Our first mini vacation in Haustay was a blast! What a fantastic way to celebrate our Birthdays, Anniversary & Retirement in Carlsbad! Our condo unit is accessible to nearby restaurants, stores, & of course the beach! We are seniors & everything close is a big plus! We're looking forward to our next visit & hopefully stay in the same place!

We took our son for his 10th bday trip. The location could not be topped. Walking distance to shops and eateries (and amazing coffee) and the beach. Had all the beach items we would need. A comfy bed for us and he slept on the pull out couch bed. We had a small kitchen which was all we needed. The neighbors were amazing. We had an incredible time. We made it to the zoo. Legoland. Solana beach, an amazing slot canyon hike minutes from solana and went to see the sea lions! Very great space!

Loved the property! Location was perfect and loved that we were right next to Carlsbad Village and the beach was a five minute walk away. The moment you walk onto the property you are greeted with a beautiful and lush landscape and are shielded from the noise and bustle of the town around you. The condo is decorated very cute and was very clean. It was a perfect get away for my wife and I. Would recommend.

The location is great, and the apartment itself is attractive and well appointed. Checking in and out was very easy.

My stay at Coastal Casita was as described. Close to all the amenities and especially the beach!

The place was very clean and convenient to local restaurants and the beach. It had great amenities, including boogie boards, streaming service capabilities and Wi-Fi. While the A/C system was not ideal, the front door had a secure screen door that could be locked, and, when the bedroom window was open, there was great cross-ventilation. All in all, if we are ever in the area, we would stay here again.

This unit was amazing. We loved our stay and had great communication with the owners. Will be back. Pros: A block to the beach, restaurants, shops, Starbucks, etc. Unit is a full one bedroom, one bath, with kitchen, D/W, kitchen utensils, cookware, fridge, etc Had body board, chairs, cooler, etc to use to take to the beach Very comfortable, cozy, quiet Own covered parking space A/C Remodeled and looks very clean and nice Owners were pleasant and quick to respond Cons: A/C units are portable units so took awhile to cool down. Almost didn't see the one in the bedroom closet. My husband runs very warm, so likes it cool. Shower knobs are spikey so hurts to turn knobs off / on Overall loved it and can't wait to come back.

Coming to Carlsbad for a ladies get together, this was a perfect place to stay for myself and a friend of mine. It’s a cute place, clean and in a safe location. A great thing about it is when you walk out of the complex you’re just steps from town and a block away from the beach. Everything is so easy to get to. Even though the complex is right near town, the location of the unit was great and it was very quiet at night. The parking space is a little tight but it was manageable and great to have since parking is at a minimum. The owners are very responsive if you need them and they provided coffee and some snacks. We were very satisfied with our stay!

Great location. 2 blocks from beach and one block from village center with so many good restaurants!

I rented this cute condo for myself, daughter and 2 children (5 & 7). We had a wonderful time.. Everything was stocked for your needs including bottled waters, extra towels, extra blankets and the beds were absolutely comfortable. We could walk across the street to beach and you're right there in the Village. Cafe Elyse is great spot for breakfast and the Pizza place on the corner has amazing food.

Nick's place was clean, comfortable, and in a great location near the beach, restaurants, and shops. It's incredibly walkable--we walked about 2 blocks down to the beach everyday, and ordered take-out from local restaurants. We'd definitely recommend and would stay again!

Property was very clean and all instructions were very clear. Very close to the village, so you can walk everywhere. We enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our few days here and would have stayed longer if possible. Beach gear was highly appreciated and utilized! Nick was great host and responsive to our requests and texts.

This location was exactly what we needed it to be - a cozy little spot right in the heart of lovely Carlsbad with amazing beach access. Everything worked properly and was clean. Be aware that he bedroom faces a well lit parking lot, so sensitive sleepers might want to bring an eye mask. All things considered, it was a wonderful stay at a great little place.

Our stay at the coastal casita was great! What a cute little apartment right in the center of town! Only like a 5 minute walk from the beach and surprisingly a quiet location! Would definitely recommend!

Every year, over the past 13 years, we have stayed at other condos in this complex. This condo is our favorite and absolutely every step is taken to ensure your enjoyment.

We had a great stay at Nicks condo in Carlsbad village! The place was supposed to be for my sister but when everything started to shut down, she decided last minute not to visit so we decided to stay there instead. Even though we are local to San Diego, this condo was so relaxing and cozy. We couldn’t take advantage of the nearby beach and restaurants of course, but we did enjoy our long walks nearby with our 3 year old, such a great neighborhood! Communication with Nick was super easy and we had a wonderful experience. We look forward to booking again in the near future. I’m especially excited to return and take advantage of the surfboard and boogie boards.

This place is darling and equipped with all the beach fun you could want (e.g. chairs, boogie boards) in addition to a well-stocked kitchen (electric wine opener!). Its across the street from one of my all-time favorite cafes, and a few blocks further gets you beach access. We were cozy here on cool nights and Nick was super responsive. Such a wonderful place - would recommend to anyone!

I have stayed in Carlsbad a few times now and this is by far my favorite location! Morning coffee, wonderful restaurants and the beach, just steps away! The place was comfortable and clean and Nick was very easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!

Met all our expectations

Great stay. Very comfortable place. Nick was great, had one small situation of needing another beach chair, taken care of same day. Unit had everything needed for our stay. Plus having air conditioners both in living room and bedroom, as weather was warmer than expected. Perfect location for the village. Have fun

Everything you need for a great vacation.

The condo was neat and clean and fully furnished right down to supplied toilet paper. The location was ideal and a car not necessary in order to enjoy the beach and village. The owner was quick to respond to any and all of my questions. Would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you, Nick.

All aspects of renting and using this condo were easy. The owner was immediately available to respond to text questions. This very clean unit was in the heart of downtown providing many options for dining and for such things as renting electric bikes. The beach was a short walk and the Carlsbad Inn was across the street. There were life guards in towers and in vehicles. The unit also had a very comfortable bed, TVs in both rooms, with newer cooking and kitchen equipment. The AC worked very well. Looking forward to coming back in the future.
