The location was fantastic. Only a 10 minute walk to Waverley station and shops. It was very comfortable and perfect for 6 of us Host was lovely and left us a basket of goodies

only minor issue but found pillows too high and hard. I’ve had back surgery so prefer a softer lower pillow. I went and purchased a couple for myself.

Amazing space right in the middle of everything. The host Fiona welcomed us and showed us the apartment. The perfect stay when in Edinburgh. Highly recommendable.

The property is huge and so well kept! Our beds were some of the most comfortable of any place other than our own home we've stayed in a long time. Fiona was very communicative and gave great advice on how to reach the location from the airport and met us at almost midnight to show us the apartment and hand over the keys because our flight came in late. We loved the James Bond theme throughout the house and appreciated the welcome gift of sparkling wine and Scottish treats! The location is close to Saint Andrew Square and walking distance to the castle and the Royal Mile but a few blocks off the Fringe Festival going on while we were there, providing a quiet respite for the kids (and us) after a long day exploring Edinburgh. We will keep Escape to Edinburgh at the top of our list for any return trips to the city and would highly recommend this booking to our friends and family.

The apartment was immaculate, spotlessly clean and well appointed. Lots of nice touches including a welcome hamper with Prosecco and Scottish treats , to a handy tote bag to go out and about shopping with. Fiona kept in touch by txt to ensure she met us on arrival and then showed us round the apartment which felt very welcoming. We loved the location in New Town which was a ten minute walk from Edinburgh Waverley.

The location was excellent. Our host was very attentive by text. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The kitchen that had a full sized refrigerator and basic cooking facilities. Decor was gorgeous.

The pillows were a little firmer than we were used to.

The photographs don’t do this beautiful apartment justice. So much attention to detail, beautifully furnished , a really luxurious treat. Fiona has thought of everything. Perfect location too, very central in easy walking distance of the centre of Edinburgh and close to Stockbridge which was lovely to visit on the Sunday morning.

Loved the House and its location were probably the highlights. Our host, Fiona, couldn't have been helpful enough throughout out stay, especially with the 'welcome' pack of goodies. Everything is within 10 minutes walk.

Apartment was a luxury home away from home, perfect central base and great to spend quality family time together. Lots of lovely touches around the apartment to make you comfortable and cosy. Fiona was there to greet us on arrival to ensure we settled in fine. Would highly recommend!
