The house was nice and comfortable.

We went for our family Thanksgiving and really had a nice time. It was a big sports weekend for Wisconsin and all of our teams won. The only suggestion i would make is to add a tv upstairs.

Beautiful location - you feel as you are in a treehouse!

This cabin was even better than the fabulous pictures online. The cabin is gorgeous, decorated beautifully and well laid out. The location is perfect. We had so many plans offsite, but once we arrived cancelled everything and stayed on property. Diane helped us in getting a motor for the boat and we enjoyed the beautiful lake. Diane was great. Almost reluctant to say how wonderful it was because then everyone will want to be there and we definitely want to come back.

This is a beautiful property, inside and out. The views from the home, the deck, and the dock were gorgeous. We enjoyed the quietness of the lake and time spent on our canoe trips around all the different coves. We also enjoyed discovering a little more of the area, including the bike trails. There is much to do in the area and we only had time to scratch the surface of all the outdoor adventure options. The owners and property manager were on top of our questions and very responsive. The only thing we missed was having a pontoon available at our dock to do more exploring and fishing. This was an awesome location for our summer family getaway.

This beautiful home with gorgeous views is the place we chose to have a week up north Wisconsin with our kids and grandson. We enjoyed the lake which was not busy. It was quiet and peaceful, and we could canoe with the loons. This is the most fully furnished VRBO we have ever stayed at. The accommodations were beyond what we expected - it was all beautiful and well maintained, and the kitchen was well-furnished. The patio overlooking the lake was a favorite!

My family and I had a nice relaxing time away at this gorgeous property. The lake was quiet and peaceful. The house was even better then the pictures (and the pictures were nice). There was plenty of room for all of us. The kitchen was fully stocked which was nice because we made most of our meals in house. Check in was super easy and great communication from the owners and the property manager.

It was a wonderful stay, everything was as expected. My favorite was the beautiful clean and clear lake and the point at the bonfire pit was awesome. The house is on a cliff and there are 65 steps down to that beautiful clean and clear lake on one side. The house is filled with decorations dangerous for children so that and the cliff it is obviously is not child friendly but perfect for adults.

Lovely house. Right on the lake. Recommend renting a pontoon from Blackbear Rentals, who deliver directly to the property. Completely as advertised. Five stars.

Paradise in the Northwoods is the best way to describe this property. From the pretty decor in the home to, the amazing views outside. We were entertained watching the many hummingbirds, birds and red squirrels. We did see some deer in the area. We brought our pontoon, the lake was beautiful and peaceful. If you are looking for a getaway with amazing views and a gorgeous home, this is the place to be. Gorgeous property! The house is awesome, but the lot and location steal the show. Just a beautiful setting. We heard and saw the loons every morning. Enjoyed the firepit by the water in the evening. The house is very clean and has everything you would want. We hope to be back soon.

The house was beautiful and there was plenty of room for our group! The Kids had lots to due when we got in from riding. The house is close to the beaver lodge which is a great place to end the night. It was a great weekend. The only issue we had was we were unable to get our 27’ trailers up the driveway due to it being to steep.

Wonderful property. Clean and well equipped. Snowmobile trails easily accessible only 1 mile away. 4 great ski hills less than one hour drive.

Friends and I took a trip to go snowmobiling. Although we did not get the snow we needed, there was plenty to do in the area. We ended up skiing instead. The house was immaculate. It had everything we needed. The kitchen was stocked with all necessary supplies for a few amateur chefs to prepare meals some elaborate meals. The view from every window was amazing. The beds were comfortable. The TV and cable were a nice touch to watch tons of college and pro football. All the locals were very friendly. Communication with the property manager was very good as well. We are already looking at dates for next year.

My family and I decided to stay at this beautiful house with the purpose of connecting and relaxing together. We couldn’t have stayed in a more perfect place for that!! The house was so clean! It made us feel very comfortable, which was wonderful. In addition, they have done recent remodeling which was beautiful but it also clearly showed that they keep the property fresh and up to date. Thank you so much - we look forward to staying there again!!

Everything was outstanding. Beautiful home. Loved sitting on the deck overlooking the lake drinking wine. At night it was so quiet. Complete relaxation. Would love to stay again.

The home was just beautiful. It appears to be the highest, most secluded, point on Spider Lake. You are literally surrounded by water on all sides so the view from the deck is incredible. The loons are very vocal making the experience more special. One note is the water level on the lakes is very low. The public boat launch is not usable so we had to launch our pontoon at a private boat launch. Saturday launch is $10, all other days $200. Fishing was mostly small perch and smallmouth bass. Overall, best VRBO experience and most beautiful property.

We had a delightful stay at this property. It was exactly the kind of family destination that we were seeking. The lake home is magnificent and had room for everybody. The kitchen was elaborately supplied and our meals overlooked the beauty of the lake. Diana, the property manager was very kind and helpful. She EVEN called around to help me find an outdoor motor after my pontoon boat rental fell through from Greer's Pier. (I called Greer's Pier and told them that I wanted to rent a pontoon on Spider Lake. "No problem!" They told me. The only problem is that there are TWO Spider Lakes in close proximity to each other. Greer's Pier is on a different Spider Lake. I later found out that Wisconsin has fourteen different Spider Lakes. I found out the hard way so that you won't have to lose your boat deposit, like I did.) To emphasize: The owner and the property manager had nothing to do with this error. The error was on me and Greer's Pier. Diana helped me find a motor for the row boat. She was a true asset. I just hope that future renters can benefit from my experience. I would definitely book this rental again. Our treasured memories of a week at Spider Lake (the one in Mercer, that is) will last a lifetime!

We had an outstanding time despite the weather being “iffy”. The house was beautiful and the kitchen was well stocked to suit all our cooking needs. Nights were spent in the screened in porch playing games and sharing stories. Thank you !

Our family loved this location, the space, the well appointed kitchen, the windows, the multiple outdoor eating/sitting spaces and the immaculate condition of the house. We appreciated having boats to use (though we brought our own kayaks and were very glad for them) and the prop manager was a good communicator.

Many of my family, friends and I work in health care and government agencies. Everyone has been overworked lately due to the Pandemic. This property was the perfect place to take a breath and unwind. The views were absolutely breathtaking! We've all fallen in love with this property. The host and property manager were very accommodating and answered every inquiry before and after out stay. I'm so sad I forgot to sign the guest book. Quite a few funny stories in there. Overall, I was happy that I was able to provide my loved ones with the break that they needed in such a beautiful home.

This is a super clean and beautiful property. The owners and property manager were quick to respond to inquiries. The home was perfect for my husband, toddler, baby and in laws. The top floor has an open floor plan and the lower level was a nice family game space. The view was amazing. While it rained most of our stay, we were able to be out a bit and enjoy nature. We highly recommend this property for its cleanliness, responsive owners and manager and the views.

Sitting hi above the water. This place has views in all directions. 61 steps to waters edge, might be a problem for some But Well worth the effort. Thanks for memories!
