Great location and awesome size. Family of 4 plus a friend had everything we needed. Fantastic location. We will be back.

The stay was very good, did see several water bugs. Otherwise the house was very clean, kitchen not well stocked if you want to cook a meal. Wasn’t told that the beach access was closed until about a week before our stay

Our family has had Memorial Day weekend vacations for many years. This year, we really enjoyed our stay at the Mediterranean Villa. It was clean, plenty of room, and very comfortable. Even the lack of direct beach access due to the hurricanes last year did not deter us from having a great time on the beach! We will definitely be staying here again in the future!!

The VRBO was very nice, easy check in and easy to contact property managers, but however the place was infested with roaches. Upon check in we found dead and/or dying roaches all over the floors in every room. I cleaned them up, but we kept finding more every morning.

This place could be a 5 but it has so many maintenance issues that have been reported but not addressed. Couches broken, dishwasher has so much scaling it doesn’t wash the dishes, mattress old and lumpy, dirty socks under bed, dried food under couch, broken lamp, live and dead roaches (we have stayed at 8 places in DB and never had a roach problem). Broken patio furniture, laundry in dryer (not ours). Parking was an issue and there is no public parking near by. If they just spent some money fixing the issues it would be fantastic. As it is now it’s not worth the money.

The property was well-cleaned and well-stocked. The house accommodated 5 elderly adults very comfortably. The amenities were plentiful and well-considered. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and viewing the ocean. Out of many fine houses I've rented in the Daytona area, this is the only one I would want to rent again. The only negative was palmetto bugs, but the hosts are doing every thing possible to keep them out. It's Florida, so bugs will be there.

Maintenance could be a little better

First the Oceans Luxury Rental team are top notch. We added a second unit as our group grew and they were fantastic at finding the right place for us. Their communication per, during and post trip were as good as I've ever seen. The Beachfront house was great for the group in it. We were there just after the hurricane so there was some damage and repair in progress. We'd been told this and it had no impact on the stay....again the right expectation setting. Planning to use them again next year!!

Booked unit 12 months ago. The communication was great even with two hurricanes later battering the east coast. We were able to check in two hours early. TV in Living room was not working but was quickly replaced. All the family (9 of us) had plenty of room. Sad we didn't have beach access and my favorite restaurant was closed due to Hurricane Ian. All in all a good time was had by all. We'll be back

This property was very well laid out with plenty of room, great kitchen and convenient location with great outdoor space. Even though a hurricane caused the beach to be not as easily accessible(no one can control that) the property management staff were upfront and easy to communicate with, a great property overall and would book again for our annual get away.

The view? STUNNING. Beautiful location, near the pier, easy beach access, watched the sunrise every morning. Could not have had a better view. The house? Needs help. Space wise accommodated all 9 of us perfectly, no complaints on bed availability. But this house clearly needs maintenance in several places (light fixtures rusted and falling out, no rail on the porch and loose bricks on the edge of porch, dining room chair legs wobbly and unsteady, reclining sofa stuck in the reclined positions), several dirty dishes put back in the cabinets… Previous reviews weren’t wrong… this house was infested with “Palmetto Bugs” aka cockroaches. During our 3 day stay, my family of 9 encountered no less than 30-40 of them. A few in our party live in FL and do not have this issue in their own homes. We were all petrified, grossed out, and disappointed. The management did offer some compensation in this regard, but that did not remove the problem. Overall - As long as we stayed outside looking at the ocean - we were happy; but the inside of the house could use some work, fumigation, and cleaning. So much wasted potential.

The rooms are slightly different from what is shown in the listing. The night we arrived, the grill wasn’t working from the previous guest. Maintenance showed up first thing the next morning with a different grill. Beach access and the view were very enjoyable. Parking was great and the shops in the area were all within walking distance. All in all, we had a good weekend.

It says the the property sleeps 10 (which we had 9) but only had silverware for 7. Kitchen was sparse when it also came to kitchen items to help cook. Dining room table only had 6 chairs which again is frustrating when it accommodates 4 more people. The DR chairs really need attention - the seats either need cleaned or replaced. And yes, there were big big bugs primarily in the kitchen - not a bad problem but enough to keep you on your toes when opening cupboard doors. Overall, we had a nice time.

What a great spot for a relaxing beach vacation. The house was great for our group - the full-sized bunks were a major plus. How was well stocked, but did have a few bugs hiding out in cabinets, but overall a great place!

Pros-Location of property in proximity to beach, shopping and dining Cons-Bugs-several dead in the unit upon arrival, more came out during the stay, and we experienced a significant leak in one of the bedrooms, called maintenance immediately to report it but nobody ever came.

The location was amazing but the property itself wasn’t bad but a bit dated. However, my main issue and I had a few was the gigantic roaches that we were greeted with upon arrival and throughout our stay. They know they have a roach problem because roach spray was available under every sink. They need to seriously do something about that and they need to update the linen on the beds and towels because they were dingy and stained. I was able to call and complain but nothing was done and I was not ever called back. Things could have been better but overall it was an okay trip if you bring your own linen and can ignore the slew of roaches that will try and take over the house if you let them.

I really enjoyed this beautiful paradise. You can drink in this view for days. Loved every second of this amazing Med Villa RIGHT on the beach! The description is on point, it is the ultimate get away!

We spent a month at Med Villa and it was great. Mesmerizing view of the ocean. The rooms and amenities were as listed. The property managers were responsive. Would definitely recommend this property.

This was the perfect beach home for our family vacation. It was exactly as described and clean. The location was perfect as it was close to family that live there. We definitely will be back!

Beautiful setting with convenient beach access. House held the 10 of us comfortably. Alittle short on kitchen supplies (dishwasher det, paper towels, dish towels), but other than that it was perfect!

We loved the location and everything about this place. It was perfect in terms of size and plenty of room for socializing with everyone. It made the family time so enjoyable for my son’s weekend wedding. Close to the venue and everything we needed!

View of the ocean was incredible. Lots of room for our family of nine. Loved the location. If only the weather had cooperated! I would stay here again. Checking out at 10 am is difficult with so many people but this seems to be standard practice no matter where you stay. Also checking in at 4pm during the winter leaves no time to enjoy the beach before dark. Wish there was more flexibility during off season.
