We had a wonderful time. The cabin was clean, beds were comfortable and we just had a great time with family. I would recommend this cabin to anyone. The location is beautiful!!

Nice to have space to hold all of us. Really liked the separation of bedroom spaces from the main areas. All the comforts of home. Thanks for sharing this great space!

The home is beautiful had everything we needed and more. The area is fabulous and right in the middle of everywhere we wanted to go and everything we wanted to do owners were so nice very helpful. It was a great vacation our whole group enjoyed it.

Could use some work. Loose screws sticking up on deck. Dirty dishes in drawers. Cookware was needing replaced. Broken kitchen chairs.

Spent a long weekend with family (15) at Diamond Dale and was more than satisfied with all of the amenities that it provided. Was a great and somewhat secluded location. Everyone had a great time!

There was a lot to love about this property. The kitchen was stocked and we made lots of meals there. There is also a nice deck with a hot tub. We did have trouble navigating the controls on the hot tube despite lots of "helps". (hand written instructions) There were a few places that I wish had substantial hand rails, going to the basement for one. The beds on the main and loft area were uncomfortable for me and my niece. We prefer a little give and softness so this may be a preference thing. I took to the couch and that did the trick for me. Overall this was a wonderful house and I would go again if we vacation again. I might mention that there were lots of chores and cleaning duties one had to preform in order to get deposit back. I was confused because the was also a cleaning fee. I wasn't a fan of cleaning so much when vacationing.

This is a great place to stay. Owners were very friendly and helpful. The house is stocked with everything you need! It was awesome!

Nice and fun get away

Diamond Dale is our favorite place to rent while in the Hills. It is easy to get to and easy to get to the trails. Diamond Dale is clean and has plenty of room!

Pros: Our family had a wonderful stay here and would definitely return (in the winter - see Cons list)! This property is in an absolutely stunning location. It is remote, but centrally located for so many of the major attractions in the Black Hills. The setting is very peaceful and tranquil. Nemo is a very small town but has a store that is well-stocked for most needs. The home is huge with enough bedrooms and, more importantly, bathrooms, to accommodate a large group. And it is a beautiful home. The kitchen is large and well-stocked with everything you need to prepare meals. There are two grills so there is enough grill space to cook for a large group. There are two decks so, depending on the time of day, you can pick where you want to spend time. The host is very responsive to inquiries and the property manager lives close in case there are issues. Cons: THERE IS NO AIR CONDITIONING and while the listing clearly doesn't state there IS air conditioning, we assumed there would be because the Black Hills gets very hot. And while it gets nice and cool over night, it got very hot in the house. Several windows do not have blinds or curtains so we had to fashion our own. We were also traveling with young children who are less able to handle the heat. This was a major drawback. Second major drawback - the cabin was needing a thorough deep cleaning and had maintenance issues. The grills were absolutely disgusting. We had to put some serious elbow grease into cleaning them before they could be used. The yard was not mowed and there were stinging nettles close to the decks, so the kids could not really play in the yard and the yard is situated on a hill. We tried to mow the lawn, but could not get the mower started. The decks are also missing railing that would make them safe for children. At some point a guest must have brought dogs, which they did not clean up after. There were also some maintenance issues including flickering lights, broken light fixtures, rotting deck boards, no cable during our stay (which did get fixed), and the dryer vent was broken. Given the nightly cost of the property, we expected a place in better condition.

Great location for trail rides! Nice house and everything we needed.

This is our second time staying at this great house! Our extended family ranged from ages 10-80. We spent 3.5 days riding ATVs and put on 236 miles riding the trails of Nemo right from the property. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook at the cabin. The kids enjoyed the hot tub. We saw deer while eating supper on the back deck. Hope to return again soon!

The house location was in a perfect location for jumping on the trails. And all of us had plenty of room to spread out and the common rooms were large enough for all ten of us to gather. I don't think I've ever rented a house that was so well stocked with cooking utensils and cleaning supplies on every level so we could clean up after the little ones.

Great place to get away for family time! WiFi was great, scenic views, wildlife, great beds!

House was in a beautiful location. It was close to the ATV trails. Kitchen was well stocked. Only 2 negatives...the yard is unkept so no outdoor space for the kids to play plus no air conditioning. Overall great place to stay.

Our family of 6 adults and 8 children ranging from infants to high school age had a wonderful time. We loved the layout of the house and the remote setting allowed us to observe the deer throughout each day. The owners were very responsive. Thanks for providing us the perfect getaway!

The host was very responsive, the property was just as described, and was perfect for the 10 of us to ride our SxS's for a long weekend. Having a STOCKED kitchen was wonderful! Will stay here again if we get the chance!

Great place for a group enjoying the Black Hills. Excellent location for off road riding. Excellent home with all the amenities for the stay, we needed nothing.

It was so nice to stay in a place where there was complete peace and quiet. I take the family (11 in all) to the Hills every year. We stay in a different place each time. This year’s choice was one of the best. We hope to stay there again next year.

Great place, full of wildlife and beautiful setting and house.

Our stay here was excellent. The home was clean, well furnished, and worked great for our three families. Our trip to hills was primarily to escape the tourist traps and enjoy the black hills trail system on our side by sides. The home had good access to the trail systems and within a handful of miles to the nearest convenience store to fuel up at the end of the day. We were a little concerned about the property not having Air Conditioning being our stay was in the middle of July but the house stayed pretty comfortable as long as the doors & windows were kept shut during the heat of the day. Open thing up in the evening would cool it down nicely. The decks offered natural scenery of the blackhills and mornings and evenings were always good to spot deer and other wildlife.

We truly enjoyed our stay in Nemo and our house was large enough for our 4 families to stay in. The house was well equipped and in a beautiful location in the Black Hills. We were centrally located to be able to see all the wonderful sights in the area.

Plenty of space for all of us. We had a family of deers that dropped by every night. We had great family time!

For being off the beaten path, it was fairly easy to find. Such a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere and gorgeous scenery. There was plenty of room for us all to spread out. Loved sitting in the hot tub under the stars at night. Would definitely recommend this property!!!

Beautiful cabin. Absolutely loved all the wood in the structure and the fireplace was also a big favorite. Stayed here with my wife and it was a little big for two people. Would be great for a large family or a couple of families. Biggest drawback was that it was a little dirty and had some random stuff laying around.
