Wonderful house! My husband and I, our four grown children and one son-in-law stayed here for a week. Liked everything about the house. I can't come up with anything that could even be improved. If you are considering this rental, don't hesitate

Great house on the water. Wonderful 270 degree water views with both sunrises and sunsets. Good privacy. House was clean.

Everything was exactly as described in the listing. So beautiful! We had an issue witht the central air in one bedroom, and it was immediately addressed. Great property and location.

This house was everything we needed and then more! We visit the keys a few times a year and this has been one of the best properties we’ve stayed at! The PM Ann was such a blessing and helped us with shipping our fishing gear. Just perfect. So sad the trip is over

Manatees a plenty

My family and I took our first vacation to the Keys and this home did not disappoint. The house was the perfect size for my family of 6 and the location was amazing! The pictures of the view are beautiful but don’t do it justice! In person, it was breathtaking!!! The owners and managers of this home are so accommodating and a joy to work with! Anne is so kind and will help you with anything you need! I hope we can return one day! We miss it already!

We loved our stay and would stay again! Pros: it’s clean, laid out well, the pool, kayaks, hot tub and outside amenities were amazing. The property manager was responsive and helpful. The fishing was good on the canal and we caught enough for two meals. The sunrise views are beautiful! Things to note: it is lovely but dated so if you’re looking for modern, this isn’t your place. Some of the screens don’t work properly on the sliders so when I wanted to open them to let in fresh air, we couldn’t open all of them. The only lock to the house is a door at the bottom of the stairs that leads up to the 2nd story deck. The “door” to enter the house off the deck is a slider that doesn’t lock. Also, unlike some other houses we have stayed in around the Keys, there is no locking gate to get into the yard. None of these really bothered us but it’s always better to understand what the experience will be like in case things like this concern you. All in all, it was a great stay and definitely deserving of 5 stars!!

Great place

beautiful house on the ocean. Plenty of places to relax and hang out together. If i had one negative about the house is that we would have preferred another bathroom. Its important with adults to each have your own bathroom and not to share with another couple, Other than that we enjoyed our stay and would recommend renting this house

We picked Marathon Sunrise Dream for our families Milestone birthday celebration. This property exceeded all of our dreams. The first floor deck was perfect for out toddler to play safe from the pool area ~ Perfect for morning sunrises ~ Perfect for watching the kids play in the pool ~ Perfect for all of our cooking needs ~ Perfect for the water play toys, we enjoyed going out for kyack rides to watch the evening sunsets. This was our second summer in a row spending a week at the house. Great location, very comfortable and nice big private space at the end of the street. Channel in and out is tricky, but we figured it out last year and didn't have any issues this year. Made it in and out at low tide in a 31 foot Cat.

This property is ideal for family. Four nice sized bedrooms and 3 baths gave us plenty of room for our whole family. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils. Pool, hot tub, pool table and kayaks were fun after all day in the boat. Plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby.

Cons: dusty inside, couple cockroaches, stinky air from the rotten seaweed in the water Pros: large rooms, comfy beds, large patio area, nice showers, plenty of outdoor activities for kids (kayaks, pool, billiards, foosball, fishing off sea wall), big kitchen (REALLY well stocked), spacious docking, constant breeze knocked the stink down, plenty of parking, close to Publix & pizza We had a really great time! Looking forward to next year!

I can’t say enough good things about this house and the owner, Ann. It’s very obvious that the house, while older, has been meticulously and lovingly maintained by their family. It was absolutely spotless and well-stocked with beach toys and towels. The location is what makes it perfect - right in the heart of Marathon but on a quiet road ending at the ocean so you feel like you literally have the whole place (and ocean) to yourself. The views were absolutely incredible. We hated to leave!

This house was AMAZING!! It totally excesses all of my expectations. The pictures do not do it justice! We visited for my son’s High School graduation present per his request and will definitely w back! 10/10 recommend this house!

We loved the house, amenities and view. Just a phenomenal house and location. Plenty to do at the house and we rented a boat for a week and that was the perfect compliment. Docking was easy and convenient. Great time had by all.

This house is in a perfect location and has everything you need. Weather was an issue for us and we were forced to stay inside more than we wanted and with 9 people it got a little crowded at times. It is not quite as big as the pics make it out but I think most people understand that. There is no fishing equipment which I was expecting but I have friends that live there so no big deal. If someone is looking to spend a week in Marathon I would highly recommend this house.

We had a great time at this Marathon house. The location can not be better!! The outdoor space is spectacular. Communication with the owner is excellent with an easy check in /out process. We go to the Keys every year and we would gladly stay in this rental house again.

This property has a spectacular view, and a great outdoor space. From the pool to the kayaks to the abundance of seating for relaxing, there is no shortage of things to do without even having to leave the property. We had a group of 8 with 2 adults and 6 kids ranging from 7-14. Everyone had a great time and would recommend this home.

This house has everything you need!

Our family has stayed at many beautiful homes over the years, but this was our overall favorite. The 180 degree views of the ocean are stunning. The house was clean, comfortable and very spacious for our family of four. We enjoyed relaxing and reading on the covered deck, kayaking in the ocean, biking and soaking in the hot tub and heated pool. We'll definitely stay at this home again.

It's a perfect location and setup, we loved every minute here, the only mistake we made was leaving to go out for diner twice when we had the perfect place all the time, pool, kayaks, and sunsets.

Nine senior citizens enjoyed a week celebrating a birthday. The 270 degree views of the ocean are fabulous. Sunrise was a special treat. Even the flight of stairs to reach the living level did not deter us "older folks." This beautiful home had everything you could possibly need. The property owner even purchased a food processor when I had asked if there was one available. The kitchen was very well equipped. The beds and furniture in and out were comfortable. The pool was heated comfortably so that we could use it even in December. The hot tub, pool table and kayaks were a hit. We enjoyed both eating out and cooking in the kitchen. Key West is about an hours drive away, as Marathon is situated about halfway on the keys and just east of the Seven Mile Bridge. We especialy enjoyed the The Steak and Lobster House (doesnt look like much from the outside) for fine dining. Sombrero Beach is closeby and nice for swimming (although chilly at this time of year) and has picnic tables and a playground. The fishermen in our group did not have much luck fishing off the property but were persistent in trying. The driveway leading to the home is unpaved and needs repair, taking it very slow was necessary but not a problem. Thanks to the property manager, Ann, who was delightful to chat with and very responsive to any and all inquiries. This home did not disappoint and I highly reccommend it to anyone.

Our recent stay in this home checked off everything and then some of what we Love when visiting the keys. The privacy ,the ability to sit comfortably with family and friends or walk to so many different areas of this property to have peaceful moments with God which I desperately needed as I lost my bestfriend prior to this vacation. ;-( We love how they incorporated enough Kayak's for all 8 of us to enjoy. The panoramic views are hands down the best!!! We will return!!!

Property not boat access friendly also the street to the house very Muddy the ac systems are very loud and the living room and kitchen very hot. Also the pool is not as big as picture and not working properly also house needs a update , and dryer was clogged up with lint not working properly

Location and cleanliness made this property so enjoyable to vacay! Loved the upper deck and pool, kayaks! The bedrooms were very comfortable and the house stayed nice and cool bc it was 90 . The only suggestions for future vacayers is replace the bikes b/c the chains kept falling off, add an outdoor kitchen or bigger grilling station and provide beach chairs to take to the beach. Otherwise well stocked kitchen and beautifully decorated! Was amazing!

The place is impressive. Beautiful views. Convenient to most anything you will need or want to do. Great floor plan so everyone has plenty of room, beds and bathrooms. Highly recommend this property.

Beautiful property and nice layout for the house. Everything was clean and I’m working order. “Channel” to and from property is very skinny at low tide but we were able to carefully get our 31 foot boat in and out at low tide. Would definitely return
