This was a beautiful 1800's historical home. We absolutely loved our stay here. And the pool was so beautiful and inviting. Our family had a wonderful time here. It was spacious and had everything we needed. Many wonderful memories were made here. We will definitely come back again!

Family and friends stay for fishing. Able to eat at Millers (amazing), little Daddy’s (amazing) and cook some great seafood at the house. Kitchen is great, so nice to have some staples (seasonings, oils, etc) in the kitchen. Pool and hot tub were amazing and used the whole trip! Will stay here again!

Everything was nice and clean and the owner was responsive. We really enjoyed the pool. We had a fun weekend!

This property is awesome. The host "Ramona" has everything you need to make your stay comfortable and affordable. There is coolers and toys for the beach, toys for the pool, the hot tub is relaxing, and she has a propane and charcoal grill. We go to Mardi Gras every year and this house by far is the best house for location and space for comfort.

The house and its location was perfect for our family Thanksgiving gathering. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. It was cold for the hot tub and pool but some of our group enjoyed them both. We walked to many of the locations of interest. The tub in the master bath and the sink in the other upstairs bath were very slow to drain. We were confused because the email we received and the instructions in the house differed on procedure for the handling of the sheets, towel etc.Overall wefound the house to be delightful. I was not the last to leave and hope we followed the rules for existing properly except for the laundry.

Group of senior ladies really enjoyed the pool. Beautiful grounds with plenty of seating in shade or sun. Kitchen was well equipped with a large table so we could all sit together. Beds were comfortable. Minimal hanging space was our only disappointment. Definitely recommend!

We spend our family vacation annually in Galveston and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Ramona, our host, was very responsive and welcoming. The house was beautifuly decorated, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well-stocked. There's an apartment in the garage downstairs but the eight of us slept comfortably in the house. The pool and hottub were awesome and there was plenty of patio seating. The house is pet friendly but there is no grass in the back or front yard so you will have to take your furbaby outside the front gate to potty. We went on several walks daily and found some wonderful neighborhood locations: Island Pier Club on 17th and O Street, Sonny's around the corner on 19th Street, the beach was about a 5-minute walk, our favorite Fish Company Taco is located on 23rd Street, and the Strand is a quick 5-minute drive away. Great rental property; you will not be disappointed.

Beautiful house in Galveston. It was about 6 blocks to the beach. Hot tub in particular was EXCELLENT -- 103 degrees kept the kids out and allowed me to marinate while they swam. We had a wonderful time. Host was kind and quick to respond.

Beautiful home, the host was readily available, the pool was awesome, and the location is close to the beach. I would highly recommend this location.

Our stay was nice and relaxing. Instructions as to what to do and directions to follow pertaining to the house rules were not explicit. There was nothing to indicate where the towels were in the hall bath (behind the Mirror) or how to work the ROKU TV, to mention a few. I must say there were roaches in the kitchen. Quite a lot actually.

Had 10 friends meet up in TX. The pool was amazing! Close to ocean and the strand.

Although the pool was still a little too cool since it was May, we still managed to enjoy the hot tub and the pool on one day. It was a great place to stay with our scottie dog and the house has so many of the basic things you need for cooking that are often missing from short term rentals. Excellent on all points. The place is centrally located and you can easily walk to the beach and area restaurants. The only negative is relative to large king size room and bed. The mattress and pillows weren't very comfortable. We were only there for 3 nights so it wasn't a deal killer but a longer would have been an issue.

I treated our kids and grandkids and myself to a long weekend in Galveston to do the Historical Homes Tour, as an early Mother’s Day gift to myself. We were stunned by the beauty of the property where we stayed! Not only was it beautiful and historical, but it is maintained to perfection. And so clean, you probably could have eaten off the floors.The hostess, Ramona, is great to work with, and very prompt to respond to emails and texts. Overall, we’ve never had a better experience with any place we’ve stayed on a vacation.

This house comfortable housed 10 adult family members who had a great quiet and relaxing girls weekend away. The house was very clean and gorgeous.

We did a get together with our co-workers and absolutely loved this house. There are multiple places to gather inside and out. The pool/hot tub and outdoor area has plenty of seating and is so peaceful. There is a great downstairs private apartment. We didn't use it, but it would work great for older family. I can't say enough great things about Ramona. If I sent a text she responded. We had no issues and I would definitely like to go back for another stay with my family. I highly recommend this rental! The adults in my family decided we wanted to do something different for Christmas this year so we rented this house for the weekend. The stay started off a little rough due to the unusually cold weather we had. The heat wasn’t working. Ramona was on it and did everything possible to get the heat fixed and the house warm. The house is beautiful with lots of historic charm. My only regret is that we didn’t book it for longer! We’re already planning our next trip!

The weather wasn't very nice during our stay, but that just made the hot tub that much better. The house was great and the very convenient to most things in Galveston. There is also the oldest bar in Galveston just around the corner called Sonny's Place that was fantastic.

It was chilly during our stay so the heated pool and hot tub were great to have. The host was very helpful and friendly. Nice big kitchen and rooms on main level. Bottom suite was nice to have but has low ceilings. Kitchen was well equipped and appreciated the pantry and fridge supplies. Overall, our family enjoyed our time together there.

The rental process was quite easy. The location was very good within a short walk to the beach or a short drive to downtown. The neighbors were friendly and welcomed us. The facilities offered everything we needed to have a great holiday vacation.

Bringing the whole family down from IL/MO area after that long car ride stepping out to this house was everything we could have asked for :) Rhonda the property manager even told us we could check in early if we got their early knowing how far we had been driving. Her communication with us was like we had known her forever. This beautiful house had Victorian features that is hard to find, beach vibes from room to room. Kitchen was nicely labeled for you to find anything you needed. The back deck overlooked the family pool area with the hot tub which all of enjoyed with the cool salty fresh air from the ocean not far from the house. The bottom apartment was perfect for my mother in law who has to utilize with a walker. She had everything she needed and could still come join us out back. This house has everything on your checklist and exceeds everything on your checklist! None of us wanted to leave! We hope we left it as amazing as we found it. Can’t wait to come back and book again!

Perfect home for our family visiting for a wedding at the Galvez Hotel. Fun to have a private pool and lots of space for all. Great location for exploring the area as well. Ramona was helpful and super easy to communicate with!
