The absentee owner does not maintain this property. The rental is dirty and run down. Wood work is filthy, floors were dirty, curtains haven't been washed in 10 years. The windows are dirty and the screens are falling off. The pictures of this rental were staged many years ago because they don't reflect the condition of this property at this time.

Jekyll Realty was good. The location of the Bradfield house is perfect. It is just steps to the beach. The beach is great. The price for the Bradfield is excellent for the location. There is a trade off however. The house is outdated with the exception of the kitchen which has been updated. There are water stains around several of the HVAC registers. If you don't mind staying somewhere that is somewhat dated and somewhat unsightly then this is the place for you. We had plenty of space for a family of 4 and a family of 6. The water pressure was low, but the air kept us cool in August. Overall a good experience but don't expect anything better than the pictures.

Ok I read all reviews so I had a idea what I was getting into . The location is Excellent! So if you can overlook the conditions of this house then this house is for you . It looks like everything inside came from a goodwill and has a terrible odor in the house .The laundry was on the backside of the house , you literally had to walk outside to get to it and I refused to go inside , my husband did all the laundry. So if the location is the most important thing to your family then this is your house . But if you want a relaxing home and a nice place to hangout , don’t rent this , it needs a MAJOR update

Lots of bed space with an updated kitchen. it really needs a some TLC: carpet has an odor, screens are torn, plumbing really needs some work. We were there for only a few days, so not really a challenge for a short time. The grills in the description are completely rusted thru and should just be thrown away.

The house had plenty of room for us and was well equipped. The yard is large and the setting is quiet because you're at the end of a street. There is quick access to the beach (as long as it isn't high tide) and easy access to the bike path.

Perfect location. Enjoyed the short walk to the beach The property is dated but we knew what to expect from the listing. Check-in and out very easy.

Very musty and did not clear up with A/C use. 3: Family room ceiling is water stained, apparently from condensation from A/C vents. 4: all draperies throughout are extremely dated and worn. Drapery rods didn't work. 5: electrical outlet for washing machine is exposed and very unsafe.
Overall, the house layout and location are fine...most furniture is good. Just a lot of building cleaning, maintenance and updating needed. I understand this is responsibility of the owners. Overall, Jekyll Realty staff are helpful and we've been renting through them for many years.

Great place, good location. Beach access is across the street. Quite neighborhood. Kitchen had everything we needed. Only negative is, it could use an update (paint and carpet) but the beds were comfy and we would definitely stay again. Staff and maintenance were super friendly and helpful!!!

For anyone else staying there I would say don’t stay there. The people at the office are very nice. That’s the only good thing I can say. Hated the house. I would say to the person who owns the house please service your air conditioner.

We have stayed at the Bradfield before mostly because of the location. We would recommend a few things: a new t.v. In the main living area, remove the carpet and put down tile; paint the walls to brighten the interior; the ceiling tiles in the bedrooms need replacing- it looks like water damage. The kitchen was renovated a few years ago and has a new stove now and a new sofa and love seat were put in the living area- the kitchen has a good flow - there is a lot of cabinet storage as well as counter space. Overall the house is great. Thank you for allowing us to stay.
