Just a place to sleep. Air conditioner couldnt cool the room.

We pretty much had everything we needed. Easy access to room- painless. Had pretty much all kitchen utensils for cooking. Parkkng was great and safe- if you’re driving from Denver - I wouldn’t take Loveland pass to get there. It was a pretty rough drive- take the Eisenhower tunnel if you can!

The guestbook checkin was very detailed and super simple! It was nice to have everything you need to cook and clean. It’s also nice to have Steep right downstairs for some delicious coffee in the morning and drinks in the evening. The location was good for walking to River Run but too far to walk with ski boots. It was a little warm in the room so we tried to adjust the temp but it didn’t work. We were told the thermostat doesn’t work and to crack the window. We did and it was fine. I read about hearing the neighbors through the thin walls and that did happen one night only. On the fridge is a phone number to call after hours to address those situations. Overall it was a great vacation and we were very happy.

The heating unit squeals when it is on and made it hard to sleep, and the spa area was not functioning the entire time. I would not recommend Gateway to anyone and would not book there again..

This property was in a beautiful location in Keystone. It was walking distance to a brewery and restaurants and a short drive to the resort and even more restaurants. The property didn’t quite live up to our expectations based off pictures, it is practically just a hotel room, but it was clean and the location was worth it. The property management company was unnecessarily difficult to work with. From the second we booked, to the horrible instruction packet provided with many errors for check in, they were difficult.

Reviewer Comments: We were so excited for this trip but were very disappointed in the condo overall. The pullout bed had a dirty mattress pad cover (blood stain) and the blankets were dirty also. The shower handle was very loose and thermostat wasn't working when we arrived- (we purchased batteries for it). The location was nice but it was definitely not worth the cost. I'm not the type to leave negative reviews, but wanted to try and help save another family from the same type of experience.

Disappointed. Linens, mattress pad on pull out couch were dirty. Shower handle very loose. Thermostat needed batteries. I’m not the type the leave a negative review but am leaving this in hopes of helping the next family. We flew across the country and were disappointed in this unit. :(

The room is located on Hwy 6 side so traffic was a bit loud. When we arrived in the room the fire alarm was going off. I called the number provided and they did not have any information on any tests going on. We checked in early but ended up leaving the room to wait for the alarm to stop. Biggest complaint was room 5026 had dogs that would constantly bark. The owners would just leave them alone. Anytime somebody would walk by the door they would go wild. Not fun when you are trying to sleep.

The room itself was clean and stocked. Just didn’t realize how close to Hwy 6 we were. The road noise at night was a bit much. Also didn’t realize people could have pets in the building. Room 5026 had 2 dogs that barked constantly.

Nice room for the price during the off-season. Everything worked except for the air conditioner. I couldn't determine if it was broken or simply disabled (no controls). The weather was pleasant and it wasn't needed, thankfully. The parking is easy and the location is excellent. The Haywood Cafe in the same building is worth hitting up for breakfast.

We came during mid-September so the area was not busy, however the weather was cool in the mornings and nights but warm during the days. The lodge itself was very clean and rooms had all items you would need. Nearby there are a lot of shops and food.

Older building and photos of condo are from awhile ago so does not look brand new - stayed 2 nights while riding keystone downhill bike park. Perfect for an affordable place to stay at the resort. The 2?washers and 2 dryers by the lobby are new and accept credit cards and will notify your phone when done if you want.

Stayed here for a couple nights to attend some concerts in Dillon. Perfect location 10 minutes from the venue on one side and 10 minutes from absolutely breathtaking hiking at A Basin on the other. The unit was clean, cozy, and wonderfully quiet. The AC wasn't super effective, but that's probably only an issue for a couple months in the summer. Between the fantastic location and the low cost, I will absolutely stay here again when I'm in the area.

The condo was fine, no problems. Only thing to mention is the bathroom floor (when room is steamy) & tub are extremely slippery - could be hazardous!

The unit itself isn’t too bad, as many others have stated it is more or less a hotel room with a little kitchenette. Our problem was the upkeep and management response. -Air conditioning did not work -Spent a miserable night hot with the windows open, frequently woken by traffic on rt 6 -Management sent maintenance who claimed it was fixed -Air conditioning continued not working so we did not stay the second night -Management offered what amounted to a 5% refund (of the room rate only, not counting the fees that about equaled the room rate) citing that it was 10% of the rate, and they were being generous by rounding up a few bucks for our inconvenience. Pros: -Room has ok space for two -Bed wasn’t bad -Garage would be nice to have during the winter Cons: -Air conditioning did not work -Bathroom faucet was poorly installed (water from tap enters at very back of bowl, no space to wash hands) -Even using both blinds and curtains lots of outside light gets into room -Kitchen setup is a hodgepodge of pots and hotplates (see their pictures) -No dishwasher in kitchenette -Route 6 passes 100 feet from unit window, frequent truck traffic -Very lengthy contract (many terms) required to rent unit for any length of time All told, we wouldn’t rent this unit again and I would caution against renting this unit or dealing with this management company. The place isn’t huge and they crammed a lot of stuff someone could possibly request into it, which may be appreciated by some but I found a little annoying when I discovered how full the closet was. The cold handle on the bathroom sink needed to be tightened down to work, and I’m not sure how housekeeping didn’t notice this and report it to maintenance. It begs the question of what else did they skip over or miss? The management company is pretty good about responding to messages, though whether or not problems are actually corrected is a different matter entirely.

Not because it is elegant or ornate, but because it was just what we were looking for....a simple and inexpensive option located near River Run Village. It is located right next door to the Snake River Saloon which is a good option for dinner/drinks if you don't feel like walking "all the way" to the village, which is just a ~10 minute walk. A great option for those who want to be near the Village but don't want to pay the extra $150+/night to do so. It sleeps four, but note it is all in the same room as the couch is a pullout. Covered parking is a big plus, and a ski locker is also provided though we didn't use it. If you are skiing/snowboarding I would recommend making the short drive over to Keystone's free lot as opposed to walking. Check in process was a little clunky as I had to follow up twice to receive the info/process for check in, but once we picked up the keys, etc (which is located just down Hwy 6 at another location) everything was smooth. I'd also note that everyone I spoke with at Summit County Mountain Retreats was very friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend this property and will keep it on mind for future ski trips.
