Excellent cottage with great games room in basement.
Excellent cottage with great games room in basement. Cleaning before we arrived was excellent especially comforting in COVID times. Just a short walk in to Ambleside. Rear parking a bit narrow if you have a large car SUV but ok with care. Fantastic walks without having to drive.

Lovely cottage tucked away in a corner of Ambleside, but right at the heart of the town.
Lovely cottage tucked away in a corner of Ambleside, but right at the heart of the town. Well equipped and with plenty of space to put all your stuff, even if its wet. Off road parking - which is a real bonus and the added attraction of pool table and table tennis downstairs.

Just had 3 nights in Glenmore Cottage (our second visit).
Just had 3 nights in Glenmore Cottage (our second visit). The cottage was extremely clean, well equipped and comfortable. It is in a quiet area, and the parking behind the cottage is very convenient.
It is only a few minutes walk from shops and other amenities.
The front garden is a little restful spot to sit out when the sun shines.
Ambleside was extremely busy as were many other areas of the Lake District, as people start to come away after lock down, and it was difficult at times to achieve social distancing because of the narrow pavements, small shops and busy traffic.
Overall we had a very restful short break and would go back there in the future.

Glenmore cottage is perfectly located in Ambleside for easy access to all the local restaurants and amenities, and a great base for walks in the Lake District, my family had a fantastic holiday here and would highly recommend this cottage.

It was a lovely and comfortable cottage to stay with two young teenagers as they can use game rooms
It was a lovely and comfortable cottage to stay with two young teenagers as they can use game rooms and walk to the shops etc. Hope we’ll return again sometime in the future!

This is the third time we've stayed at Glenmore and we love it.
This is the third time we've stayed at Glenmore and we love it. Superb house very comfortable and well equipped and in a perfect location, quiet yet very close to the centre of fantastic Ambleside. We hope to come back again and again
