horse, Memorial, and so much more. The living space upstairs is a little tight and could use one more comfortable place to sit. Also, both bedrooms are downstairs with one bathroom up and one down.

We had a great time. Custer is a tremendous little town with lots of things to offer. Beautiful part of the state.

Very enjoyable property that met all of our needs for a week's vacation in the area. Is centrally located to reach all attractions in that area. Check-in process was easy and clear.

We were two adult couples out touring the beautiful Black Hills. While the property is small overall it was just right for two couples. We each had our own bedroom. The bedrooms on both on the lower level where there is one of two full baths; the other full bath is on the main floor. Cute galley kitchen that has a table for 4. Living room had a couch large enough for 3 and one additional chair so all of us could watch a little TV together; we did not watch much. We were pleased to walk out the door and within a few blocks had access to some great dinning, coffee shops, and shopping if you'd like. It served our needs well and there was great communication with the Property Owner. It was very clean, which was most important to all four of us.

Vrbo had advertised this property was in more in a "wood like setting", however this property is right in the city. We were not disappointed as the home was very nice.

This property is located close to downtown for shopping and dinner. It is driving distance to Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park, Black Elk Peak, Wind Cave, Jewel Cave and hiking/paddling. This was the perfect location for us and the kitchen was a great plus.

We found this cute cabin perfect for our group trip to enjoy riding to all the destinations in South Dakota. Bonus that it was easy walking eateries and stores. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Close to downtown. Nice little house. Hard to find out first but was probably due to my GPS. Perfect location to experience the sights.

It was a clean and cute home. Adorable decorations made it feel cozy. Comfortable beds and well stocked kitchen. There were even game boards and cards. The steps down to the bedrooms had motion lights that kept you safe when dark. It was close to many attractions which made it so handy and a half a block from a DQ! I really enjoyed my stay.

The property was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. We were close to everything as well, so very convenient! One thing to note for folks with mobility issues is that the bedrooms are downstairs.

This great little house was just perfect to share with the big house next door. We had 12 people so it worked out just great for all of us to eat together have have a couple on the patio. The house is walking distance from everywhere in downtown custer. We had a great stay!

This property is perfect for 2 to 4 people in 2 bedrooms. The stairs are carpeted and that makes them easy to navigate. We used the outside walkway and back door to bring in our suitcases. I’m fussy and would have liked newer bath mats. Location wise - it was perfect. Thanks, Julie!!

Location is excellent for all the activities and sights Custer has to offer. Lots of tourism in this area so plan your trip carefully and in advance. The home has everything you need. The bedrooms, bathroom and laundry are downstairs. Keep this in mind if you have challenges with mobility. You will find the home clean and the beds comfortable. I especially like the ability to do some laundry during the visit. The host has great communication.

We enjoyed staying and our time in the black hills! The house was a great place to land in the evening after a day out! Only complain would be air conditioner had a hard time keeping up, but opened windows at night. Except one bedroom that didn’t have a screen on the window!

Terrific & well maintained place to stay in Custer SD; reasonably close to several National Parks & Monuments. Convenient walking distance to many places for food & drink.

The home was what we expected based on photos online. The home was equipped with most everything we needed. We cooked a pizza the first night we were there and it burned so suggest checking oven temp as it runs hot or add a note for future guests. 😁 The little air conditioner could not keep up with the very warm SoDak July temps. Very appreciative of the washer and dryer and grill. Thanks for letting us stay!

Great location, fully stocked kitchen, two bed/two bath so great for families.

We had a group of 5 friends who stayed in Custer to bike ride on the Mickelson trail. The cottage was a little difficult to find, but Julie was available and we quickly found it. Julie also warned us that it only has 2 bedrooms. One of our party slept on the rollout bed and it worked just fine. We had everything we needed there, was a block from the main drag and great shopping and options for food. Not far from Custer State Park, Sylvan Lake, Mt. Rushmore, great hiking and biking. Will definitely go back.

Very well located to downtown shops, restaurants, and local parks. Not really a patio, as listing states. More like chairs in the parking area. Very clean and well equipped.

Owners were very quick to respond to questions. Nice place for a small group.

There is a cute little market in town, but really pricey. Also a Family Dollar is very convenient right across the street. We did lots of day trips, Mt Rushmore and Crazy Horse are very close. Hill Citys 1880 train was a nice trip. We took a day and went to the Fish hatchery in Spearfish and then up to Devils Tower in WY. Very nice trip.
