This was a beautiful condo, perfectly located on Kite Beach with a deck overlooking the beach and wonderful views off the balcony. Very well kept, clean, and comfortable. Everything about it was wonderful.

Our family has lived in the DR for years, so we have stayed in many places at different beaches. Ben's place at Palacio Atlantico is our favorite spot on the island! The apartment is very nice - nicely decorated, with a well-stocked kitchen, and it has an incredible view from its large balcony of beautiful gardens and Kite Beach. There is a constant breeze that keeps it comfortable. The beach is almost empty in the mornings, then in the afternoons you can watch the kite surfers. The apartment is kept clean and well maintained by the staff, and Kathy quickly responds to any needs that arise. We hope to keep coming back!

The condo is lovely- as someone else mentioned, it's even better than the pictures! We love the location- the kites are so beautiful, and there is plenty to do nearby, but you can also be the only one on the beach some days- the best of both worlds. We loved our stay and will stay again. Honestly, it didn’t fully meet the high expectations we had based upon everyone else’s reviews. It seems like Kathy has gotten busier and is less attentive. However, when it mattered the most she came through for us. The owner, Ben was amazing and went over and above to make sure everything was perfect! We used Marino as our taxi driver who was always available within minutes of our call on “What’s App” and it cost less than we would have paid for a rental car. He was always gracious and made multiple stops and waited for us while shopping. He even spent the day taking us to The 27 Waterfalls and Ziplining. Instead of booking with tour company we had a private comfortable ride on our schedule bought our tickets on site and paid less than booking through a tour company. I can’t say enough good about Marino. He is the cement that held the trip together. Our only real complaint was that we were only provided one garbage bag per trash can and one roll of toilet paper per bathroom. No soap either in the kitchen or bathrooms. We requested soap and after repeatedly asking and then seeking out the housekeeper we finally got one soap dispenser for the kitchen. I would think the owner and manager would want the guests to take out the garbage not leave it in the room to attract bugs, and wash the dishes with soap! Doesn’t it benefit all guests in the long run? It seemed like they relied more upon the guests purchasing supplies and leaving the left overs for the next guests provisions. There are two dogs on property that are so sweet and friendly but don’t be fooled if they sense danger such as someone approaching on the beach they are quick to protect the guests. They were like our personal pets while we were there. If you don’t like dogs you may not like it. We loved that part of the stay. The little tiki deck beachside was my favorite place to relax and read a book listen to the waves and watch the kites flying. The unit was very clean and updated. There was an ant problem in the kitchen any food must be kept tightly sealed. Maybe providing ziplock bags would be a nice idea. I requested Kathy to pick some up for us but she never did. My son got sick while there and Kathy contacted the pharmacy and arranged for medication to be delivered by the morning. Overall I gave 4 star rating because any drawbacks were outweighed by exceptional areas but there are areas for improvement.

The most beautiful place that I have ever seen in life. The spectacular garden views that surrounded the pool and the garden that surrounded the balcony as I enjoyed overlooking it to see the ocean waves come in… my life has changed in this amazing place. I will return soon!❤️

This is an ideal home away from home on the incredible Kite Beach! We enjoyed taking walks on the beautiful white sand beach, sitting at the palapa watching kite surfing, taking a dip at the pool with the serene sound of the waterfall. The property has the most luscious landscaped gardens in all of Kite Beach! Palacio Atlantico 1-B is spacious with beautifully equipped gourmet kitchen, Nespresso coffee maker with varied espresso pods; beautifully decorated bedrooms and very comfortable beds; bathrooms with safe and roomy shower stalls. The staffs are extremely attentive! Pedro Jose, jack of all trades, keeps the garden in perfect shape, Mr. Fixit; Delcia keeps everything sparkling clean AND gives incredible massages! Last but not least Kathy Santos, the manager, who is very welcoming, attends to all the details and helpful with our transportation needs and recommendations to all of our shopping needs. We have become fondly of Blanca and Noir, the resident dogs, that provide companionship during the day and security during the night. A memorable first trip to Dominican Republic!

my wife and I have rented numerous condos throughout the island and had intended to stay at placio atlantioc for only a week after only a few days we decided to extend our stay to 3 weeks... the grounds of the property are outstanding a tropical paridise pictures do it no justice ...the condo was beautiful spacious and well equipied hotel style very comfortable beds and the place was spotless ...ps . not to mention the breath taking views hope we have the pleasure of staying there again

We loved our stay at this beachfront condo! The gardens are absolutely beautiful. They surround the pool and border the walkways making it all feel like Paradise. The unit, which is just steps away from the ocean, has a spacious balcony for enjoying the beach views and breezes. The condo itself is nicely decorated and well appointed, with a full kitchen, large dining table, spacious living area, and 2 bedroom/bath combinations with king size beds. Both the owner and the manager are friendly and responsive, as are all of the staff. Right next door to the condo is a little restaurant with delicious food and great drinks. We walked along the beach to Cabarete almost daily; it's such a beautiful walk (about a mile). Honestly, we couldn't have had a better time nor been more impressed with our accommodations. We look forward to returning next year!

We had an absolutely amazing experience at the Apt. It's located directly oceanfront in the heart of Kite Beach. The Apt is beautiful, clean, fully stocked, and has everything you might need, and Kathy (the property manager) is always on call if there's anything you might need during your stay. Ben (The owner) was extremely helpful and patient during the booking process making sure we are absolutely satisfied. I will absolutely stay here again the next time we are in Cabarete. Thanks again for an amazing experience!

The condo is comfortable, well stocked and the location is perfect. The gardens are amazing and the view from the condo is awesome. Loved listening to the waves and watching the kite surfers. I felt safe and would stay again. Thanks!!

From booking to checkout of this amazing property, everything was flawless. The people: The owners, Ben and Jennifer were extremely prompt and patient in responding to my numerous emails and Ben calling me directly and providing me with information on the area was invaluable. The experience starts there. Then you are introduced to their wonderful house manager, Kathy. She is a national treasure and is also prompt in responding to requests and always available to help with whatever needed to be done. Thanks for the tangerines and the rum Kathy! I absolutely adore her. She is my new friend in Cabarete. Kathy keeps that unit running like a well oiled machine. Her only goal is that you have a wonderful vacation and she exceeded that goal. The lovely Dominga kept the condo so clean and comfortable. She truly cares about the guest experience and comfort and is a sweet lady. Pedro Jose and Paulino took excellent care of the grounds and were always smiling and helpful. Now about the property - Everything is in this condo. It is beautifully decorated and has all utensils, dishes and cookware you need. It is extremely quiet. Although kite beach can be windy in the afternoon which is no big deal it’s warm, the patio is never windy and it’s shaded. You have a beautiful view of the kite surfers right from comfort of patio or if you want, you can watch from the palapa which is sunny all day! Don’t be afraid to take a Guagua into Sosua or Puerto Plata. It’s easy and fun. Also don’t be afraid to take the 3km walk down the beach to Janet’s to get groceries. The exercise is great and you can buy fresh so we walked every day. La Rosa is a closer walk for groceries but not as good of options. Our favorite was Super Pola in Sosua and also Playero in Sosua is great but we preferred Pola. Also walk the other direction down the beach to Playa Encuentero - it is a beautiful surf beach and stunning walk down beach and through the pathway in trees. It’s a bit of a trek but worth it to walk there and beyond to some stunning beaches with little or nobody around. We will be back to Atlantico Palacio! Thanks to all of you for making this retirement trip so wonderful and relaxing!

Thank you Kathy and Ben for a great Family Vacation! This place is absolutely perfect and on a beautiful location! We were there for 7 nights with the plans of continuing our kiteboarding lessons, practices as well as doing some sightseeing. The location was next to gokite school, who assisted us with all we needed to know. The apartment was equipped with everything we normally need and much more; beach gear, maps, guides, and much more. Kathy was a phone call away the entire week, and was wonderful with apartment related assistance and general guidance throughout Cabarete and DR. I highly recommend this place. Please know that this is coming from someone who usually does not write reviews as the majority of the time I am unhappy about something! lol Once again, "Thank You" Kathy and Ben! We hope to be back with family and friends next time!

My friends and I have wanted to visit Kite Beach/Cabarete for a couple years now and are so happy we found this gem. The location is perfect, the kitchen well stocked, and the staff extremely helpful. Responses from Ben were super fast. Kathy is more a woman of action, my texts went unanswered but all of my wishes came true :) Even our neighbors in the condos were great. We will definitely be coming back again and again. The kite school next door is perfect. Thanks Ben and Kathy!

The grounds and condo are just as they look in photos. Kathy is the best so sweet and friendly and very responsive. The 2 dogs on property are great super friendly. We used the local bus to get to town and Sosua. Super cheap like 25 cents but they will cram 20 people into a van meant for 12 but that was part of the experience of being with the locals. Vagamundo best waffle and coffee. We wouldn't come back but only because we don't kite surf and the wind and waves are not ideal for lounging by the beach.

Loved Palacios Atlantico. The condo was better than described and the tropical garden overlooking the sea was outstanding. Great work by Paulino on the gardens. Excellent greetings from Kathy and Dominga was very sweet. The condo could not have been nicer...always a beautiful sea breeze while sitting on the patio. Just lovely. Cannot wait to come back and visit with Noir, Rambo and Gingerbread (the cat). Loved every minute, especially the deck on the beach. Great mojitos next door. Am looking forward to retirement and spending two months in this wonderful place!!
